There is a mix of food and beverage, vendors, arts, benders health and wellness vendors. Would I really like is how friendly a lot of the vendors are. And that they work together. For example, hoots and Mary bread actually promotes the Sanford cheese stand. And vice versa. While this farmers market is very small, it still provides for the things that I could use at home. They do have a vegetable and fruit spender that has reasonably priced vegetables such as $5, a bowl for potatoes, the tomatillas, onions, squashes, and so much other things. Amount of samples for the fruit so you can try before you buy. They've got a plethora of Chili's to spice up your food. Plus this farmers market is inside of a park next to the fire station and across the street from the police station. So I've never felt more safe going to a farmers market in my life. Definitely one of the farmers markets. I'll be venturing to more frequently.

However, they have truly embraced the times and stepped up to coordinate one of the most seamless order pick ups with far more options than they can normally house in their store location in collaboration with their local farm suppliers. It was a really great way to get access to local food in a time when innovation is most appreciated as is the ability to access fresh food when the normal grocery stores are overwhelmed with visitors. I will definitely continue to support this great local business that has made things easier in a time when many things are harder. Edit: apparently the store front has closed (unrelatedly- they announced this coming change on January 8th due to a failed lease renewal) but the business is still running through their pick up at 8505 Silver Star Rd and online ordering. The system was actually designed prior to these times and just happened to line up perfectly). This family run business is passionate about improving access to locally grown and more organic foods, and they have done an amazing job.

One item they have seasonally is shelled pecans. These are my stepfathers favorite nut and I like to get him two large bags for his birthday and Christmas. They have a coffee tasting area where you can samle several coffee blends and purchase one to go if you like. Staff here are friendly and helpful. The checkout line moves quick even when they are busy and they have more than one checkout clerk unlike Walmart and Winn Dixie. The store is very clean and organized. They also have a small seating area and restroom if you decide to eat-in versus going back to your car or the office. All-in-all, great shopping experience, and it's worth the stop if you have never been.

The cashier was friendly and packed my items neatly in my ALDI reusable shopping bag. While I was paying for my items, my Mom reached to grab the bag. The cashier told my Mom the bag was heavy and that I could carry it. Stubbornly, my Mom lifted the bag out of the cart anyway. The cashier's concern for my Mom was appreciative. My Mom laughed and we all joked about it. By the way, I did take the bag from my Mom as we started to walk away.
