Will never go to this store again. Came in to have my check engine light read, Michael read it for me but before reading it gave me all the run around how it's probably bad gas. He was wrong, the codes came out as something else (cylinder 2 issues). I go back in, order a battery online. I go back to Michael who started to look at my order but told me it didn't pull up in his system, at this point I was already frustrated with him so I asked to speak with another associate at the store. When I went to the other associate Michael came around behind me and slammed the battery down (scaring me half to death). It was so obvious he did it on purpose even the other associate said that it was rude of him. Michael I hope you see this and do better. read more

I visited this Advance Auto on Friday, Jan 7th. Ambar, the Manager was pleasant and friendly in helping me find the right Oil Filter Wrench for my Jeep. He was knowledgeable enough to even show me how to find the right Oil Filter for next time in order to save time and money. I appreciate people who are casual and non-serious in sales interactions. It shows sincerity, authenticity and a true intention to assist the customer. Best service ever! Went in to get a new battery and they ended up swapping it out for me and honoring a warranty I didn't even know I had. I really know nothing about batteries or cars in general but they didn't take advantage of that. Everyone in there was pleasant and seemed happy to be there. read more

My motorcycle blew a coolant hose late one evening. Ambar was very helpful and got a hose that would work for my motorcycle. I ended up taking my bike apart in the parking lot and replaced the hose. Ambar made sure I was good before he left. I would use this place more but I don't head this way often. read more

They had the car battery I needed and installed it in 10 minutes. They tested the current battery and showed me it had limited life left, which confirmed my suspicion I needed a jump start to get there. So nice and so efficient and I was so grateful. read more

I went in to get my battery checked after getting a jumpstart because my car wasn't turning on. When the employee checked my battery, he told me that there was nothing wrong with it. Today I went to Firestone to get my car checked and they told me the battery was dead completely. I wouldn't necessarily trust this specific store with battery checks as it appears some employees don't understand how to properly check it. read more

I have always had great service at AAP. Purchase all my car parts here. This is the 1st time I had terrible customer service. My car battery just up and died when my wife was out shopping. She had the car jumped and I went straight to AAP to get a new battery. I brought my receipt because the battery was under warranty. I told worker Thomas what happened and showed him my receipt. He came out to the car with some machine to test the battery. He made me turn the car on and off and said to me nothing is wrong with the battery. A female worker that also looked at the machine said that the battery is bad and I should get a new battery. Well they both went in and Thomas went to the Manager. Next thing I know Thomas said he talked to the manager and wouldn't give me a new battery because their machine said I don't need one. I asked "So I have to drive around and wait for this one to die again and then come back". Thomas said Yes. He could charge it but it would take an hour and void the warranty. I was throughly confused and left. I went to my mechanic and he tested it and said yep battery is bad. Well I went home turned off the car and YEP it died. Called State Farm who came out and jumped the car. I went straight back to AAP. Thomas was there and asked what I was doing back. I said "The battery died". He tells me that is impossible and pawns me off to another worker John. I explain to John the story. He comes out with the machine and looks at the battery again. In less that a minute he says that the battery is Definitely bad. He tells me this battery has a bad cell in it and needs to be switched out. He goes inside to get a replacement battery and I follow him. While he is looking for the correct one for my car Thomas tells him to give me a Silver Battery. This is when I get really mad. I paid for a Gold Battery and should receive an exact replacement not a cheaper model. I tell John I have a Gold Battery in my car and grabs a Gold one. He brings it out to my car and replaces the bad one for the new one. I didn't expect him to do that. I told him I can change it and he said he has it. Took him 10 minutes. I thanked him so much for be professional and courteous. John is a great employee and super helpful. Wasted my time dealing with Thomas that didn't want to be bothered. I will still shop at AAP but steer clear of a lazy employee. read more
