Harrison Motorsports is the most dishonest independent shop I have ever encountered. The amount of…read morelabor I was charged was double the time it actually took them to complete the work based on when an employee told me they started the job. When I tried to resolve this with the owner (Sergio) he condescendingly asked "if I understood what taxes were" even though the taxes only account for a small fraction of the overcharge. The most disturbing issue is that the entire repair would have been covered at the dealership at no charge. This means the shop either 1) doesn't know which repairs are covered under warranties and recalls or 2) intentionally didn't disclose information that would have saved me thousands of dollars. An employee mentioned they've "conducted this exact repair before", which implies they knew about the warranty/recall. I bear responsibility for learning too late this repair could have been addressed elsewhere for free. However, whether they are 1) innocent but incompetent, or 2) unethical, means you should go elsewhere for repairs.
