Brought my car in on a Saturday for new brakes. They had to order parts so they kept it until…read moreMonday. Went to pick up my car around 3pm Monday afternoon and didn't look in the back seat until 5:50pm when I noticed the back seat ripped up with the seat cushion foam all over the seat (like an animal got inside). I immediately reached out to East Cobb Auto and they claim the rip didn't happen on their watch and I must have ripped up the seat in those two hours and brought it back for them to repair. Obviously it happened from Saturday to Monday while in their custody. They claim they do a four door inspection upon completion of work. Obviously that didn't happen either. East Cobb Auto would not cover the seat repair costs I incurred nor did they offer to cover any portion of the repair cost. We have been customers for over 30 years and this was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. Would not recommend leaving your car in their care.

I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and the price for repair was very reasonable. Though I thankfully did not have to wait long, I loved the waiting room. They had a jean material couch that was really comfy and awesome decor including a dressed skeleton that must have been waiting much longer than I had. I hope not to need their services again, but if I ever have an issue with my car, this will be my first stop!

He also went above and beyond by cleaning our air filter per our request and also tightened the air filter hose and topped off all fluids and all for under $80! Instead of putting my vehicle on the machine to see if that was the case or even trying to figure out what the issue was with my van veering off the right....the manager had his so call "best mechanic " test drive the vehicle only to come back and tell a alignment was not needed and just gave me my key back. Took no effort no nothing in trying to figure out what the issue was. Lazy work at its finest. I took my vehicle to another location Johnson Ferry gave great service. They found the issue with my van and got it fixed for me. I recommend taking your vehicle there where they will actually do the work to find out what the problem is and fix it. Not this location they'll just tell you what is not the problem and give you your key back. Fleet drivers especially do not go there.

I made an appointment for Tuesday to get my car fixed, I provided all the parts so was not…read moreexpecting on waiting for anything to come in. I've been calling for the past 3 days to try to get an estimate on when my car would be done. I knew that the work I wanted done would take time, which I was fine with, but I wanted to know how long I could expect to be without a car for. The past 2 mornings I called, they told me my car was in the bay and would be done soon. Today, I drove by the shop and my car was parked in the exact place I left it Tuesday. I called again, and was told that my car was in a bay being worked on. When I told him I had just driven by and seen that it was not, he said there "was another car out back" of the same make, model, and color of my car that he and another employee had both apparently "mistaken for mine" on what was now 4 seperate occasions. I just don't appreciate being lied to nor do I understand what the point of making an appointment is if it takes a week from my appointment time to even get my car looked at.
