I ordered an engine from M & J Auto recycling. The engine had a 90 day warranty. M & J never asked…read moreme for a vin# to match the correct engine to the engine that I needed. My mechanic told me that it was the wrong engine. Keith from M & J requested pictures of the engine that was sent with a picture of my engine side by side as proof that it was the wrong one. After seeing that it was the wrong engine, M & J told me that they would refund the price of the engine, but not the shipping, which was unfair since the company sent the wrong engine. Last week M & J said they would send a freight truck to pick up the engine so that I could get my refund, but I found out from M & J today that they have not sent the freight truck, which leads me to believe that they have no intentions of refunding me the money paid for the product. Give me a full refund on the money I paid for the engine since it was their mistake. Why should I have to pay for their mistake? They have nothing on their website that discusses shipping issues.

I politely told them that the engine was in poor condition. Guy responded "Yep no problem. Bring it in". I drive it in on a Saturday morning and one of the staff comes out to look at my car. He angrily told me " what are you trying to do to me? I can't resell this." He acted like I was trying to scam him when I had been nothing but honest upfront on the phone. I took it over to another dealership, $2000 check for trade. Then a week later I called to ask her if they have any used Siennas in the 10 to 15 range. The guy acted like I was wasting his time and told me "nothing in that range is even drivable." I've spoken to half a dozen other dealers, who were easily more helpful with my request. My impression is that these people only want your money and they will take one look at you and decide if you are worth their time. Snobs to the core.
