I think in terms of convenience then yea they are good but their rates are not the best out there. As of today 6.5.24 their Euro rate is 1.17, plus exhange fees. I've been able to find two other places LA Currency Exchange (1.12) and Continental Exchange (1.11) for the same euro with no added fees. I went with Continental and was able to get 1,200 euros for $1332. The same at this location would of cost me $1,414.12...Thats an extra $82.12 If you are in a rush and need exchange fast then yea this is your place but if you got time I recommend shopping around. read more

I arrived a few minutes after opening time of 10:00 am. Sign said "closed". Later I found out that the employee had stepped away for a work related task. I waited for almost 30 minutes thinking that the employee would only step away for a few minutes. I wish there would be better communication for example "Be back at 10:30" so that myself and the other customer weren't both idly waiting for half an hour. Once employee return, service was prompt and courteous. So review was only based on actual transaction service and not the lack of communication at the beginning. read more

Today was a horrible experience, 11/8. When I arrived at 12:10, the lady in charge was taking a break. I waited for her before 12:30, but she was on the phone the entire time and had no plan to hang up. Despite being on the line for 10-15 minutes, even though, there was no line. She was not friendly or professional enough to inform the customer that she was on an important call or even acknowledge the customer's presence. Instead, she accused me of taking a picture of her, which I just wanted to take a picture of the company's logo or name. Besides, there is no sign that pictures are not allowed. I ended up leaving at 12:40 for nothing since she was on the phone the whole time. I guess this company needs to improve its customer service training instead of letting customers wait and attend to phone calls. If she's busy on the phone whether business or personal, customers will be as well. Customers don't want our time to be wasted, just like her. read more

Located in the Citadel outlet shopping center where parking on a Saturday evening was a pain. The discount center is building a new multi level parking structure which should improve this. This place beats going to the bank. Currency exchange International charges normally a $5.00 fee up to $500.00 money exchanged but I utilized the yelp check in and saved 50%. The bank wanted to charge $7.50 just to bring in Euros and had additional fees with a worse exchange rate. The gal in customer service was friendly and accommodating. They are a bait and switch scam. Their website clearly states you can purchase currency with a credit card, yet says nothing about a 3% "convenience fee" for using a credit card. So you order your currency. Then, they send you an email telling you your currency has arrived. The email has the exact same wording which is on their website with some micro print added stating there is an additional fee to use a credit card. So when you go to pick up your currency, sans cash to pay for it, they expect you to pay this additional "3% convenience fee." Give me a break. I mean really, how greedy can you get. No thanks. I'll get my currency from someone who has an honest website, better exchange rates, who doesn't charge a flat fee and an additional "3% convenience fee" which is purposefully omitted from their website. Great customer services! I need to get some Israeli Shekels so I used the Reserve Currency form on their website, since I figured they probably wouldn't have that currency on hand. I explained that I'd like to exchange "x" amount of USD for Israeli Shekels. With in 10mins I got a response from Crystal saying that she would place the order for the appropriate amount of Israeli Shekels and informed me that they'd be ready for pick up the next day. Sure enough the next day Crystal called me to let me know the Israeli Shekels were ready for pick up even a couple hours earlier than expected. I was very pleased with the speed of service. If you park by the Starbucks its the nearest entrance as the currency exchange is located in front of the food court on the Panda Express side. Something stupid a worker said was, oooh your husband surprised you with this trip,"can I borrow him" I was too excited for the trip as we were leaving in a few hours, that I completely disregarded the stupid comment and went on my married way. It was a joke, but a very inappropriate one. During normal circumstances, I might have reached over the counter and strangled her lol jk jk its just a joke, an actual funny one. I haven't used their service but I called to get a quote because I have a decent amount of CAD to sell. Seems like their rate is pretty bad compared to others. They were giving 0.7547 for 1 CAD. Here is the breakdown for the ones I've compared so far. Exchanged some US for Chinese Yuan and it was a breeze. Very friendly customer service and the exchange rate is reasonable especially when you check in on Yelp. The fee is $5 for what I remember. What wasn't that simple was actually finding the place. When you go to the mall and you see one of the store directories it will say that it is by the Disney store. It isn't and calling customer service wasn't that helpful for me either. You can find it in the mall's customer service room that is by the bathrooms. Fairly central to all the stores. read more
