First time at Adriatico's. It's a comfortable, cool sports bar. They have Covid precautions in place by separating tables with plastic shower curtains in between. I ordered a cider and veggie zoni (calzone) to eat. The veggie zoni was a bit basic but delicious. I received garlic butter to dip the zoni in - which was 10/10 garlic butter. We ordered Gelato too. Adriatico's has been around the Clifton area for soooo many years. They have been in 3 locations that I know of. I'm so happy to see them acquire their current full service restaurant. The first 2 were pick up spots. I love thier sauce, it's a tad spicy but not real heat. I think they have the best sausage I've ever had on pizza. I love the thick crust. I know everyone has their crust preference so it's nice that they now offer hand tossed and thin. I think their salads are awesome and the Zonis are pretty good as well. I know there is much debate about pizza in our area. There are others that I like but this is my favorite. read more

Loves me some Adriatico's pizza!!! Been eating it for years. Hell, I remember when they had one way out in Amelia, probably 30 years ago. We get it in to work a few times a year. I work at a nearby hospital and every once-in-a-while the OR will spring for Adriatico's. I need to take a picture next time. They probably need a cargo van to get all those pizzas there. No lie, they will get 20-25 Bearcats of differing varieties. If you've ever seen the size of a Bearcat from Adriatico's, you understand that 20-25 of them could probably cover the area of a little league baseball diamond. The Sicilian thick crust is the way to go. Never had the thin, because: why? The crust is flavorful and garlicky, the sauce has a bit of spice that's very nice. They have super-sized pepperoni, good bulk sausage. Apparently they have some other stuff besides pizza too. The place is sports bar style with big screens and sportsball games on them. Probably 30-40 taps. Piss beers, locals, wannabe crafts, national crafts. Go here and win. read more

I've been waiting to try Adriatico's for a long time. It's kind of blasphemous that I haven't had this UC staple...until now. They say good things come to those who wait, but this pizza was beyond good. I ordered a medium Meaty pizza and a side of boneless wings to-go. "Meaty" is an apt name for this pizza. Wow! That's a lot of meat, but I wasn't mad at it. I ordered the pizza on Sicilian crust as recommended by the very nice gentleman that took my order. The crust was on point too. I loved the sauce. This is some wonderful pizza! We got a half meaty, half buffalo chicken pizza with Sicilian crust. It was fabulous! Lots of toppings and the sauce was a little spicy and very tasteful! They have at least 30 or more beers on tap. We also got the buffalo chicken egg rolls as an appetizer & they were to die for. The signage and store front of this place is a little lacking. So I have been going there for years. I enjoy the pizza and it is different from most. I took a break from it due to my former supervisor always ordered for events so I went without pizza for awhile. Fast forward, my friend is in town and mentioned a chicken Pesto Egg Rolls. I never heard of them but he spoke highly of them. I decided to order them with tater tots. It was busy but didn't take long to prepare. Oh my goodness, these egg rolls are the best. They are so tasty and flavorful. I really enjoyed the egg rolls even without the sauce. I will definitely be back for more. It was one of the best items I have had in a long time. My four is just because it was super busy and staff could have been slightly more responsive when I first arrived. Look forward to having it again. read more

I am new to the area and recently visited with two friends. They're following all social distancing rules and offer plastic dividers in between tables. I felt very safe dinning indoors. They have a HEALTHY selection of beer draft options. I got the pesto chicken app. They were pretty good. But the BREADSTICKS with parm is BOMB. We also got a Hawaiian pizza and bbq chick pizza-- both absolutely delicious. I can see why this place is my bf fav pizza place and we will be back often. After two years, we finally returned here a couple of weeks ago with a group of 14. The food was so hot, fresh, and delicious and the service was so good that my partner and I returned again today where we were met with very poor service and very mediocre food. The server literally leaned against the counter and talked to his co-workers for the duration of our meal. He never checked back to see how the food was and didn't offer drink refills until near the very end of our meal. I started to tell him about the comparatively poor quality of today's pizza versus a couple of weeks ago and he interrupted and walked away. So, this place is very hit and miss. An absolute scam--we ordered pizza for delivery at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and were called back 20 minutes later to say we either had to come pick up the pizza or have a wait for a 2-3 day refund. We live 10 minutes from campus. We spoke to the manager, not yelling and articulating our frustration that we would like what we were promised in the initial call...just a pizza delivery. The manager got heated and actually HUNG UP on us. We will never order pickup from Adriatico's again. The phone conversation we had with the manager was completely inappropriate. Do NOT go to this location. General manager Tom Erbeck has absolutely terrible service. I went to order a pizza, and thankfully before I took a bite, I found piece of hair underneath it. Disgusting! I called back and they said they would remake it, and I also ordered tator tots as well in which I asked can they remake it - because by the time I would get my new pizza, they would be cold. They refused and told me I would have to pay for a new order. Because I didn't want to cause any drama, I paid for them, got my new pizza and headed home. Once I got home, I realized they gave me mozzarella sticks instead of the tator tots that I asked and paid AGAIN for! At this point, I just wanted a resolution and for them to take accountability. Since the manager on duty (Cam) was a jerk to me already, I decided to go above his head and call back in the morning to explain everything to the GM (who I found out is also the owner of this location) I called back this morning, and the GM (Tom Erbeck) proceeded to say that I should have called back last night (and spoke to his incompetent manager Cam) to tell them they gave me the wrong order. He also refused to give me a refund, credit, or resolution on a simple order and stated that maybe, "you should go to Larosa's as it would be a better fit." He then stated that I should accept that I'm not getting a resolution and we should part ways. I was appalled. Where is this hostility coming from? Why are you mad that YOUR restaurant messed up the order? Being very nasty and refusing to help the customer in any way. Is this really how you want to run a business? This could've been avoided last night, but they were jerks about it. The only manager who empathized this morning was Marcus. Kudos to him, but I feel very bad for the employees walking around afraid of Cam and Tom and their disgusting leadership style! This was my first time here! I ordered a calzone with garlic sauce and it was amazing and very filling (had to take leftovers home)! They have plastic hanging in between each of the tables to help with protection/social distancing. Our service was great, especially since my friend and I sat there for quite some time talking and catching up. Our waitress didn't make us feel rushed and told us to pay whenever we were ready. Would totally go back again! Also, they have a VERY tiny parking lot for the restaurant just up the street on the right. If there's one food me and my husband both love fairly equally, it would be pizza. Now he definitely wants it more frequently than I do, but that just kind of goes along with my need for variety. I just can't eat the same food over and over again. But nary a week passes that we don't have pizza at least once. Yet we still just don't have a favorite place in town.So, we've decided it's high time we take a closer look at the pizza places around town. Adriatico's New York Style Pizza and Sports Bar seems to be a fairly popular pizza around here. I've had it a couple times at work, and we've gotten a to-go order at least once. It's near the University of Cincinnati campus, so we weren't sure how congested it was going to be, and we anticipated having to pay for parking. As we pulled up to a meter, I spotted a sign that side Parking for Adriatico's. Saved us some change! Their small lot is just a short walk away. We were here around early afternoon on a Saturday, so it wasn't very crowded. Now, I did mention that they're near campus, so the bar was already full and a little loud. It definitely had a college vibe, but overall a very relaxed pub atmosphere. We started our meal with an order of the Tater Tots. A side of tots with Cheddar Cheese is $2.50. It was a decent size for a side with a good amount of cheese, although they were slightly too greasy. My husband loves him some Beer Cheese, so he also advocated for this appetizer, which is served with 6 breadsticks ($6.99). The beer cheese itself was creamy and there was a good amount of it. The warm breadsticks it came with were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Finally, the main event. We ordered a Medium Build Your Own ($11.49) with Sicilian Crust topped with Mushrooms ($1.50 for additional toppings). The husband wanted more cheese, and generally, I'm in agreement with that; however, I found this pizza to be plenty flavorful even if the cheese did appear to be a little sparse. Adriatico's is uniquely spicy, but they offer lite sauce and no garlic or some specialty pizzas come without sauce altogether. It's a spice that you'll take notice of, but it's not overwhelming. VERDICT: This pizza is priced at average value. The cheese is a little light, but I don't think it really takes away from the flavor. The mushrooms are fresh, and the crust is good. I think it has garlic baked into it, so it's the kind of crust I actually want to eat the majority of, instead of passing across the table to my carb-loving husband. I like the sauce, but you may want to go light if spice isn't your thing. Plus, they have good sides. My husband would rate it 7.5-8/10. He strongly preferred dining there vs. the takeout from there that we've gotten in the past, but he would definitely return. read more

I tried them years ago and somehow forgot about them, until last week. I had a craving for a standard classic good pizza. I like 'fancy' pies with not-so-obvious ingredients, but from time to time, I crave a more standard pizza with pepperoni and peppers :D I called them on a Tuesday evening, ordered one of the classics on a hand tossed, thinner crust. It was ready within 20 min. Everyone inside were wearing masks and my interaction during payment felt safe. The pizza was great. Enjoyed it with a beer. Nice cheat meal!!! read more

A great spot close to the UC Campus. My go to order - Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and mild wings. (I normally like hot but they have some kick here) Food is always timely and delicious. Another great item is their breadsticks..... my mouth waters just thinking about them dipped in the cheese. Also, they have a great selection of beer on tap... almost too many though so be careful! The local ones are written on the wall in BLUE! My only request is that they fix the big tables along the window. A wobbly table is never the best customer experience!
