When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. When I learned that there are people who know how to cut curly hair, I looked for someone in this field and found someone in my area. I was incredibly fortunate that I found Christina, who somehow sees my mess of hair as a potential cascade of curls. She really sees my hair in its best light - before it's cut!!! Now, I just wet my hair and I see ringlets everywhere. I never got a haircut that lets my hair's natural curl easily do its thing! There is no setting a style - she cuts it in a way that my hair can just be, and I appreciate the curls. Beyond enjoying that relaxing, soothing head massage/shampoo/conditioner session in the spa-like room, and getting excellent haircuts, I love the casual talk and easy laughs. I consistently have a good time there and leave feeling great. Even my husband, who hasn't let anyone touch his long hair in years, noticed that, so he sits in Christina's chair every few months! I've spoken to Maggie, who proudly told me that Christina and her team continue to get education and inspiration to grow. She puts good things out and her shop continues that. This was a surprise experience so I wasn't aware I needed a bathing suit for the mud bath, but the staff provided little towels to keep my modesty and not have to get my clothing wet for the bath. They did the collagen facial while I was in the mud bath which was convenient, but it wasn't really a facial like I'm used to. They mostly just wiped some stuff on my face and put a face mask sheet on my face, nothing special. The mud bath was really nice and relaxing though and made me feel super smooth and nice after. The staff was all very professional and made me feel cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning. They also use the high end skin care products I use at home so that's a plus (I believe it's extra for them in the services). He understands Asian hair and how to lift it to a beautiful blond without looking brassy. I have bounced around to different Fort Lauderdale salons after moving here 5 years ago and couldn't quite find a perfect fit with the dozen or so places I have tried out. I wanted an easy low maintenance blond (yes I know, no such thing with blond), and Tomy came through. I came in with three layers of color- dark roots about 2 inches long, bleached muddy blond through the middle and orange ends. It was a disaster grow out. I had a consult with Markie for blonde highlights and to blend in my roots but since Markie couldn't do highlights at the moment, she deferred me to Tomy. I didn't know I was in for a treat. I showed Tomy pics of what I wanted and he insisted that the color I wanted would wash me out and that I would not be happy with the maintenance since I wanted low maintenance. Initially, I was disheartened but I can appreciate his honesty and after he explained what he thought would work better for me yet achieve something close to what I was looking for. I thought I came in for a consult but he worked me in between his clients so that he could show me what he could achieve yet still make me happy. Mind you, the salon was super busy but the man is a multitasking genius! He did a toner and root scrape while Markie did my haircut and Yasleen did my blowout. Did I mention that my color was a disaster? Well, 2 hours later, what was flat and orange and 3 different colors was now bright, golden and well blended. My dark roots melted into the blond so seamlessly, you would think Michelangelo painted it himself. I absolutely love the results!
