Absolutely sucks! I was just there about :20 mins ago getting wipers. The girl was helpful and found my wiper sizes. But then I went to check out, and the guy at the register was just chatting away with his customer buddy. I literally let the guy in front of me cuz he only had one item, but then he and the cashier just had a 5 mins conversation, just laughing away like I wasn't even there. Wow ! A company that knows what Customer Service is all about. I pulled in with a bad brake light just to see Josh changing one for a woman. I mentioned that was why I was there and he didn't miss a beat helping me with min and fixing it without hesitation and get this he was the only person working ! Thats what I call 5 STAR Service. My go to place for anything I need for my car. The staff are friendly and ask if the blades/bulbs etc need replacing and they are happy to do it for you. They then go ahead and check that everything is working great before they let you leave. Yes it's a bit shameful as a man to ask them to install wipers. But the last time I installed them myself, the wiper took off into the road never to be seen again, the very first time it rained. They will also find things for you, instead of pointing you in the general direction. Autozone across the road pay notice! Men can't find their noses half the god damn time. Take us to the item we need to find. It's not hard. You work there... I used to fav our Autozone in the past, but in Urbana. AAP is by far the leader. read more

I just want to give a shoutout to the two gentlemen who helped me yesterday during the snowstorm so I could get back home after doing my shift and an over night and another shift. My drivers side windshield wiper broke and I stopped in after trying to put a new one on myself that is gotten at Walmart , they gave me the correct one and didn't charge me and I was safely on my way. Terrible business. I went to buy a bulb for one of my tail lights, and without even looking, the child behind the register told me that the bulb couldn't be replaced, that I had to go to the dealership. I asked him to look at the light and he refused. Turned out nothing was wrong. The local mechanic I went to took a quick look and charged me nothing for it. Who knows how much I would have spent if I'd have gone to the dealership. read more

I just left AAP after a quick in and out (I'm talking 3 minutes) after realizing I was sold the wrong windshield wipers from AutoZone. Micah and Josh were super helpful and even installed them for me in the sleet. My original pair was completely broken and I could barely see anything while driving. Lifesavers! Thanks guys! I am one not to complain but when you see a store change so much from the day to when you return at night it is nuts. I went to advance yesterday 4/13/17 during the day the staff were great professional, I had to return that evening around 7:30 for a part and the girl that was working was rude to the point that I was bothering her from showing a friend of hers both something on her phone and a nasty piercing in her mouth she actually yelled for the young man to come up and help me all while she was standing there talking to a friend about the last club she went to in DC! All I can say is I cannot wait until Auto Zone opens up across the street! read more

Excellent! 10/10 -- every experience I have had at this location makes it worthwhile to drive the extra 30 minutes when I need parts. The customer service is above and beyond, and I am never treated like a nuisance or inconvenience- a stark contrast to some of the other Advance Auto Parts locations I have frequented in Frederick in the past ~10 years. The staff here always greet you which is nice, but more importantly, they don't b.s. you. If you have a question that they can't answer, they don't beat around the bush and try to guess, they find someone who can give you an answer, and listen so they can learn too. Im not sure why more retail establishments are not like this, but they should be. Even the younger employees here go out of their way to help you -- without an attitude! What a concept! I've been out of the business for awhile, so God forbid I need to come to the parts store on a regular basis, but when I do I am sticking with this location, hands down!!! read more
