I am recovering from a major surgery and sitting for several hours to wait would be painful and exhausting. I arrived early (11:45) in case any paperwork needed to be done. At 2:45pm a staff member approached me, I thought my car was done, I was wrong. He was giving me an update that there was still one car in front of me. I have been here for 3 1/2 hours as I write this and my car still hasn't been started. They said nothing about being behind when I checked in at 11:45, or I would have rescheduled as I had other appointments this afternoon which I am now missing. I would have left but I was under the impression they were working on my car while I sat here. Incredibly unprofessional with no basic respect or courtesy for their customers. This was my first and LAST time using a pep boys. Edited to add, changing from 1 to 5 stars for their honestly after evaluating, they confirmed that my brakes are not critical as my dealership told me, still perfectly safe to drive. They could have lied to make more money by replacing them but that still would have had to be done another day.

Shelly and Candy always go out of their way to get me the parts i need and are always very welcoming and professional when i visit. Now, apparently because of what the corporate geniuses at advanced have decided, my perks bucks account has been closed, with $60 available to me! As far as Im concerned Advanced has stolen $60 from me and excluded me from a program thats available to everyone else Without even asking me!!!! But, apparently im not the only one. A quick check of Reddit will show you they do it to everyone that actually buys autoparts and uses perk bucks regularly! Very bad business and shady as hell. As soon as Shelly and Candy make their way to a more reputable business, then my money will too. Thanks for picking up my Honda Ridgeline 7 days after the 24th of May for a follow-up on the 1st of June 2026. I'm still experiencing steering issues with the installation and underbody noises. I won't be returning for any future mechanical services due to the inconvenience of this issue. Yes, in the past, they did do a superb job, but it's time to move on after this SNAFU. Called in last minute on NYE, needing help with removing a socket that another shop got stuck on…read morethe lugs nuts of one of my wheels. Spoke to the brilliant Ms Tiffany who was very kind and willing to assist. I pulled up and Cody and Gabe, got the socket and lug nuts extracted with in 30 minutes with no BS, felt like a couple big bros helping me out. Decided to buy some new tires from them, Tiffany gave me an immediate quote, called in for the tires and they got me in and out. Shout to the gentleman with the glasses and anyone else on team that was part of the job. From what I experienced, the JP Auto Team really gives a damn about their customers and just cares about people general. Knowledgeable mechanics, Fair price and amazing hard working crew with the hospitality that really makes me love living in the South. If have car problems that can't solve this is where I will bring my business while I'm stationed here in GA.
