My experience was wonderful at Advance ER on Inwood. Their handling of my visit was courteous, friendly, and professional. I had no wait and felt the staff spent all the time with me that was needed for diagnosis, treatment, insurance arrangements, and follow up instructions. Visiting from out of town, they took extra effort to locate a pharmacy open at that late time on Friday and near my hotel which was located across town. Dr King was especially informative, asked good questions, and seemed to think through my diagnosis carefully. Again, a wonderful experience. read more

I had a massive asthma attack in the wee morning hours. I chose Advance ER on a whim, but I'm so glad I did. The facility is clean, modern and inviting, and the staff are friendly and caring, from the front desk to the Dr. I was seen and treated immediately and I knew that my health was a priority to the nurses and to Dr. Lee. In particular, nurse Beverly was incredible. She was friendly and kind, patient and instantly calming. She kept me informed through each step, which definitely helped keep me calm and aware of what was happening. Her bright demeanor and light conversation between the medicine made me feel confident and comfortable. Dr. Lee made sure that I was recovered and well versed on medications and other information pertinent to recovery and maintenance. He was very kind and I felt like I was heard and acknowledged, which is so important from your Dr! I will highly recommend Advance ER to anyone needing emergent care. The facility is nice that is why they were given the one star. I went there for a cut on my finger. I was given a tetanus shot, ointment, bandages and sent home. I later received my bill and it was ridiculous. I was charged: 1903.63 for a facilities fee (I am assuming the facilities fee was for a laying down on the table and waiting for someone to assist you?) 128.63 for the shot (Let me guess, the needle was made of gold?) 1421.28 for Emergency service (The taping of the finger?) I would not recommend the place to anyone, unless you have money to throw away. read more

I went in about a week and a half ago for a head injury I had sustained on Mother's Day from a fall. I came in as I was getting massive headaches behind my eye, blurred vision in the right eye, and vomiting. I went in and was the only person in there so I was taken back quickly. The Dr came in asked about my issues and gave me a CT Scan. No MRI, no blood or urine samples. Now first off no blood or urine specimens??? Really. So I call them to let them know that upon my release that all was fine and my scans came back Clear. When I arrived home I passed out the vomiting continued. I called to let them know and they tried to push me to another ER after I just spent $300.00 for nothing. So thanks to them I went home feeling awful and shelling out more money to get a REAL answer. If you have a sprain or something good place to go. If you have an emergency I would suggest somewhere else. read more

ER not urgent care. Does not take Medicare or Medicaid. Very nice place with very friendly staff. No wait time! Open 24/7. If you have to go to the emergency room don't go to the hospital, come here! They can keep you for observation or they can send you to a room at a hospital of your choice. They have all of the machines for testing. read more

Thank you Advance ER on Innwood for taking such great care of me! On Sunday 10-11 I was heading to the airport to fly home and accidentally got hit in the head with the door to the trunk of our car. Blood gushed from the wound and scared me. I was rushed there and the team took excellent care of me! They even called the next day to see how I was doing! They turned a scary situation into something calm and peaceful. From the reception out front to the nurse and the technician and especially the Dr, I was treated as if I were the only patient there! I have had my fair share of ER visits, but I must say this ER is in a class of their own. Once I arrived the staff was prepared and most importantly compassionate and understanding. When you are under the weather the last thing you want to encounter is bad customer service, which is what I usually get from other institutions. I started my day at a Minute Clinic, and they could not treat me and referred me to Advance ER. I was in a lot of pain when I arrived, but the staff was able to see me quickly. The facility was clean and nice and as soon as I signed in I was taken back to a room where a nurse took my vitals. The doctor was in soon after and completed my diagnosis. The staff was thorough and understanding. The doctor even called to check in on me the next day. I hope to not have to go back anytime soon, but would recommend them for anyone needing immediate care. read more

Had to go the Advance ER for a cut finger. My girlfriend and I walked in and wow what a nice place. My girlfriend heard about this place so when I needed to go to get my finger looked at she took me there. Very nice waiting area, plush chairs, TV but I didn't have to wait at all. I was walked back in immediately after saying my finger would not stop bleeding. I had three people attend to me right away, Doctor look at the finger and said it had to have four stiches. All of the people were very friendly. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The next day I received a phone call from the doctor to check on me. About 2 days later I got a card from them, all the people attended to me signed it. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

Wonderful service. Dr. Brice and the medical staff were so friendly and probably the most thorough of any medical facility I've been to in recent years...and I've been to a lot. I have a rare, in incurable illness that many doctors - even specialists - have never heard of. Dr. Brice sat and researched my disease and based on what he saw, ran all the tests to rule out the most the critical risks related to it and my symptoms. His nurse even discussed some homeopathic remedies to ease inflammation I had never heard of - but anxious to try - and I appreciate them so much. Highly recommend! read more

Back in April I was injured in an elevator. I have had to use this ER after the injury and after my surgery for a post op infection. I was embarrassed for having to go so many times , but the staff was great ! There was not one single time I had a nurse or doctor who was not caring or understanding. My internal medicine doctor made a comment how nice one particular ER Doctor was when they had to communicate. This facility is welcoming , clean and fast. Everyone was pleasant and caring, from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor! We went at 5 am on a Tuesday so not busy at all. Dr King listened patiently and took good care of my husband. He thought he was having a heart attack, along with flu symptoms and neck strain from an injury. They were able to do an EKG, draw blood, and do an X-ray. read more

Advance ER is the best emergency room that I had the pleasure to care for me. Dr. Meyer is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to care for me. He does everything that is within his power to get to the bottom of your illness. If he thinks that you need further care he will have you transferred to your hospital of choice. I was absolutely pleased with my experience. Didn't know what to expect as I'm new to Dallas but needed immediate medical attention. 0 wait time, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and they made sure I was taken care of completely before being released. I recommend them to anyone that needs any type of immediate medical care. I even received a follow up phone call and a thank you card in the mail. WOW. I would just like to share with everyone what a wonderful experience I had at Advance ER today. Although I have taken individuals in my family there many times in the past years they have been open, I'm always confident and feel completely at ease when returning to either of their facilities. I got a call at work today stating that my daughter's face was swelling due to a toothache. I knew she needed to have an antibiotic before the dentist would even deal with her tooth. I called Advance ER to ask how long the wait is, and as always it's a NO WAIT facility. So, when we got there Dr. the Front Desk ALWAYS greet us with a smile, and some tend to remember our name and ask how we've been. The Nurse was being rang to come get us before we even had a chance to sit. I love that kind of service. Even though my daughter was terrified due to her tooth hurting her jaw, the Nurse Emily and the Rad Tech Shak made her feel completely comfortable by giving her goodies and treats to let her know she was in a safe place. Dr. Bryce came into the pediatric room where we were waiting and knew how scared she was and made her feel comfortable and at ease with his sweet and kind soothing voice. We were there about 20 mins and then were headed to the pharmacy to make my daughter feel much better. As a mother, I love how they treat all major and minor emergencies. They even treat urgent care issues as well that tend to need a little more TLC. With Advance ER having Board Certified ER Physicians on staff at all times makes you want to think twice about going to see a mid-level caregiver. No one should gambling with their health in order to save a small amount of money. Life's too short to wait around at Doctor's offices. Get in, get seen, and be on your way. The extra couple of bucks to be seen by Board Certified ER Physician's with no wait and amazing accommodations, and feeling like you're the only person that exists is completely worth it. We weren't from the Dallas area and just arrived at our hotel when my son fell and hit his head on a table and caused a deep cut on his head. Advance ER is not anything like a walk-in urgent/prima care facility. A few months I passed out from dehydration and heat. I went to the emergency room at a large well know hospital. It took almost 18 hrs. to get all the testing, hydration, paperwork and was charged for 2 days. I passed out again yesterday, you'd think I would learn. I was pretty out of it so my wife took me to the closest place. I entered Advance ER, encountered minimal paperwork, an was taken to a room in 5 min. The staff was like an organized dance. Nurse entered and proceeded quickly to gather all the information for the doctor which entered maybe 4 min. later.Both were very polite and experienced. They had an EKG, hung a bag, taken me to x-ray, did lab work, and back in the room in 20 min. I was asked to walk a bit to measure steadiness after finishing IV. The nurse took me on a tour of the facility. The equipment was state of the art, X-ray, CT. They had an on site full lab, a pharmacy, an ambulance entrance, and an observation room in case you had to be watched for a bit. I'm familiar with ER's and I would have to rate this ER as one of the best for it's size. I was released in about an hour with all the information and meds I needed. The packet was complete with a computer disk with the views of the x-ray. I was just interrupted by the phone from the Doctor to follow up from yesterday. Can't say enough. Excellent experience. I wouldn't hesitate to go again if needed and have already told everyone I encounter that if needed they should go. I ended up having surgery but Advance ER doctor called to check on me before the surgeon's office called. Staff went above and beyond. I can't say enough! I had to go to the ER at 2 am Sunday morning due to severe pain in my lower back and abdomen area. Nice entry and waiting room which was pleasantly surprising. We were promptly greeted and ask to fill out some minor paperwork to get processed and admitted. Friendly front desk person and quickly admitted. We were then greeted by the nurse on duty that evening, Dean, who was an absolute angel and quickly evaluated the symptoms and had the doctor on duty Dr Meier come to discuss what possibly could be the issue. Dr Meier's prediction was proven accurate by the CT scan the perform within an hour of my arrival. They provided me details on my conditions, provided me relief and evaluated me for another hour to make sure symptoms subsided before they provide my release and referral another doctor for further treatment. The day following my visit, I received a follow-up call from the doctor on duty, Dr King who spent 30 minutes on the phone with me to see how I was feeling as well as further explaining what I should expect until my follow-up referral appointment. I highly recommend this hospital as an alternate to visiting your typical hospital ERs. Very pleasant, clean facility with awesome and attentive staff who actually care about you and your well being. Great experience!!! We were out for a walk and it started to rain so we turned to head for cover and she tripped and literally fell flat on her face when I turned her over blood every where. Got her home into the truck and remembered they were right around the corner pulled up to ER she went in by the time I parked they had her in the back. The young lady up front was very pleasant and helpful filled out all the paper work rather easy. Went to the back to her room and Dr Allen was great good bedside manor good sense of humor and did a great job of sewing her up and explain things. Everybody there was helpful.
