I've been there twice for flat tire fixes and both times I had a positive experience. I paid $20 (plus tips) which is a very reasonable price. They're open until 10pm which is a big plus and both times I was assisted right away and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Staff is friendly and the manager seems to be a nice guy. Note that I haven't done any other more serious services besides flat tire fixed so I can't comment on that but for what I've done I definitely recommend this place. read more

I went to this shop a week ago for a slow leak/flat tire. I already know most shops charge around $10 per patch, but here they said they found two holes and charged me $30. Fine--it's not about the extra $10, I just wanted the problem fixed. Exactly one week later, my tire light came on again. I went back thinking they would stand by their work, but they claimed the same hole was leaking and refused to fix it. Instead, they kept pushing me to buy a used tire, just like another shady shop would do. They even wanted to charge me $10 just for taking the tire off and "diagnosing" it. I ended up going to my usual shop 40 minutes away. They immediately found the original patch from this place was loose and re-patched everything properly for $10 each. This shop doesn't stand by their work, their pricing is inconsistent, and they try to upsell you instead of taking responsibility. Would not recommend. read more

This place does not even deserve 1 star. Had them put on tires a little bit ago, and the tires started leaking from the sidewall as they weren't sealed correctly. Went back to get them resealed and they scratched up both rims drastically and swore it wasn't them. Was just looking at both rims this morning before I went in to make sure there was no damage so it was absolutely done there. Let me start my saying that the Spanish dudes that do the labor at this place are great and they will get you right. I've been here a few times for tire patches. Always good quality work. The problem with this place is the owner, some stuck up old guido looking fella. I came in, got a new tire valve stem since my old one was leaking air. They tell me $40, that's no problem, so I go inside to pay. They have a running promotion on google that says "Leave a Google or Yelp! Review For Up To 20% OFF". So I decide to bring this up to see if I can get at least some type of percentage off, since they did list it on google. The owner has no clue it's on there and asks to see my phone to verify. Next, he tells his cashier, to just take the tax off for my purchase, not even telling it to me. He didn't want to look me in the face. So I mentioned to him that you should take down the promotion since it seems misleading. He continues to tell me that he could give me as little as 1% off since it says up to 20%. While this is true, it's clearly not the right thing to say to a paying frequent customer. This dude needs to stop being so stuck up and remove his bs promotion. Guys, you're better off taking your business to the 24/7 tire shop down forest by Home Depot. Moral of the story, If you see the promotion, don't come here because they will not honor it. read more

Take some negative stars, please! This is the worst place on Staten Island to go to for absolutely anything. I wouldn't suggest going there for a cup of water! They put "new - used" tires on my car and about four days after having them, the tire pressure dropped dramatically. After a week, we brought the car back to see what was going on and they told me, scratch that, they abrasively told me that there's nothing that they can do. The disgusting woman that I interacted with was a Hispanic woman, heavyset and absolutely abrasive and illiterate. They took the tire off the car and determined that it was a sensor issue and not their tire or anything that they did. I've had the car for over three years and not once have I ever had a sensor issue with my tire or rim. The issue only started happening after We pulled out of this chop shop. They wouldn't take any accountability for the faulty tire. All they suggested was to sell us another tire and at that point, I didn't trust them to put a different tire on the car so we left. Nor would I give them any more money. I highly advise absolutely anyone who is in need of tires or service for their vehicle, to stay away from this place. If you're in the mood to be spoken to rudely and get aggravated, by all means, patron this business. To the appalling woman that works there, you really shouldn't be in customer service. You shouldn't do any type of work involved you speaking to people. You're unprofessional and classless. read more

Brought a new set of tires to get mounted and balanced a while ago onto a new set of wheels and after some time I can see that the whole inside of my $1000+ wheels are all scratched up from them removing old balancing weights these wheels are black and have these deep gouges in them now. The only way to get this fixed would be to powder coat and fill in the scratches which would cost hundreds to do on all 4 wheels. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. This place is an absolute fraud. I got there and owner said he's got run flat Pirelli Scorpion tires for $75. I negotiate 4 tires down to $70 each with balance and install. Tires are installed and I'm about to pay $280 but I realize the rear 2 tires are no name tires, not the Pirelli's I asked for. The guys now gone and his wife is in charge. I point it out to her and she says "we never tell customers what brand it'll be" but a few mins ago her husband (owner) and I agreed to 4 Pirelli tires for $280. He raved on about how many Pirelli's he had but now all of a sudden they magically don't have anymore. But didn't point that out to me when they were installing it. The guy clearly told the techs 4 Pirelli's right in front of me. I was about to be charged for 4 Pirelli's. But now they all of a sudden don't have 4 Pirellis. Go some place else. Don't get scammed here. The wife says "I feel bad" and wanted to charge me 'ONLY' $65. Seriously? I could have gotten no name tires brand new for $50 LITERALLY ANYWHERE. No wonder why the automotive industry has a bad name. It's because of places like this that'll scam their customers with no guilt whatsoever. Oh and the tires weren't balanced either so yeah never again. I'll make sure everyone I know avoids this place like the plague. I don't care if I have a flat tire and have to drive on my rim across the bridge to get a new tire I'll never go here again. read more

Already did a review on Google but wanted to share here also: Well, I am not a friend nor relative and will only write/tell truths about MY experience with Express Tire . My husband and I went all over the internet, Jeep shows in NJ and Pennsylvania making sure we chose the right tire for the right price. We had also visited Express Tire sometime before the Holidays but never made any decisions. Well, now that the time was right we went back to Express and the tire I chose that I thought they would have was excellent on the internet but more $$ than Express. The only problem was was that the owner said read the fine print and that's when I saw that they had the tire for a great price on the internet but they didn't have the size I needed. So, he literally told me to go and check other places and make sure I got what would make me happy. He said "Go out and check for yourself." I don't think that's a person that's trying to rob me or deceive me. That's when Diana guided us to look for more in their inventory and I couldn't believe that I was able to find something....and it fit our budget perfect. I wish I could show a picture of the tire because it's BEAUTIFUL, People ! So they should be in by Monday the latest, today is Friday so I will continue this review once my tires are installed and I'm riding lovely. Complete schemer. Originally just asked for only an estimate on my car and when he called me with prices they were through the roof so I told him I'm going to take a different direction and thank you. When i showed up the lady working wouldnt hand me over my keys asking for a 25$ fee that I wasn't ever informed about. Apparently they charge to do a diagnosis and don't inform anyone who declines there offer there going to be charged. Absolute madness never in my 15 years of driving has a mechanic charged me to look at a car then hold my keys until they get paid ( like my car is random). She was extremely rude once they took my last 18$ in my pocket with no problem and told me get the car out of here. STAY AWAY !!! THIEVES !!! Went in and spoke to Christian and asked him how much a car tire would be and to also fix my rim. he told me it would be $65. I had my car at a different place told Christian that the place my car was at told me I needed a new rotor so I told Christian this and he said he could fix My car to have it towed to him so I did. I had my car dropped off by Express tire and auto service I get a phone call saying that he can't fix my car because he is not a mechanic and he don't have a lift. They go and send my car across the street to a different place and tell me that what was wrong with my car would cost $700. I have a tow truck come back to get my car and I go to get my key from this place and the lady in the front tell me I need to pay $25. I asked her for what and she said because we told you what was wrong with your car when I was the one who told Christian what's wrong with my car in the first please.
