Rather than selling me a new hose the gentleman at the counter came out to my car, cut off the half inch of stretched out tube with his pocket knife, plugged it back on and it was fixed. I bought a used car a couple of months ago and had a 3 month 3k mile warranty that came with the car. After a trip to Arizona I had a couple of things I wanted to get checked out. First, Dawn went above and beyond to get us a vehicle while ours was getting checked out. We had also just been in a head on collision that totaled our other truck. So we desperately needed a loaner vehicle. Riley who organizes the loaners was as friendly as can be. And lastly, Torey was simply incredible. He kept me in the loop as to what was happening while they had the vehicle. Once it was diagnosed he was a great advocate for what needed to be done to fix the issues. Extremely knowledgeable and was able to pass on all that information to me and graciously deal with a multitude of questions. After my review was posted, someone from Kendall Ford did call my husband and acknowledged our concerns. He told us they would "make it right," which gave us hope that they were taking some responsibility for what happened. Unfortunately, it's now been two weeks since that conversation, and we haven't heard anything back despite waiting for the promised follow-up. Our original concerns remain the same. We brought our certified pre-owned Ford F-150 in for diagnosis while it was still under warranty because we were experiencing serious issues. We believe the underlying problem was not properly diagnosed at that time, and the situation eventually led to much more extensive repairs. Throughout this process, communication has been inconsistent, and getting updates has been extremely difficult. I do appreciate that someone finally reached out and acknowledged our concerns, but making a promise to "make it right" without following through is disappointing. We are still waiting for the dealership to honor that commitment. Because this issue remains unresolved, I will be filing formal complaints with Ford Motor Company and any other appropriate consumer protection or regulatory agencies regarding the way this matter has been handled. My goal is simply to have this situation addressed fairly and to prevent other customers from experiencing the same issues. I sincerely hope Kendall Ford follows through on its commitment to make this right. If they do, I will gladly update my review again to reflect that.
