The tellers are usually nice, especially when they're confident in what they're doing. There have been a couple of times where it seemed like someone was still learning, which got a little frustrating, but I assume they may have been new. My biggest complaint is the business hours. Closing at 4:00 every day is really inconvenient for people who work typical hours. It would be much easier if they stayed open later at least one or two days a week.

Convenient location…read more I've heard of shared branching between credit unions but I was skeptical of using the ATM machine. I have done small ATM withdrawals at this location in the past and it processed nicely but I wanted to make a cash deposit and preferred to have a bank teller help me. I am not a member of SAFE CU and they were open until 6:00p (where my bank closes at 5:00p and sometimes their ATM's do not accept deposits). I was assisted by a friendly associate and he asked for my account number. My bank card and CDL was not enough for him to process the transaction. Um, I didn't know it by heart but he waited patiently and was able to help me as soon as I was able to pull up a pdf copy of my bank statement from my phone. I feel good that I am able to use SAFE CU as an option when I am unable to make it to my branch. The extended closing hours help especially when there is only a short window of time between when I get off work and the bank closing time. SAFE CU is acronym for Sacramento Air Force Employees Credit Union. This branch is conveniently located in the Crocker Ranch Safeway shopping plaza. Review #2439

I've been a WFB customer for 18 years. On July 7, 2026, I was very & angrily disappointed by both…read moreWFB customer service and the WFB Credit Card Dept. I noticed on 7-7-2026 that $1217.48 had been removed out of my credit card account WITHOUT my approval or any notice. I immediately called WFB, only to be given incorrect & FALSE information to the whereabouts of my $1217.48. I was told by WFB premier customer service that evening, my overpayment deposits were not deposited. That was a lie (I have my statements to prove deposits on 7-3, of $300, 7-4 of $400 & 7-7 of $500 were posted to my acct). I always carry a negative balance on my credit card acct to pay for purchases throughout the month so that I do NOT carry an interest balance. I made an appointment with my banker on Sat, July 11, 2026 (Mr. Darby Ruano) to locate who and why $1217.48 were taken out of my credit card acct. He did not know & told me that he was not familiar with the Credit Card dept. I ESCALATED my concern to the WFB EXECUTIVE department and was referred to "Johnie" in the Executive branch.She was finally able to determine that my $1217.48 removal was done on 7-7-2026 WITHOUT my approval or knowledge. She stated a check will be issued and I should receive it in 7-14 business days. Her only reason for the unauthorized removal of my negative Credit Card balance was due to their "AUTOMATIVE credit on large negative balances". That is a ridiculous answer since I ALWAYS CARRIED a negative balance since I had this credit card acct of 5 years. Too many incompetent WFB customer service employees who did not know & only only gave me "lip service" answers, which were ALL INCORRECT. I left so disappointed in my 4001 Woodcreek Oaks banker, Darby Ruano, whom I've dealt with so many years. After my Sat, 7-11-2026, personal appointment with Darby, he promised that he would try to determine who & why someone took out my $1217.48. He PROMISED me he would call me the following Monday morning on 7-13-2026. HE DID NOT. I left Darby both a voice & text message to contact me ASAP. no response Tuesday morning. I left Darby another message on Tuesday, 7-14-2026. He texted me stating he was "terribly busy" and would CALL ME AT THE END OF THE BUSINESS DAY, TUES 7-14-2026. He never did. I left Darby both voice and test messages on Wed, 7-15, Thurs, 7-16 & Friday 7-17, 2026 WITHOUT A SINGLE RESPONSE or even a simple reply. Total & complete poor customer service to a WFB customer of 18 + years with 7 accounts. I am now looking for another banking institution since my poor treatment. And when you can sit down, handle banking stuff, and drink legitimately good coffee, it makes the whole experience way better. That said... can we please get the nitro situation sorted? Sheesh. It feels like it's always either out or not quite right. Still, hard to complain too much when you're getting solid coffee in a banking environment that doesn't feel soul-sucking. More of this. Just fix the nitro.
