I'm mad at myself for having driven by the plaza Cavallari's is located and never went in. Not only…read moredo they have a pretty large portion of Italian/imported goods, the deli is flanked with fresh meats/prepared foods/ an a sandwich deli. I ordered a classic Italian, service was fast and friendly and honestly the sandwich was so good. It had the right amount of everything an Italian sub should. The half was a good size and filling. They have fridges with single drinks and also a good selection of craft beer. I eyed some elk medallions in the freezer section I may just have to go back and grab tomorrow!

What a disappointment. I'm not sure what happened here…read more I get it. They were busy on Memorial Day Sunday. People are off. They are getting all their stuff together for their bbq. Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

Mei's Supermarket is my favorite Asian market in town by far. Great food, excellent customer…read moreservice, everyone who works there is super nice and the prices are awesome! The ambiance isn't shiny and crazy like some of the other newer Asian markets in town, but if you can look past that, you'll find the cheapest, freshest, highest quality seafood and Asian imports around, plus they have a really awesome bakery with authentic fresh baked Chinese pastries and buns every day, dim sum to go, and an awesome little restaurant in the back with the authentic Chinese dishes and a little boba tea place too. The selection of imported drinks and frozen dumplings is awesome, and they do specials all the time if you buy enough groceries you get a free (I think it's like $50). They haven't been as popular lately cause of the newer Asian markets in town but I've been going here since I was a kid and it's an amazing place that deserves some love. Don't sleep on Mei's Supermarket!

They have a wide variety of products and I could probably stay there all day looking at everything…read more There is also a small food court with a great place called tt crepes house. They have a small menu, but they cook with their heart and you can definitely taste that! Both people behind the counter were very friendly and I felt at home. Would definitely recommend this grocery store and especially the eatery inside!
