They were able to get me in the same week for a 10 AM appointment. (Note: Saturday is the only day they schedule for. The rest of the week is walk in/ call ahead). When I arrived, the office staff and customers wore masks and the waiting room inside was closed. They set up plenty of chairs to wait outside. The gentleman at the desk let me know about a promotion they had -- $21 for a basic oil change. My car was ready in 30 minutes!! I had planned to wait for 1-2 hours! They recommended changing the air filters and let me know they don't carry them, but I can pick them up somewhere and they will change the filters for me. 30 minutes after I left, i received a text with a link to an inspection they did. It told me my cars health, any urgent and non-urgent recommendations, and had pictures! I've never seen this before. I will definitely bring my car for service here again. They ran a diagnostic and quoted me $1,000 for the replacement of 8 spark plugs and wires on My 2013 Chevy suburban 5.3 motor. They called me on the phone and I thought it was a joke. But it wasn't! I had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my car 26,000 miles ago for $378. Now Savannah car Care is telling me that I have to spend $1,000 to replace one bad spark plug cable that has gone bad since the last replacement of all 8 plugs. I asked them if they could just replaced the one bad cable and plug. They said NO - that all the spark plugs and cables were bad. Well, to make long story short. I am traveling the country and I needed my SUV, so I said go ahead and do it. Because I complained about the price. They lowered the cost of $906. I've been going to Savannah car Care for about 4 years now. Initially, when I started going there they were great. The manager that I used to deal with left and things have gone downhill. At that time, I had Car Shield warranty and Savannah car Care bad mouth that company to death. Now there are sponsors of that company. Make a pack with the Devil - money talks! Savannah car Care it's no longer the company I used to recommend. They have sold out and now they WAY overprice their services. It's a shame! I will not be back. My insurance company recommended me going to Safelite but after reading their horrible reviews I felt like if I went and something bad happen to my car it was my own fault. After searching around and comparing google and other fellow Yelper reviews I discovered Coastal Glass Works. I explained my situation and how I needed to have my front windshield replaced and a possible recalibration and that my insurance would be covering the cost and would they be able to help me. The lady on the phone was super helpful and friendly and let me know the process I first needed to take with my insurance before they could take the job. After contacting my insurance CGW reached back out to me the same day to set up my appointment for that Friday. We ended up having to move it to the following week due to Ian. Gotta love hurricanes! I'm busy during the day and don't have the availability to do a drop off or wait at home for them to come out to me. Which would be a bonus for someone else that may not be able to make a shop visit. They had told me 8-8:30 for Friday morning. I arrived on time and was greeted right off by a wet overly excited brown lab and the owner. There was one person in front of me but I appreciated that he acknowledged that I was waiting and let me know he would be right with me. The front room is small but roomie with seating to the left and a DIY Pinterest desk... I ended up waiting for them to complete the install. I enjoyed learning more about the owner and his sister and I had puppy kisses and snuggles while I waited. The back shop area where the restroom is located is clean and organized. They had me in and out in about 2hr and three other people came and went while I was there with small repairs or fixes but I never felt like they weren't taking care of me. The end result... I no long have a U shape crack in my vehicle and it looks great! The owner went over the paperwork with me which wasn't much considering my insurance was handling it and showed me my new windshield and explained care instructions everything to me. They vacuumed all the glass out of my car and clean my windows. Bonus considering I haven't washed my car in weeks! Lol I highly recommend them for their customer service, follow up and work. I did get a quote on what it would have been if I paid out of pocket. And considering that if Ian hadn't come and they could have gotten me in the same week. It was a overall great deal!

I have no doubt they took advantage of me from being out of state and not being able to take my car somewhere else without paying for another towing fee.
