I went here to get new wiper blades and this by far is my favorite Advance Store now! Jackie was very sweet and helpful! She told me about the wiper warranty for $3.00 per blade that I did add and she informed me about the $15 mail in rebate for the Bosch Focus Blades. Stay away from this location. This location sold me a battery with a hole in the top. I didn't notice until I got home, so it cost me an hour of time. Plus, I got acid on my clothes and have an acid burn on my arm. I think when I spend over $200 on a battery, I should be able to expect one that isn't leaking. So, I now have an acid burn and a set of clothes that are likely ruined. read more

Shoutout to these guys; they offer GREAT service and know their products. They referred me to a tire compressor for my mom that worked even better my own, and I made a point to stop there on the way to the barber a few months later to pick up one of those bumper guard/license plate frames. A bit concerned that the clerk that helped me had a fully loaded gun and a dagger on his holster. I am all for employee safety but I felt uncomfortable, unwelcome and fearful buying washer blades. Trying to support brick and mortar stores but this store has a very intimidating vibe. Can't comment on the product because I was taken back so much with the team working there. Was having a really bad day. Issue on top of issues. Then my battery died to top all off. Firestone tried to rip me off with some used battery that was not comparable to what I had before. I called Mike at the Spring Cypress Rd location and he explained the difference in what Firestone was trying to sell me. My wife and I dumped the sale at Firestone and came to see Mike. Mike's cheerful attitude and service brightened my bad day. We walked out with a better battery than what we had before. I just really wanted someone to be honest and upfront with me with the kind of battery I wanted. Mike, thank you for explaining the difference and helping us make the decision. I was stuck in a jam this Sunday afternoon with a dying battery and no tools to change it myself. I was greeted by Alonso when I entered the store and he located the proper battery and even installed it for me! Fast, friendly and efficient! The other employee, a female, chatted with my husband while he waited inside during the install. They were a great example for their company and have definitely earned my future business. After checking reviews on the local auto parts stores in the area I decided to go to this location of Advance for a new battery for my truck. I found the service I received top notch. They showed me my options and made the sale. It was installed on the truck within 15 minutes by a very capable elderly gentleman ( I'm terrible with names so I can't remember.) Very impressed with the service here on recent visit. The kid that helped me out was honest and knowledgeable. Was having obvious battery issues. He ran a free test and confirmed there was a problem, but before pushing a new battery, he had me try a few things to make sure. When those didn't work, I got a new battery and he installed it, showing me a few tips along the way if I ever wanted to do it myself. A few other customers came and went through all this and the staff seemed to do well juggling them all. read more

I got zero help at this location. I walked in and there was nobody to be found. I had to call out several times before I could get anyone to appear. There were no other customers in the store. I asked to have a diagnostic run on my car and then had to wait while the only person I found had to hunt up another salesperson to man the front of the store. We then went out and they couldn't get the code reader to work on my car. Their only suggestion: go to a dealership and pay for one. I left feeling very frustrated. It was obvious by their tones and jokes that they just didn't want to help I took my car straight home and my husband took it to Auto Zone. The salesperson there admitted that they left that other store just for that reason. Then they ran the diagnostic, had the same trouble with the reader and immediately told my husband I had a burned out fuse. $4 for a fuse later, the diagnostic ran perfectly. They were able to diagnose the problem and explain the part that needed to be replaced. It was a total of $36 for the fuse and new part. Advance Auto Parts wanted me to go spend $100 just for a diagnostic because they didn't feel like dealing with me. read more

This was the worst customer service I've ever received at any auto parts store, I recently purchased a vehicle and didn't know all the details about my newly purchased vehicle, but I needed a few parts. As this employee was assisting me he began to get more and more annoyed with me in under 2 minutes of helping me, then he even yells oh my GOD for everyone in the store to hear while my back was turned. At this point I no longer wanted to do business at this store but it was late and I really needed the parts so I check out and the employee hands me the receipt and says Aight, I held my temper and simply told them to have a good evening. Very helpful counter people, always friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure I have what I need. Some auto parts stores have counter people that treat women as if they don't know anything about cars, and talk down to us, but this auto zone has never done that. In fact they have always showed me respect, and ask sessions about what project in working on. Because, yes there are fine in picking up something for my husband, but I'm just as often doing the work myself. It's good to have a party's store I can trust. read more

NO EMOLOYEE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON IN HERE, yesterday morning I called to place an order for some parts I needed, I was told I needed to come in and pay for parts ahead of time because it was a special order and that they needed to get it from their warehouse and that it will be at their store at 3p.m . I tell them I will be there in 10 minutes to pay. When I arrive, I give them my info and my quote wasn't even saved so I they had to put all my/car information in again. Then, they proceed to tell me neither of the parts will be get to the store until the next day around 2p.m (how do they get that big of a mix up within 20 minutes of checking) I proceed to order the parts because no other parts dealer had what I need. The lady behind the counter tells me to contact that store if no one has contacted me about my parts by 2pm. 2pm passed so I called the store and they tell me now that one of my parts is there but the other will not be there until 4:45pm. Very unprofessional and poor service. How do these people know exactly what time a part will be there? read more
