If this is how they treat other businesses, specifically women, I will make sure to spread the word to go elsewhere. The only negative would be that they didn't contact me when the work was done and I had to call in to find out if it was ready. But it turns out that they were somewhat overworked that day. They then lied to her about not needing insurance approval. They also lied about what they were having her sign. I'm the policyholder (and an insurance defense attorney), so I asked them to send me the form, and they refused to do so. Instead, they refused to work on the car altogether and insisted that the car be taken to another shop. Which I was more than happy to do! Very shady behavior.
