I took my 2014 BMW here for a simple oil change... they kept my car for 7 hours! When I finally pick it up, I noticed when I got home my car smelt like burning oil. Whatever spills happen. I pop the hood, and it's as if they just splashed oil on every inch of the engine! How does that even happen?!!!! I would deff go elsewhere.

My Lexus has quite a few things wrong with it. None too debilitating thank God. The guys at Advance could probably feel my frustrations and treated my situation with gloves at first but once I finally came to terms with the overall picture I was quite relieved . Put together a plan on my budget ,first was the oil.presure gauge sensor . I'll let you know how the rest of the fix goes, but for sure it will be handled properly and professionally by Advanced Auto ..

The grease smudge after they had worked on my car. I'm still weary to clean it off, afraid that I'll smear it.

I brought my car to that shop for a cylinder head repair about five months ago. It is still in there. Every time I call I get a different excuse as to why it isn't fixed yet. I've been down there a few times and all I get are excuses and assurance that it will be the next priority but that hasn't happened yet. I've finally decided to tow it to another shop. Can't recommend it to anyone and would advise to find someone else. read more

I had a flat tire on a hot, busy-traffic day on the northbound 5 and was lucky enough to have someone from Advance Auto come to replace tire with spare. This person was just what you hope will assist you in this situation. He was efficient, professional, courteous, kind, and would not even take a tip. I don't know about this rest of the place, but if this guy is any example of it, it's gotta be great! read more

I got stage 4 cancer,that means I was told maybe a year to live.got wife ,4 kids,grandkids,and all that beautiful things.but unfortunately this is the card that I was dealt.have been in Tracy for 3 or so years,and I tell you I swear to god don't know what it is about small town business man mind or what.i have had to deal with couple other business,,,,,same crap,,,cheaters. advance freaking auto had done this before to my daughter, but I marked it as misunderstanding. but last time I went in with a supposedly free tow ,and $160 estimate for repair.i ended up paying $60 for towing, and $385 on $165 repair estimate. Prior to coming to the ship i told them that I need this fixed so I can pay my medical bill.took them days past the day promised my car ,and I lost a very potential buyer.couldnt find the owner for a week ,and finally when I did ,he might as well had said to me to go jump in a lake,basically, that's how nonchalant the owner was.well jessie what comes around goes around,I leave you in God's hand,you poor soul. Brought my car here…read more My car failed smog...guy said bring it back after making "certain" repairs. Saying it would not pass "unless the car was driven a certain amount of miles". Didn't give an explanation of WHY the car had to be driven. So no, I shouldn't bring it back without a mechanics approval because it would fail. Took it somewhere else. The mechanic explained it wouldn't pass unless another mechanic looked at it prior to clear it and the mileage cleared because the computer had to reset. It needed a new temperature gauge. That could have been included in the conversation. Tried to make an extra quick couple bucks. Never will be back. And everyone I know in Tracy has been informed. Sad part is, I came here before and had no issues. Not sure who is running it now. Good luck.

This place is amazing! They picked up my car after I was in an accident. The driver (Larry) was very professional; and seemed genuinely concerned about my vehicle and myself. I needed a lot of work done; and they explained it to me every step of the way. The lady that did my paperwork (Michael) was very nice and kept me informed. They actually let me talk to the mechanic (who was the same guy that towed my car) so that I could get all of my questions answered. And I actually learned a lot from him, as he did not hold any secrets back (the way a lot of mechanics have done with me in the past). FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH!! I highly recommend that everyone try this place. You won't be disappointed. I have continued to take all of my family vehicles there; and have had great service EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Everyone at Advance Auto was very friendly, and this is very important to me as a consumer. Walked in was immediately greeted with respect, scheduled an appointment for early the next day (they fit me in before I had to be somewhere else). Came back next day, car was rolled into car within 10 minutes (That's very good considering the amount of work they had on their hands). The waiting room has a glass window so you can see what the auto guys are doing. Everything was professional, they even rotated my tires for free. Labor was $8 and oil was reasonable. Overall 5/5. Carlos/Jessie = BEST!! I brought in my 2005 Honda Odyssey for a wheel bearing change, front brake change, transmission/cooling system flush - and I can't be more happy! The price quote was excellent. Carlos also gave great suggestions on whether other repairs are necessary or not. I brought my car to Watson Auto and was so pleased with the service I recieved. The mechanic was extremely friendly and took special care in making sure I understood what needed to be done and that I was comfortable with him doing so. The price I paid for my repiars was less than anywhere else I have ever taken my car in the past. The fact that the mechanic took the time to make sure I knew what he was doing before doing it was worth it right there. We have taken our car to Watson Auto Repair since it opened and they are awesome!!! I was contimplating getting a new minivan because the air conditioner wasn't working and I was afraid it would cost a lot to repair...
