The motor and fan were shot and because it is an old system, they had to order a part that was not in stock. Terrible Company, Dont use them even if Fidelity Home Warranty sends you their services. You will be stuck in a loophole between them and Fidelity they Will send you to Collection. They tell you it is one thing one time, and come back with another excuse another time. These guys are trained to make up excuses and it is how they make their money along with Fidelity. Lazy company in it for quick money, avoid them, avoid Fidelity. Pay extra and hire a reputable company with Company name on trucks instead of a white van that shows up with a screwdriver enough to do one job which is to open the panel and reset the switch. I was referred to Advanced Air Control through Fidelity Home Warranty and I just wanted to say a few good words about this service company. I had an issue with my heater. Technician Ruslan came, figured out what the problem was and told me he needed to order a part. A few days later he came back, installed that part, turned the heater on and my heater started working again. Just before Ruslan left - he decided to check my system a little deeper. It took him some time, but he noticed even though the system was heating up the air - once in a while it would unexpectedly stop running. I confirmed that I did notice that same issue myself a month or two earlier: the heater would work, then it would stop working for a minute or two, and then - it would start working back again for a minute or two. Apparently, my heater had another issue, more complicated... Ruslan put an order for another part. It took some time for the company to find the right part, but when it was received - Ruslan came back and installed it in no time. He tested the system and it is working just fine then. I wanted to thank Ruslan and the whole company for providing such a great service and on a very timely basis. Highly recommended! read more

I won the "lazy service" lottery. They were sent by my warranty company to address my unit not blowing cold hair, which we all know is a freon issue. Just needed to be charged up with the coolant. Alex came, and left without giving any report or reason. When I called him for an update, he said "call the warranty company, my report was submitted". I did, they said they won't provide service (even though I've been paying for and getting service now on the unit for 7 years) because they condenser is sitting on the ground, not a pad. This was built 40 years ago and all the other 200 units in the complex are the same! I called him back for an explanation, he said "I submitted my report, there's rust, I couldn't hook up my gauges". I called for a 2nd opinion and the technician reported "I don't know that guy was talking about, I hooked up the gauges without an issue. He must have just been lazy". I hate writing bad reviews but I'm out $1100 now because Alex said "no pad" to the warranty company instead of hooking up the gauges, troubleshooting properly, and adding freon to the unit (which works perfectly fine btw!). read more

We called back to schedule an appointment the next day, specifying that the unit was on a two-story roof (which was also included in the work order from the warranty company. Alex was called by our home warranty to replace our furnace inducer. He was timely and replaced the inducer quickly and promptly. What I liked about Alex is that he didn't find ways to get us to do more work. To me, that will likely result in me calling him to do future work, when needed. My previous experiences with a/c & heating companies have been horrible. While Alex didn't do anything out of the extraordinary to earn 4 or 5 stars, he did exactly what he needed to do. Put in a request for a service with the home warranty - Alex called next day and arrived a couple of hours later. He diagnosed several problems almost immediately and fixed them all. He replaced a busted ac motor - getting the fan out from under the unit at was not easy as the unit is very very old. He transferred the huge part to his van - where he had to disassemble the fan before he could replace the motor. He then replaced and checked all the air filters and finally applied flex seal to the roof ducting whilst adding more freon to the system. If I could give a zero review, I would. Do not use this disrespectful company! During the beginning of summer when the weather was heating up, my insurance referred this company to me. I called Alex and arranged for service on a day in which I took off work just to meet the appointment since It was very hot. I advised Alex that I had elderly relatives in my home and that they needed air conditioning. He responded by telling me they would be at my home between 11 am and 2 pm and to this I agreed. At 2:30 pm I started getting nervous that they would not show up. At 3:10 they had not shown up. I called Alex but only to reach voice mail. I left 7 messages and my insurance company left 10. He never answered or returned the call. Didn't even have the decency to let me know they couldn't make the appointment. Horrible customer service!
