A class action one so I thought this place was going to be packed because everybody gets disrespected at Walmart, you feel me? Anyway, they close around 8:00 p.m. if I remember correctly. I called at 7:30 or so and asked if they would be able to help me out with my big baller check. They said sure and asked how much it was. That's when I got nervous. A lot of people and or check cashing spots aren't used to people that handle this amount of money like myself. I let her know that it was about $21 and change and she said oh okay yeah come on in. The relief I felt was similar to the time I left the Jerry Springer show studio after finding out that the baby was my best friends instead of mine. That is probably one of the best moments of my life. Anyway, going back to the phone call. I was greeted with the angelic welcoming warm voice of a young lady named Maria. She told me her name and I thought it was talking to Aaliyah. She really rocked the boat when she told me that the check amount wasn't anything but a number I'm just kidding none of that happened but she was very professional and welcoming over the phone. So I showed up 45 seconds later drunk as hell jk again but yeah it was the smoothest a check cashing transaction has ever went. She was fast friendly and professional. She double checked the money I gave her and the pesos she gave me. She was very polite and not once made me feel like she was in a hurry to get the line down behind me. You do not need to lecture your customers who do not break the law, tell them the first time, and deny it. And they will learn. The younger lady was helping someone else. She goes "come" and does a hand motion, like im a dog. I hand her my check and ID and she says to me, "I cant cash it, its already signed." I said, Why was that never an issue the other times Ive been here? Or the billions of times Ive done that at any bank? She says "Because thats how it is here and whoever helped you before Ill find out and report them to the manager. But just this ONCE I will cash it." I said thank you I appreciate it, I really need it. She takes a deep sigh and throws my ID into the slot, throws the money, and walks away to eat or take a shit or whatever her problem was. The younger lady was now alone and saw the look on my face and said sorry. Rudest lady ever! The other ladies are very kind and professional. If it is a policy, I should have been told before. But there was no need for being so rude and nasty, furthermore, in 32 years I have never experienced that rule ANYWHERE. The manager has replied to my comment before, I hope he does so now. Please fire a person who tries to go against her own co workers. Thats just nasty. Thank you.
