Looked it up on line first, called confirmed they had it - they did of course. He came out and helped me in the dark. Great value at that. It's my hometown auto parts store! In a convenient location along Highway 160 in Tega Cay, this auto parts provider is top notch. They've always had everything I need in stock, if not, it won't take long for them to get it for you, There are times the employees could be a little more engaging with the customers. That is one frustration I have with this location ... and let's face it - most auto parts stores! They could also attempt to clean up the parking lot a bit, but other than that it is my go-to for all my auto parts needs. I won't be coming here anymore. It started a few months back where I had I have had problems with key fob and gotten a new key and I needed help getting my old key fob open, they convinced me that they had to break my original key fob just to get it opened me and my fiancée was a bit hesitant but said if it has to be done then okay. Well we had gotten everything opened and into the other key , dude had done everything but car wouldn't turn on and obviously couldn't have my old key fob because he had literally destroyed it. It told me and my fiancée that he was going to have to unplug the whole battery but that it could mess something up and before me and my fiancée said anything he had pulled it. Long story short it completely killed my car battery. Had to spend $250 on a new battery because of him. But today is what lowly pissed me off. Thursday I had put in a Order online for some back breaks for my other car. Turned out they were not the right ones ( I had typed in the year make model, vin number and tag number of car to make sure I got correct ones) I had also called to make sure that they were the right ones, they confirmed that it was the correct ones. Like I said they were not correct. This morning we took them back to get a refund, my fiancé went in then came back out and told me that they told him that I was dumb and I probably researched it up on google like most people who come in here. Lol wow. You've completely lost a customer. Apparently it was the tall African American man that works there who told my fiancée this. I'm unsure of his name and don't care about his name. Worst experience I have had at a Advanced Auto in while. Went to this store twice today to get parts and tools. Both times the employees seemed less interested that I was in the store and more interested in what was going on in their phones. If your idea of customer service is someone standing at the front of the store and yelling to the other side of the store; then this is the store for you. O'Reilly's is next shopping center up and has helpful employees. read more

The service is 1 star here from the guy at the counter (named Eddie or something),rode around the store on a motorized scooter and seemed like he was in charge, but his attitude was trash. He argued with my husband at the counter about exchanging a battery that had lost its charge. We had the original receipt and under the company policy was able to exchange it, supposedly. The guy tried to test it and after some back and forth, he told my husband he had to wait 35 minutes for his battery to sit on the charge to test it. WHAT?! We were headed out of town in an hour from this, and even if we weren't, no one wants to wait 35 mins in the auto store on a Saturday or have to come back to the store. This guy 'Eddie' looked at my husband and says "oh so you can't wait 35 minutes?" with his less than pleasant attitude. Luckily, we got a new battery and were able to leave. But if you go here, expect to have issues and a royal attitude from the guy on the scooter. - Your customer service blows. read more
