My wife woke up Sunday morning with vertigo and nausea. I first went to Carenow but was told it would be an hour wait. I looked up Yelp and found Advance ER, called and was told there was no wait. Once we arrived, the nurse immediately offered to take my wife to the examine room while I filled out the paperwork. By the time I entered the exam room, Dr Raj and two other nurses were already asking my wife diagnostic questions and preparing her for IV. During our roughly two hours stay at the clinic, Dr Raj and the staff demonstrated lots of patience, empathy, and care. Both Dr. Raj and the nurse came back often to check on her. All the treatment options and medication given were clearly explained and documented. Upon discharge, the doctor, the nurses personally escorted us out to our car. Overall, it was one of the best emergency care we received. The only thing to be aware is that this place is considered an Emergency Room (ER), and not an urgent care. So be aware that you may be billed as if you have used an ER at a hospital. read more

You will be charged outrageous prices. Our bill was over $10,000!! 500% to 1000% over normal. Don't believe the line about them accepting the in-network payment. They are not in-network with anyone therefore, you will end up with them trying to collect 100% of the charges from you. We needed urgent care late at night. This place comes up under urgent care search. VERY misleading. These kinds of places that abuse insurance companies and patient pocket books are why our healthcare premiums keep rising without restraint. read more

I went here two weeks ago, after I fractured my big toe. My doctor's office couldn't see me for a couple days, and I thought I would stop on my way to work to have it x-rayed. I went to the Inwood Road location, directly across from Jesuit High School. I agree that this place is beautiful, and everyone that I came in contact with was very nice. And quick service. I worried that it was going to be very expensive. I have insurance, but they said they are not in network on any insurance plans. But would definitely work with me for a reasonable bill. (Should of had sirens going off right here!!) Update! They took several months to get me a bill. And I have contacted them several times, during the last 4 months. The only response I received was that they were going to talk to their manager to see if they could reduce the cost to me. I guess they think $1,400 sounds reasonable to them for X-rays, and taping two toes together. Should have gone to Care Now, they are very good, and very reasonably priced. Hope this helps someone in the future. Don't go here unless you have lots of money to spend! read more

Who knew falling down the stairs could lead to such a pleasant experience? It almost balanced out falling down the stairs. A nurse picked me up at the door in a wheelchair as I couldn't put any weight on my foot, and I was whisked off to an exam room before I could shake a stick. Very professional, efficient, and kind. I was taken care of promptly and in the most patient-centered way possible. They got me x-rayed, diagnosed, outfitted with crutches, took my insurance and payment information, as well as dosed with some pain medication and out the door in less than two hours. I've had a great experience this morning at Advance ER. Dr Chaing was absolutely wonderful. He treated me and gave me a breathing treatment. Dr Chaing was kind with a great bedside manner. I was even offered a cappuccino during the short time I waited for my breathing treatment to begin. They also agreed to submit to my insurance for payment. I'd definitely recommend this place. Can't say enough good things about this place. Feels more like an office visit than an er. Staff is extremely friendly. Hubby was offered snacks and sodas, as was I after the evaluation. Hubby stayed in the lobby because of the super comfy chair. The doctor came out to the waiting room, and talked to him for a little bit. Wow. If you have to visit an emergency room this is the place to go! Super nice, free snack and drink bar with coffee, Gatorade, and more. I took a 10 year old there and it REALLY beat spending hours and hours at children's hospital. In fact, I think we were out within an hour. (But it was so nice we would have been fine waiting!) The waiting area was nice, and the service was quick. My only complaint is the bill. I received over $6000 of bill for treating skin rash. No blood test, no nothing. Just had my blood pressure and temperature taken, then I left with the doctor's prescription. That's insane. I was lucky that my insurance paid huge part of it. I cannot say enough about this amazing ER! They treated me like royalty - nothing at all like any medical place I've ever been to. First you walk in and it feels like the Rita Carlton! It's beautiful! Then the person greets you kindly and it begins. I didn't even have to sit down and fill out pages of forms - they took me straight back to a room and made me comfortable (it was a little cold for me and they could tell and immediately brought me a blanket.) They began to get my "history" and very throughly covered every base communicating with me every step of the way. I never felt rushed or like they were trying to move me through like cattle. Dr King and his team really took amazing care of me during my stay yesterday. I was in town for the OU/TX game from Oklahoma and had fallen very ill over night. They got me in right away and did all they could to ensure my comfort. Paul was my nurse and he was very personable and made sure I understood the methods I needed to take to extend my care after I left. Beautiful facility, I wish we had a place like this in my state. Loved everything about this place. Very calming and beautiful when walking in, was greeted immediately and was in a room in less than 5 minutes. Everyone was down to earth but professional. They gave me all the time I needed, never felt rushed, they really listened and they did not over order any tests. I had X-rays and I left there with my X-rays on disc. for my Dr. back in Seattle. I have never reviewed a hospital, ER outpatient clinic or physician on Yelp before today. However, after a visit to Advanced ER about a week ago following a work injury, I was very impressed and wanted to share. When you go to Advanced ER this is what you can expect: 1. A great, comforting and actually beautifully decorated lobby and check in area ( this used to be a furniture store before Advanced ER, they have done a great job.) 2. Extremely quick check in and room processing. I was moved to a room and vitals were taken within 10 minutes of arriving and filling out the paperwork. 3. The facility is extremely clean and the RN that was assigned to me was wonderful and checked in frequently. They provide an array of complimentary drinks, snacks and other options while you wait. This wait however is not long . 4. Within about 15 minutes I saw Dr. Chiang and he was great. Having been diagnosed with stage IV cancer a few years ago I have seen my share of doctors and visited several facilities. Dr. Chiang has one of the best bedside manners I have ever come across. 5. I had a CT scan, and at a normal facility this can take take hours. At Advanced ER it took less than 20 minutes. The results themselves took 30 minutes to come back, were reviewed by the radiologist, and then Dr. Chiang and I discussed the report and I was headed home. About three or four days later I was having concerns about a workers compensation issue and called Advanced ER on record releases. I spoke with Dr. Alan because Dr. Chiang was off. Dr. Alan helped guide me through what was acceptable in terms of medical releases on what was normal and what was not in terms of what my company was requesting from me. Although completely out of his realm, he didn't even hesitate to help me with any of this . The most amazing part is that he wasn't even my treating physician, and he made himself available whenever I needed to call with questions. My primary medical team is at Stanford University, and secondary is UT Southwestern. However because this was a work injury and not cancer related I stopped into Advanced ER and I am happy that I did. It is because of Dr. Alan's help to lead me through the process of workers comp and the wonderful care I received from Dr. Chiang , combined with the speed, accuracy and great environment. Advanced ER is right up there with the best of them . I recommend highly them. -SKP read more

I went into this center because I was having a headache for the past two plus weeks. Dr.Brice and his team was very helpful and was very caring about my comfort ability. Although I would prefer not to go straight to an emergency room, I would recommend this one because they took care of me immediately. Dr.Brice keep my girlfriend in the loop when I was out of the room completing my C.T. and we are both very appreciative of there communication. This location sent me home feeling way better, due to the meds of course I was very drowsy, but I they definitely took good care of me and you can tell the staff enjoyed their job. read more

My husband went in for abdominal pain and received a prescription, and now they are trying to charge us over $3,000!!! I googled nearby emergency care and this place popped up. My son had an earache and cold which led me there. The staff was very friendly and prompt as we were the only patient there at 9pm. He was diagnosed with an infection in his left ear and was educated on ways to clean the ear. We we were there all but 20 minutes ad received a bill for $375. Now let's see how much insurance will cover. read more

Our son made a trip to this ER after being stung by a scorpion (long story - it traveled back from Arizona with us in a suitcase) on New Years Eve. We showed up at about 2:45a and every member of the staff was cheerful, attentive and incredibly helpful. The ER doc - despite clearly never having encountered a patient stung by a scorpion from the Sonoran Desert - was in complete, calm control. He examined our son, researched the scorpion through poison control authorities in Arizona, and gave us a diagnosis and treatment plan. Throughout the process, we felt completely comfortable. If we ever need to see a local ER doc again, we'll feel good knowing the Advance ER is just around the corner. read more
