I have thin hair and she was able to do a really nice style with it. She asked questions about my hair care routine and offered tips. She was friendly and held a lovely conversation the entire time. I highly recommend her. The salon was excellent. The owner offered drinks, the chairs reclined with leg rests, and they offer incentives to keep you coming back. I'm surprised it took me 16 years to stumble on this place. I will definitely be back. I did try to go back this May on a Saturday before 5pm, but they were apparently closed. The door was open and there were people inside, but when I walked in the lady yelled at me what do you want. I guess I caught them at the wrong time. I'll have to try again.

I have bounced around to different Fort Lauderdale salons after moving here 5 years ago and couldn't quite find a perfect fit with the dozen or so places I have tried out. I wanted an easy low maintenance blond (yes I know, no such thing with blond), and Tomy came through. I came in with three layers of color- dark roots about 2 inches long, bleached muddy blond through the middle and orange ends. It was a disaster grow out. I had a consult with Markie for blonde highlights and to blend in my roots but since Markie couldn't do highlights at the moment, she deferred me to Tomy. I didn't know I was in for a treat. I showed Tomy pics of what I wanted and he insisted that the color I wanted would wash me out and that I would not be happy with the maintenance since I wanted low maintenance. Initially, I was disheartened but I can appreciate his honesty and after he explained what he thought would work better for me yet achieve something close to what I was looking for. I thought I came in for a consult but he worked me in between his clients so that he could show me what he could achieve yet still make me happy. Mind you, the salon was super busy but the man is a multitasking genius! He did a toner and root scrape while Markie did my haircut and Yasleen did my blowout. Did I mention that my color was a disaster? Well, 2 hours later, what was flat and orange and 3 different colors was now bright, golden and well blended. My dark roots melted into the blond so seamlessly, you would think Michelangelo painted it himself. I absolutely love the results!

Of course, concerned with the health of my hair I had another round of oloplexes and Shanece (their apprentice) does a great job of doing as well as recommending great products and things to do with your hair at home to keep it healthy and beautiful. Ps. I only like when Shanece does my oloplexes. And it may seem like a simple job but I think you need to be good at product placement and letting me know what's the status of my hair and what it's lacking. Thank you Shanece. 3- Availability/booking-- making appointments is a one of a kind experience here. We text and we call. RJ is so amazing at this. There have been times where I need to get in or need to make a last minute appt and we will go back and forth with our schedules until it's done and she doesn't even seem phased by it. Who does that?? She will make sure she makes it happen and that does not go unnoticed. BS hairshop cares. They care about their clients, they care about hair and they care about outcomes. When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. After returning home from traveling abroad, I came to Jigsaw based on recommendations by my mom and extremely picky aunt. I figured if my aunt liked this place, it must be worth a try. It turns out pretty much my entire family get their hair cut by Suzanne, so I requested her too. I gotta say, her hands are incredibly talented! I don't know know how to describe what I want even if someone handed me a dictionary so I showed her some pictures that I got off of Google. The results were way better than I had expected! Sometimes what you see in pictures don't exactly fit your head shape, etc, but Suzanne can work it so that fits you. That's real talent! I should also mention that I have severe psoriasis on my scalp and some hair salons shy away from cutting my hair, afraid that they might hurt me. Suzanne has a ton of experience and the staff here are super gentle when shampooing so it doesn't hurt me at all. They even took the time to ask questions and use the correct shampoos. On my second time back, I took my hair way short because I'm getting ready to film YouTube videos about my psoriasis issues. Suzanne was cutting my mom's hair so her husband cut mine. These two must be a power couple because man, the dude is amazing! I wasn't worried at all that this is the first time he's cutting my hair.
