The facility was clean, modern, and I was seen immediately. There was talk of transferring me to a hospital, but the doctor on staff was able to treat me in the facility. I had severe food poisoning and went to Advance ER. I was immediately brought back and put in a room. Within 5 minutes I had an IV and medicine to stop me from throwing up. I hurt my foot and was not in the mood to spend my Friday night in the ER knowing my injury was not serious and I would be at the end of the triage list. At my husband's insistence that I needed to be seen by a Doctor we made our way to Advance ER. I was greeted immediately and was back in the treatment room in minutes. The staff was all very professional and personable. They had great bedside manner and were very thorough. I appreciate their time and attention and their desire to be courteous of my time too quickly trying to get me taken care of and back to Friday night. I also appreciate the doctor working the next day called to check on me. That had never happened when I've had to visit ERs previously. I was amazed at the level of care and competency. We were in Dallas for the weekend, got sick, needed a doctor. Figured we would have your typical doc-in-a- box experience. I just left from their office and my experience was probably one of the best doctor experiences I've ever had. I needed to get something checked out on my leg that had been concerning me and they were able to see me within 10 minutes. The front desk gentlemen was very friendly and polite. The nurses were amazing and Dr. Meier was very caring. The nurse (Jeff?) who took my blood was so friendly and I didn't even feel it when he pricked me. They all took so much time and attention and I felt like they really listened to my concerns. They were very thorough when going over my bloodwork and very clear on what to do next. They even provided the doctor's direct line in case I needed to call in the future with any concerns. I would 100% recommend coming here. read more

Dr. Chiang, Lauren, Vince, & Diedra were the most pleasant, thoughtful, understanding, and thorough medical staff I have ever encountered. I had abrupt onset of flank (side) pain and my husband called one urgent care center who told us they had a long wait and were soon closing. We then drove to a hospital ER and as I was writhing on the table while they were taking my vitals, I was told I was about the '16th person' in line and couldn't be moved ahead of anyone. Meanwhile, I found myself in a sea of patients with the flu and while I was dealing with 10/10 side pain I was terrified I was also going to catch the flu. Finally, we found Advance ER on google and gave them a call. They told us they had a 'no wait ER' and to come on in. At this point- I was vomiting into a barf bag in the car and couldn't get to Advance ER fast enough. They had me checked in and examined faster than I could blink. Dr. Chiang's bedside manner is UNMATCHED. He consistently offered my family and me water and other refreshments as we waited to find out what was going on. To make an extremely long, agonizing story short...Dr. Chiang quickly diagnosed me with a kidney stone and administered treatment with IV pain meds in a jiffy! He went through the necessary testing to rule in/out other causes of my side pain and his priority was to get my pain under control. Lauren and Diedra were at my side the whole time and they checked in me every few minutes. It couldn't have been a smoother process. My family and I were so impressed. I truly can't thank Advance ER enough for giving me relief from my very first kidney stone! Then to top it off with a follow up phone call and handwritten thank you card--wow! Now, I know the billing process is going to be a bit of a headache but I understand they will honor in network benefits and I'm hopeful they will work with me and my insurance provider, BCBS on that end. On a final note- I received a discharge packet with all my testing/results explained in through detail in addition to a copy of my CT imaging so I can follow up with another physician if I choose to. They even gave me a recommendation in case I needed one. Advance ER has my vote, that's for sure. Thank you for everything! read more

I thought the service was good enough, but I was extremely distraught by the bill I received months later. I was charged nearly $2,000 for a 5 minute exam, which included the nurse assistant taking my temperature and a negative Strep Test. I asked the receptionist multiple times during my visit if my insurance would cover their fees and she made me believe that they would. Their website also misleads you to believe that all health insurers are honored as "in-network." Even if you go in there for a simple test, they add-on "facility fees" that are equivalent to staying over night at a real hospital. I would highly recommend that you go to a real hospital or an in-network doctor's office if you are sick. read more

Is it possible to give 10 stars!? If so, I would I came in to this location because my PCP advised me to go to the nearest ER due to complications with my Spinal Tap. Dr. Chang was literally the best physician I have ever encountered. He showed genuine concern and empathy about my situation. He asked numerous questions to get a full background, he explained every procedure and medication. He should teach a course on bedside manner to ER docs. His compassion and kindness was simply wonderful. His knowledge of his field of work shined. My nurse Emily was just as wonderful, she showed great compassion and humor to make me feel that I had a friend who was taking caring of me. They both seemed to "root" for me to get better. And they did! With such a great and knowledgeable cheering section. I was able to finally get relief during my medical procedure. I am at home resting feeling much better than I had in a week. The discharging doc , Dr. Rao was very nice but I didn't have too much time with him.I am so thankful for medical professionals Bravo to Advance ER it's clear you want the very best for your patients by having a staff as great as this one read more

We brought my elderly mom to this ER after she had had a bout of what we thought was the flu, but weeks later, still wasn't recovering. Our experience was tremendous. The staff was kind, attentive, treated her like a queen... and did an incredibly thorough workup. We were almost the only people there--(nothing like the waits at a hospital ER) and the whole facility looked and felt more like an upscale hotel than a medical clinic. Love this place!! They also have another location in the Galleria i've been to and had an incredible experience. So good in fact that when i decided to come here since i was close by i thought for sure they wouldn't be as great, but i was wrong! The staff and services offered at these facilities are fantastic...unlike any place I've ever been to! You can tell they really care about patient experience. The front desk person was clear that i wouldn't have to pay anything but my copay that day because they didn't know how much i would owe of my other benefits but that i would get a bill and if i needed anything to call their billing people and they would make sure i was happy. I did receive something from the insurance that kind of made me nervous, but when i called the billing department they assured me that insurance just sends something saying how much they were charged, and it doesn't accurately reflect what i owe. Then they told me my actual bill and it was extremely reasonable and they did give me the in network discounts the facility said they would. They also gave me an additional discount which allowed me to pay the doctor and facility bill off that day! I am more than satisfied and would highly recommend this ER! read more

This place is not what it seems. They are so disorganized. In my opinion the owners/ doctors have no interest and helping people but are only interested in making money. My bill was huge!!!!!!! Huge!!!!! I talked to my insurance company and was told they are not covered. I asked they front desk and was told they were. Lies!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!! I talked to billing. No help. Called the ER, again no help. My nurse was loud and obnoxious. When I am sick I dont want to hear your jokes, about your friiends or whatever. The guy who took my blood pressure was sloppy and had funky breath. There was dried red stains in the railing of my bed. Also, even with my curtains closed I could hear employees laughing and talking. On the upside, there is no wait but it's not worth the hassle! No stars! read more

I can't say enough about my experience here! Unfortunately I've had quite a few trips to many different ER's all my life for various stomach conditions all leading up to my diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. I had a severe flare up last week after hours and took myself to Baylor. Well I walked into their ER and took one good look at their waiting room and walked right out!!! I'd probably STILL be waiting as I'm writing this review!!! Then I yelped "best ER" and Advance ER came highly recommended. It wasn't close to where I was at the moment and I was in ALOT of pain but I took a chance and drove over there. Let me say that it was the BEST decision!!! I have never been treated with so much care, respect and compassion! First off, walking into Advanced ER I felt like I was walking into a 4 star hotel. From start to finish I was treated so well and never had to wait a single minute. I was made to feel so comfortable that I actually wouldn't have minded staying throughout the night. Dr. Rao was such a great doctor and was so easy to talk to. He even knew who my gastroenterologist was and gave him a call to set up my follow up appointment. The next week I even received a get well card in the mail signed by the whole staff that took care of me that night! Wow I'm impressed! read more

I had to go to the ER at 2 am Sunday morning due to severe pain in my lower back and abdomen area. Nice entry and waiting room which was pleasantly surprising. We were promptly greeted and ask to fill out some minor paperwork to get processed and admitted. Friendly front desk person and quickly admitted. We were then greeted by the nurse on duty that evening, Dean, who was an absolute angel and quickly evaluated the symptoms and had the doctor on duty Dr Meier come to discuss what possibly could be the issue. Dr Meier's prediction was proven accurate by the CT scan the perform within an hour of my arrival. They provided me details on my conditions, provided me relief and evaluated me for another hour to make sure symptoms subsided before they provide my release and referral another doctor for further treatment. The day following my visit, I received a follow-up call from the doctor on duty, Dr King who spent 30 minutes on the phone with me to see how I was feeling as well as further explaining what I should expect until my follow-up referral appointment. I highly recommend this hospital as an alternate to visiting your typical hospital ERs. Very pleasant, clean facility with awesome and attentive staff who actually care about you and your well being. Facility is super clean and the staff is very friendly, except for the receptionist who misled me. Only go here if you truly have a medical emergency that requires a hospital Emergency Room. If you come in with something minor like a sore throat, they are going to charge greater than $1k, which my insurance plan would not re-reimburse me for. Unless you have a no-deductible plan, you should think of going to a primary care physician or an "urgent care" clinic. read more

I consider myself very lucky to have health insurance. I have it through my employer. During my stay in Dallas for work, I came down with Strep Throat, and since I have an HMO plan back in Southern California, I called my insurance co and asked where I should go for care. They said there were no contracted providers in Dallas (one dislike about HMOs) but that I should go to an ER or Urgent Care facility and provide my insurance info. They may or may not take it but they instructed me on how to handle situation should they not (which would have meant out of pocket, up front payment then reimbursement later, which nobody wants obviously). I called this place around 4:30 a.m. because I just couldn't sleep well anymore because of the pain from my sore throat. The person quickly answered my question and confirmed that they DO accept my HMO and that they could bill them directly if I chose to go there. So I did. And it was a extremely pleasant experience. I arrived around 5:15 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I was the only one in the waiting area. The person promptly took my info and I filled out some quick paperwork and I was taken in in about 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES people. That's impressive to me and anybody who is sick, especially at this time in the morning. They quickly screened me and we're always polite and courteous, asking me if I needed anything to drink. They quickly verified that I had Strep Throat and gave me options of antibiotics in pill or one time shot. I obviously elected for the latter since it would be one and done. And it was also covered by my insurance. The injection happened, they gave me some pain medication, I waited the mandatory evacuation 15 minute wait time to screen for allergic reactions and once that was done, I was set free. I did obviously go back to the front desk for billing purposes and I was pleasantly informed that I had no co-pay. That was even MORE good news. I forgot to mention that the doctor did see me right after he nurse swabbed my throat and was super polite and courteous too. If you are lucky enough to have health insurance, I would obviously recommend this place to anybody, especially if you are an out-of-town visitor like myself. All in all, I was there about 30-40 minutes total. That's amazing to me because it usually takes that long JUST to be triaged at a regular hospital ER--and then the wait after that is usually brutal. I am now back in my hotel room after picking up some honey (btw, the nurse recommend this instead of cough syrup that cause drowsiness because it's a natural antiviral, antibacterial and antibiotic and coats the throat to soothe the irritation, that's nothing short of amazing AND it tastes amazing) and ibuprofen from the 24-hour pharmacy and I already feel better. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for your help! read more

Don't be fooled by the nice waiting area. This place is nasty. The Gentleman that brought me back looked nasty and unkempt and had a slight odor and when I reached my room there was trash on the floor and the pillow had an odor to it. The trash was filled to capacity to the point of overflow. I will never return here! read more
