It turned out to be a fiasco! (It started on a Wednesday) He ran the drops but did not understand the instructions for using the Aruba wireless/ HPe access point mounting kits (part number: AP-220-MNT-W2W). In the process, he cut up and damaged one of the mounts as well as made over 8 screw holes in my ceiling. When he was "complete" he quickly took my check and left. Within the first hour of his departure, the AP's received power via POE, but no data. I immediately called and texted him about the issue. He assured me that he was currently going to his next job, but would return the following day (Thursday). The next morning, I texted him at around 8:30 am to confirm he would return that day to correct the cabling issues. I received a reply, that he was indeed planning on returning that day to fix things. At 2:22 pm, I once again texted him to see what the ETA was on returning. His reply was that he was finishing up a job and would text me when he was on the way. At 6:33 pm, I received no calls or texts, so I once again texted him to see if he was indeed still coming. The reply was "I'm heading to pull footage for the cops", whatever that means..... After that text, I never received a call or text again. Fast forward to Sunday, where I had to hire another cabler to come in and fix this guys shotty work. In short, he made several unnecessary holes in my ceiling, cut up and damaged an AP mount kit, and literally mis-wired the RJ-45 end connectors. He literally flipped the pinouts from left to right. In short, clearly, this guy is a jack-leg who doesn't know what he is doing with regards to Cat5 drops, RJ-45, Ethernet, and keystone connectors. He tried to take the "money and run", so I had to put a stop payment on the check.

Now he's saying he didn't mail it because I wrote a bad review and if I want any money at all I have to delete the review. Wonder how many other people he's pulled this with? This man has not kept his word to me so many times I'm losing count.

They demanded we "upgrade" just to keep the service, and jacked up the price by 78% from the old rate. We put up with this until this month, then found several companies with much better deals and service reputations. When I called Hawk they did not offer to match the lower rates, but insulted me instead and told me I had to pay in advance for June PLUS they would not cancel service for 30 days. I would have to pay for this solution because it involved new wires or something, but there was no guarantee that it would work. It seems a bit unfair that I am expected to pay for "experimentation", when they should know how to repair it and to restore the camera to the condition that it was in when they first installed it (with color). Mr. Adrian Reyes wasted no time in taking care of the problem by staying on top of everything by calling a plumbing company Roto Rooter to fix the problem. Mr. Reyes called and texted periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly, which put me at ease. Through it all, my only problem was having to deal with a customer service agent in Oklahoma (I reside in Texas), who kept talking over me, trying to make me UNDERSTAND that I have a leak in the roof. Poor customer service on her part, but that will not deter me from giving Mr. Reyes 5 stars. I recommended CSG to two of my friends. The one that had the system installed is extremely satisfied. The other will have hers installed in August. I am sure she will be satisfied as well. Now, I have a different perspective on "one bad apple spoil the whole bunch". Not true in this case. Just one person acted inappropriately, but Mr. Reyes was quite professional, and maintained his professionalism through it all. I would definitely recommend this company.
