I contacted New Age per rebuilding a 6ft. high brick wall adjacent to my neighbors back yard. (background: The roots of my ficus trees caused the wall to lean by 8"). Per the project; quite honestly, Yotan was absolutely one of the best masonary/hardscape contractors I have ever used (I own several rental properties, so, have done quite a bit of masonary and hardscape work in San Diego over the past 25+ years. Details on i) Quality, ii) Price, iii) Communications, iv) work crew, and one guiding point follow below: The Project: Although the original wall was just 'free-standing,' I requested to replace the wall with a retaining wall which consists of 18" x 18" concrete footings with rebar and concrete inside all the bricks. This job also had another degree of complication; I had a masonry planter box on my side of the property with large 20' ficus trees. As part of the job, after demo'ing the wall, Yotan's team removed the massive amount of roots (so that I could replace the ficus with less invasive plants). Yotan's crew: During the project, Yotan's team was extremely polite, friendly and a great pleasure to interact with.
