Went to S&S early on a Saturday morning to get my exhaust done on my Challenger. My car is a V8 but was super quiet and I wanted it to have that muscle car rumble. S&S took my baby and gave her everything I was looking. Service took a few hours because it's first come first serve. Waiting in the lobby was comfy and member from my car club waited also. My husband's truck dual exhaust pipe was resting on the frame cross member, making a knocking noise and stuck out from under the back bumper uneven. S&S did a great job repositioning & re-welded the pipe and the exhaust tips to even everything up. It looks fantastic and my husband is very happy with the results. Friendly team and willing to take on smaller custom jobs, but for the price they should have better welders and be using a TIG setup. The weld quality and materials used are very poor, autozone quality pipe. I am a mechanical engineer and have done a fair bit of welding myself and would have saved the 325$ if I had known how the headers would turn out. Customer Service was great at the desk, phone and John worked on my exhaust and made a beautiful custom Y pipe design. Despite being very busy, he would answer any question to great extent. My 2007 Toyota Prius was parked in the Marriott lot overnight, close to the front door and under a light. Thieves came and sawed off my catalytic converter so that, when I started my car the next morning, there was a huge roar. I thought it might be a muffler problem but S&S knew right away what had happened. They had my part in stock, put the car on the rack as soon as we drove in, and had the repair completed in less than 2 hours. S&S explained that the value of my catalytic converter was $1500 due to the rare earth minerals inside and that there was a 'wave' of thefts occurring in the Jacksonville area. Want to appreciate Ian for trying everything to get my motorcycle muffler back together. He ensured the pipe adapter needed fit and understood what I was trying to extend my bike muffler. I hate car issues. So I was near tears when my car got stuck in reverse and I was forced to turn it off late Friday night. Of course, after doing that it wouldn't turn back on. Saturday morning, I Googled as much as I could trying to figure out how much it would cost me and started calling around to local shops. While I was prepared for a huge cost, I was a little dumbfounded that no one seemed to know how to handle my issue? Not sure if that's standard in Jacksonville, but every place I called wanted me to have it towed and then they would give me an estimate IF they could fix it? Most said they had no clue of the issue? A friend I hadn't talk to in months, randomly calls and recommends this place. I call up and a friendly voice answers with noise in the background. (Good sign to be busy on a Saturday afternoon.) He says that he won't know for sure the issue but it's one of 3 things and gives me an estimate for all three over the phone. Though they are closed Sunday, I went ahead and had it towed that afternoon and told they would call when it was ready. Monday morning (before 11a) I'm given a call that the work on my car is complete (broken shifting cable) and the final amount. (I called back around to the people I initially called about the issue and they were quoting as much as $300 more.) I get there after 4pm and this place is still extremely busy. The owner Ian was so helpful. And almost 3 months later still no issues with the car. Cheap price, great service, and knowledgeable staff. I hope to never have to come back. Dropped my car off here for rattle underneath car and they said it was my cats. I previously mentioned that was the main issue the first time I dropped it off but they said they were fine. Car overheated two days later and had to bring it back for them to cut them off. Now the car rattles like hell and sounds terrible. Says they can't do anything about it after spending close to 2k. I thought they were the "exhaust experts". I would appreciate it if they took time to fix it and do it right. No car should rattle like this, and if so, it should be professionally fixed. I came in with my '21 Civic Type R with a bent exhaust the day before I needed to make a long drive back to Tennessee and they fit me in with no issues even extending past closing to make sure everything was good before I left. I came in with my car not wanting to go into first gear too, I'm not sure if they fixed it or if it just decided to start working but if they did, that's a really nice gesture! Amazing customer service! I had catalytic converters repaired here and they started having issues within the one year warranty period. I was out of state when the problem reoccurred and called them. I spoke with Patrick throughout the entire process. He was extremely understanding and went out of his way to try to help me get the problem resolved. Unfortunately with me being in California, the laws are more strict, I was unable to get the repairs done there through the warranty. I called and spoke to Patrick once again and informed him what was going on. Again he was extremely kind and understanding and assured me that they would resolve the problem once I returned to FL at the end of the month.
