I went there last week to buy brake pads for my vehicle and guess what? They had them and another more expensive model in stock - the sales guy didn't try to up-sell the more expensive model. He explained the difference between the two and showed me the computer screen so I could make my own decision. When I asked him where I could find another item he walked over to the aisle and pointed out what I was looking for. This isn't the first time I visited the store, previously I bought a vehicle specific type of 'coolant' from them; they answered all my questions without batting an eye. An absolute NIGHTMARE returning a defective mirror. Simply a NIGHTMARE. Sad to say but true. But, they are conveniently located and have some good products. But returning items bought from their store- is NOT their strong point. But the fella was nice enough, but their idea of a "Store Credit" isn't something they do, in fact, you have to purchase something else at that exact moment. I mean it's not my fault you didn't have the same item to exchange with me. I should have just received a credit and been on my way (I mean I wasn't looking for cash back). But to spend 20 minutes in there trying to spend the same amount... One word, NIGHTMARE... Then only to have the guy give me the balance of the different items in cash anyway after all that time... I work next door and these guys were So helpful to me. My car battery died at 930 at night while they were closing up and they all came out to help. The manager then proceeded to give me a discount price and installed it for me on the spot. He told me to come back next day to read my check engine codes and see how he can help with that. Epic fail on customer service. Lets begin when my car battery died on me by my house and I had to use a jump start it with the help of a good neighbor. Fast track to me getting my car to Auto Parts and buying an emergency battery charger for $49.99 in case i get stuck again, only to realize that when I came out of the store my car battery was dead again. Realizing that I might need a new battery all together I walked back in to Auto Parts and purchased a new battery for $160 and had tipped the installer just to install it. Running short on time I started my car and left knowing that i can always return the Emergency battery charger at a later date as there was no mention of a no refund policy by Debra ( Cashier ). Fast track one week later were I had returned to Auto Parts to get the refund for the 49.99 because now I have a new battery I was told that I had opened the box and I wasn't allowed to return the charger even with my receipt. When I asked for it some young idiot that looks like he was related to the manager looked up long enough from his phone to say "What the fuck is a rust buster?".
