Coming back from visiting my Dad in Lakewood, we decided to check out the O' Reilly's on Emerson. They had it in the front window. I like O'Reilly's, so I ask them if they have a rewards program. The man who waited on me, signed me right up. The other guy talked to us about the problems Magnums start having at 18500.00 miles and more. He told us about a few Diagnostic/repair places we could go to check the engine code that keeps lighting up. Both employees were impressive, more so than my usual store AZ. From knowledgeable sales people to friendly and pleasant cashiers I really enjoy dealing with them when my car is need of such simple things as windshield wipers to oil filters. Today was Customer appreciation day which I was truly amazed by. Complimentary food and drink was provided to anyone who does business with them or just a regular joe like myself who gets parts from time to time. I was helped by a woman whose appearance did not suggest that she was knowledgeable in the automotive mechanics. I told her the full details as explained above and her overall assessment and explanation was "Because of the drop in temperature, this problem may have occurred! She also went on to say that there may be a dead cell in the battery also. She did run the system check with the scan tool and I would assume that all other related components, starter, alternator and of course the battery, where in their proper working range. I decided to return the vehicle to the dealer and have them diagnose and repair this problem.

Was looking for an engine air filter (I checked online to make sure it was in stock before I made the trip...) and wouldn't you know they didn't have it for some reason. The very nice cashier apologized for the website mixup and called another store just down the road (also on Atlantic Blvd, closer to town) and made sure they had one being put behind the counter for me to pick up. Would have been a better experience in general if the website accurately reflected stock in stores but, who knows, maybe the guy in front of me bought it right before I got there!

I figured a fuse was blown since both lights rarely go out together. I went to a competitor that was close to my house to get the right fuses. The employees couldn't answer any questions and weren't really helpful. When I figured out the fuse wasn't the issue, I then went after new bulbs. I had the manual, I can read, I can follow instructions, but I could not get the headlight bulbs out. I drove to Napa, told the guy I needed bulbs but couldn't get them out. The employee found my bulbs and then came outside and helped me remove the bulbs. Whoever changed them last time placed them in slightly off so the clip holding the bulb assembly in place was stuck. I never would have been able to get them out and the Napa employee was able to do it after about 10 minutes of trying. He replaced the bulbs, the headlights worked, and I went on my merry way. I was so impressed by how nice and helpful the employee was that I spoke to his manager a few days later to relay the great service I received.
