Would never recommend this location. I called March 10, 2025 around 2:13pm to ask about warranty for a part and the White guy who answered the phone had a comprehension problem and ignored my simple question TWICE and called me a "n*gger" before hanging up the phone!!! So I called back after 10 mins hoping someone else would answer so I can ask to speak to a manager and he answers so I say "oh its you, im good" and hang up.....so he starts playing on my phone calling back repeatedly back to back after I answer and he say nothing, so I call back and he sarcastically say "how can I help you, I have your location and phone number" So I pulled up and filmed him to let him know I will be reporting him to the higher ups and posting him online for being racist and harassing me through the telephone and abusing his power as an employee at advance auto...he proceeds to call the police and told them I wont leave the store and that im "harassing him" when I have it all on video of me telling him im leaving and I yelled so the police could here im leaving and that he only called them because im exposing him harassing me. This is narcissistic behavior and he should be fired!!!!!! read more

My mom needed new windshield wipers and windshield fluid in her truck. She is handicapped and a senior. We went to Advanced Auto parts and Cole, Ashley and Brandon were super awesome!!! They helped put on the wiper blades and filled up her wiper fluid. The best customer service in Lakeland!!!! read more

I came to AAP because my car wouldn't start. I knew if I brought in my battery, they could help determine what was wrong with it. I came in later in the day, and despite the store being slower, the staff was more than happy to help! I was immediately greeted with a welcome, and they put the battery on the charger to determine the issue. Heather helped us and was super nice and personable. She even offered us chairs from the back storage area while we were waiting for the battery to charge! read more

Just left the South Florida Avenue store in Lakeland and the staff could not have been better. They helped me pick out the correct windshield wipers, and the manager, Tom, offered to install them for me and did it in the pouring rain. Looks big in the outside but is quite small inside. There isn't a whole lot of selection to browse. Literally half their inventory is behind he counter. They don't do Amazon price matching. I wanted a cabin air filter but they only had one and the guy had to look it up on the computer. The one item he had was over $40! I scanned it with amazon and it was about half that. Dude seemed really annoyed when I asked about amazon. Sucks if i cost him a commission but I'm. It spending double if a better product is available on amazon prime. Aside from all this. The place is just kinda ugly looking as far as the lighting. Selection is small. The best thing I can say about this place is that the Location is at least good. read more

0 stars. The manager is extremely rude. I took a battery there and they tested it and told me the battery was good and it needed to be charged. I left it to be charged and when I went back to pick it up then the manager told me that the battery was no good and did not charge. I asked him why did the worker there tell me before that the battery was good and all I needed to do was to be charged and all he would respond as I can't speak of that and then he walked off. it leads me to believe that when they went and charge the battery they did something wrong and messed up the battery. even when the manager went to test the battery and show me he hooked the positive cable up to the negative terminal and the negative cable up to the positive terminal and I had to tell him he had them backwards. read more

About 2 years ago my girlfriend's battery died. I managed to get it jumped and off to Advance she went (mainly because they change batteries for free and on a moment's notice). $150 or so later it was changed and off she went until a short while ago when the battery died. Oh well, another $150 down the flusher, or so I thought. Went to the store without the original receipt (who knows where that went) and the counter person did a quick scan of the battery and stated it was sold by them. Not only that, it appears we were within the 2 year period during which the battery should not fail in any respect. A test showed a dead cell or two and the battery was duly replaced. For $0. No pro-rata garbage, not $50 core fee, etc. $0 out the door. They even admitted sometimes batteries do go bad for no good reason so they'd change it.
