The first thing that I noticed (that I thought was really crazy) was a sign that said that you could not do any type of car repair work in the parking lot. This was a real bummer for me b/c a lot of times I may go for something minor like changing a head light or battery, however being the girlie girl that I am, I usually ask one of the staff members to do it for me, so when I saw this sign I have to say that I was a little disappointed. On top of that, they didn't have what I needed anyway. Guess I won't be coming back here anytime soon! **On the flip side, my husband did bring it to my attention that the store was pretty clean inside and that the service was fast.... So I guess that is a plus, but I still don't think that is enough for me to add another star! read more

I needed some new windshield wiper blades for my car and instead of going to my dealer so they can over charge me, I stopped here. The older gentleman that assisted me was such a helpful and friendly person. He looked up the style I needed and made a few suggestions. He even took the time to print out the model of the blades I would need for the next time I needed replacements. While I was waiting, I noticed how several people came in and required assistance and the employees greeted each of them and let them know they would be with them after they finished with the customer ahead of them. After I made my purchase, the employee walked me outside and put the blades on my car for me. Wonderful customer service!! read more

Good help is extremely hard to find! That was made super obvious as I returned to this location with a dead battery. The battery in question was replaced 2 weeks ago by Carlos the store manager who was not in today! I was advised that the battery needed to recharged and when I requested an alternator test the super swift young man advised that I would have to remove the alternator and bring it into the store for that to be completed! Now I'm no auto mechanic but that was the dddddduuummmbbbeeessstttt thing I have ever heard!!!!! Despite knowing that was an absurd statement, where on the huge sign on the store window does it advise of such a thing!!!!??????? Gggggooood Grief, Advanced Auto Parts is a joke!!! read more

This was my second trip here. Really clean and professional on the inside. Both times I received great service. Yesterday I went to get my battery checked out. Ended up needing a new battery, which sucked, but they didn't try selling me the most expensive battery. The time before i came here i needed some new windshield wipers and they installed those for me too! Usually i do my own work but it was snowing out. Don't judge me, I'm from San Diego! The building is kind of tucked away in a strip mall. I don't think there are any signs for it on the roadway but it is in the same strip mall as TJ Maxx. read more

Bad experience - Unhelpful/apathetic manager. Two other store employees were friendly and offered decent assistance, but left store with headache due to blatant pricing and service miscommunication from Carlos. I'd recommend this store if you need a pack of gum or maybe a snickers bar, but for car parts I would look elsewhere. read more

Had a new battery bought on 2-2017 and it manufactured/delivered on it 1-17 with 2 year free replacement warranty. I have my Lexus broke down along the road and pulled defective battery out as it has direct short and would not charge. Took it to Advance 1 mile away from where I live and black man said I did not buy it there and would not replace it. He woke up his black manager that came out with blood shot eyes and he would not replace it with out a receipt from his store. I did have receipt and date from when repair shop replace battery but they refused to replace under free replace warranty on battery. Went and bought new battery at Walmart with better warranty. I deployed 3 times over seas and also retire previously ASE Master Truck Technician and these low life's they hire and with no customer service will never get my business again. I will never go here again. After going here for years & having a commercial account with them. I was disheartened to know that my Dad (who is in a wheelchair, and can't walk) had a dead battery. He rolled into Advanced to ask them to help him with the battery since he can't reach it to put it in. The gentleman behind the counter said of course but I have to check with the manager. The manager came back and said no can't do it because it was one store front over and not directly in front of Advanced. He proceeded to call corporate where they said their policy is one block is all their insurance overs. However he was only one store away.... the manager on duty was just rude and didn't wanna help a paraplegic out. Since this incident we have taken our business elsewhere. read more

I love shopping there! great customer service and friendly smile was the approach. My favorite was when this girl Sasha came out and install my wiper blade and check my battery. While she was testing my battery she was explaining what she was doing every step off the way, then she saw that my washer fluid was low, we went in got some washer fluid and she came back outside with me to make sure I pour in just enough. She is so helpful and so are the other that work there. After that day i made that store my home store to shop, I love advance auto parts . It's as good as it get! read more

Usually when I go to this location the men in the stores are very helpful and accommodating especially with me being a female. Today was a poor experience. I purchased some A/C recharge fluid and the cashier told me it was very easy to do, just follow YouTube. I went on YouTube and discover It was more complicated than he led me to believe and that I needed tools I didn't have to complete the task. I went BACK TO THE STORE AND RETURNED the A/C fluid. But, when I walked in the cashier said "you didn't even try" I explain that it's more complex than he explain. He spoke to me as if I didn't look it up....Another guy googled it and acknowledged it wasn't so simple but tried to tell me "all you have to do is........" would've been simple if one of them offered to assist me or guide me. Not once did one of them offer me the tools they lend out and not once did either of them offer to look at my vehicle.Yet when I made my return I saw one of them elbow deep under another guys hood. But no one offered to help me!!! SHAME ON THIS LOCATION. SHAME ON THOSE MEN!! Wish I knew the names to put them on blast. If I could give a zero today I would!!!! read more
