Easy to get to, and located near a couple of other parts stores if you don't find what you need. Which I didn't. I needed a car heater, the ones you plug into the dash. Wandered with no luck. Asked for help, and they were super helpful, but they couldn't find it either, probably because things are disorganized. We looked in 3 or 4 places where they might have been. I might be back for other things, that I know they have, but I am leaning toward the two other parts stores right across the street. read more

My gripe with auto parts stores is that I usually have to wait to get anyone's attention. Not true this morning. Granted it was a Sunday morning, but I was just happy to be greeted right away. Added bonus - it was a friendly, competent female that waited on me. I had 2 things on my list - one which she had to order for me - the other she walked me over to the wiper blade aisle and pointed to what my choices were. I went with her suggestion, then realized I wanted one more thing. She put in the my order while I browsed through the car seat covers - and quickly found what I wanted. She rang me up, told me when my order would arrive, and then offered to install the wiper blades for me. I took her up on her offer and she expertly installed them in less than a minute. A great experience. So glad I picked this store and not the Auto Zone across the street as I doubt it could have been any better! read more

Good place to get auto supplies. The staff has always been helpful and knowledgeable. They tested my battery in frigid weather and made helpful recommendations. Recently in 2020, I've noticed they removed the parts catalogs that identified which oil filter you needed. Now you have to wait in line to have them look it up. This location would be perfect to set up rental garages for people to work on their cars, if they bought out the other businesses. One of 3 auto stores in the same area, lol, but then there's also 2 Dollar -type stores almost next to each other nearby, so there's that! read more

I gotta give it up for AAP. Trust me when I tell you that sending Grandma here will please her. She will have a friendly individual walk outside and test her vehicle battery. Show her 3 prices or quality options of batteries. Then they will change her battery for her, and thank her for her business. This is the customer service with a smile that she remembers. Military discount. Coupons. Email coupons. FREE tool rental. Your vehicles info stored in the store computer, and online for you. All this.... and free battery testing, installation, wiper replacements, diagnostics, and more. I admit I have used many but not all the services. I do regret that there is not ONE universal network to share. If you see a part online that is available at another location not your own, you may be asked to re-input your data at this location also. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The have general auto knowledge, and store merchandise familiarity. Most visits are walk in. Tell them your vehicle info, ad the part you need. They offer good, better, best quality. Most will know of a special and tune you into a promotion("add $2 to qualify for a 20% discount"). Returns could not be easer. Mechanics always buy more than they might need, because you never know what you'll find when you get it apart. Just keep your receipt for the easiest process. Lots of specialty tools to rent for FREE. You pay for the tool as if you are buying it. You get a full refund after you return the tool set, clean and in tact. No daily or hourly rate. Family members that call me with an automotive question, I always send to AAP for a free diagnostic test, and the codes. They can tell you what the check engine codes mean. "Gas cap is not tight" Yes, that is more common than you think. Google your code before just handing it to anyone that is going to say PAY ME! read more

I bought some auto parts on line through Advance Auto Parts for In-Store pickup. I went to the store to pick them up. The gentleman that helped me noticed that my order didn't make sense. I had no idea that I needed rotors and brake pads on the front, brake shoes and drums on the back. I had not bought that at all! His name was Tommy! He was wonderful. He started questioning what the problem was - looked up my car on line and when he couldn't find the answers he needed this young man went out to the parking lot - laid down on the pavement and slid under the back of my car to see what it really was that I needed. He then helped me return the wrong parts and purchase the new one. And realizing that he couldn't give me the same on-line price he gave me a 7% discount in the store. I am forever grateful that he did this as I was taking the parts to a mechanic the next day and had I handed him the wrong parts it would have delayed the whole process. Decided to get a wiper blade after mine malfunctioned. I thought I'd at least better get one since it was raining and the call was for snow. I walked through the door and was immediately greeted and offered help. I explained what I needed and the clerk there knew right away, didn't hesitate to have another clerk put my new wipers on (even in the pouring, cold rain), and was super friendly and professional. I've always had great customer service from them. With other auto parts stores as choices, I go to them first and will encourage others to do so. read more

Came with my mother to get a headlight installed and was told they aren't allowed. I've had it done before so I know they do. The guy was rude and looked like he didn't want to help anyone. Went across the street to autozone and they gladly helped! read more
