At 6pm we drove 15 miles to town only to find out part was not there. he said he don't know why it was not there and he was the one we talked to on the phone and then apologized. I told him that I should have a discount on the part for having to waste my diesel and time to come to town because its not cheep. He did even better, he said part would be at the store on 4-20-21 by 8:30 am and he will actually give me the part for my inconvenience. I thought to myself and told him that that is why i go to autozone because of the way they treat their customers. so I go back at 11;30 am on 4-20-21 and he tells me the part is not in and they will not be getting it in because the people who are making them are not delivering them no more to autozone and he has no idea when some might get to his store. I left his store 1002 very upset and called 1017 and they said they had the part and put a hold on it with my number until i get there after work.. I Returned with my oil filter that I purchased at Auto Zone. The mechanic told me he didn't charge me for the oil filter. If that's the case, then why didn't he give me a deduction OR ask me for the receipt & deduct the cost of the oil filter? I still paid full price, as if Walmart gave me a new oil filter for a synthetic oil change of $54.88 plus tax. Then to make matters worse, whoever worked on my vehicle got grease on the outside on the driver's side next to the windshield. And also inside all over the steering wheel and on the driver's side door. Ridiculous!!!!! I will never go to the Walmart Auto Center on David Lyle ever again.
