Got a quick appointment when I wanted it and my Tech, Edwyn, showed up right on time. Edwyn, did a great job, told me everything he was going to do and did, and gave me options for the future to help my system stay running for longer. Absolute pro! Booking him to come out for the furnace when the weather turns colder (when that ever happens). Edwyn and the team at Air Force are great. They will be my first call from here on out for HVAC needs.

But, I timed the visit, and it was a few minutes under an hour, and that included everything; the estimate and repair labor. The bill was $ 758.00 for that hour. I talked to the repairman about the cost of parts versus labor and he said they were not separated out. I talked to the business owner later on. He said that of the $758, the parts were about $80....although I found Amazon is cheaper. He did go through his costs with me, stating they were part of the job, but most had nothing to do with the repair but rather, costs of running a large corporation ......costs such as .....employee benefits ......travel time to and from the job ......office management ......payments on his fleet of trucks, my guess ......profit for the owner that the worker never receives. On the other hand, the costs of a self-employed serviceman would be parts and labor only, in his bill, usually $50-$100 an hour plus parts. So, bottom line, it was a simple job with cheap parts which I accepted ....trusting that it would require more time and cost than it actually did. My bad, I should have gotten another estimate, which means a second cost for a second estimate, but in this case I should have paid it. SINCE I KNEW THE REPAIR THAT WAS NEEDED, I SHOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO BARGAIN A BIT LOWER WITH SUBSEQUENT CONTRACTORS... SOMETHING I WILL REMEMBER IN MY FUTURE CONTRACTED JOBS. My view, everything was legal, but the service of a large air conditioning company should be noticeably cheaper or else it offers no benefit to offset the cost. I saw no such benefit. Finally, I would encourage you to talk to the owner, he's pleasant and well spoken. He will have a lot to say.

My sales rep, Jesse Cruz was really, responsive & easy to work with from my initial contact and throughout the project until completion. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They arrived on time each day, kept me informed throughout the project, and completed the installation in only two days as promised. Their crew was amazing, did great work, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. They installed my new system, replaced all of the ductwork, upgrade my home to a dual zone system and made sure everything was completed professionally to meet my goals for my home. If you're looking for a reliable HVAC contractor that is honest, punctual, and does quality work, I would definitely recommend Conejo Heating & Air. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm very happy with the installation and the service they provided.

We had a girl Plumber, Stacie, and my daughters were super excited about that. She fixed my sink and shower in no time flat! I paid around 300 for my garbage disposal BUT 250 to change out an outlet under my sink (Which seemed a little high but I didn't have time to research new quotes.) I would probably use them again because it was easy to schedule and everyone that came was great.

5 Stars - Sean at Fusion Star Sets the Gold Standard for Professionalism…read more I recently got multiple bids for a full central HVAC replacement and complete duct redesign on my home in the valley. While I held off on my project for now, I have to give Sean at Fusion Star an enthusiastic and well-deserved 5-star review. Sean delivered the most comprehensive, professional, and detailed proposal among all -- a full 15-page document that spelled out every single detail with exact equipment models, clear scope of work, diagrams, attic prep requirements, and thoughtful exclusions. In a field where many contractors cut corners, give vague estimates, or try to low-ball with minimal information, Fusion Star's proposal stood head and shoulders above everyone else in quality, transparency, and legitimacy. Even after I let Sean know I was pausing my project, he continued offering thoughtful advice on what to double-check and which key items I should make sure were included if I went with anyone else in the future -- all with zero benefit to him. That level of genuine care and integrity is rare and extremely commendable. If you're looking for a legitimate, high-quality HVAC contractor who truly puts the customer and craftsmanship first, I highly recommend Sean at Fusion Star. They earned my business in every way and I won't hesitate to call them first when resuming my project or any related future work. Thank you, Sean -- you run a class-act operation.

In the past, I had always used Conejo Heating and Plumbing, but unfortunately I had a really dishonest experience with their plumber last week and no longer felt comfortable supporting that company. So I turned to Yelp and found this company. I reached out and received a very quick response from Sean. He was able to come out just a few hours later, successfully diagnose the problem, and replace a part for a very reasonable price. He was honest and transparent, and I really appreciated that he tried a few different solutions before getting the unit up and running. I'm happy to say I've found a new go-to AC company. It's a smaller business, which I always like to support whenever possible. Highly recommend!

I'm really happy to be writing this. It's been 11 years since I left my first review of AirWorks,…read moreand I still stand by what I said back then. I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. I am very happy with how they addressed this past issue and will be calling them in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Air Works…read more We originally called because we were having an odor/fumes from our garage being pulled into our home through the downstairs HVAC system. That was the primary reason for the service call and the problem we specifically wanted corrected. Nick came to our home and spent a couple of hours going through the system with us. He quoted approximately $4,500, which was significantly higher than other estimates we had received. We agreed to move forward because he represented that they were going to do substantially more work, including addressing the air leakage from the garage, expanding/sealing the return area so it would not continue pulling garage air into the house, and making changes upstairs to improve airflow so so much air was not being directed into the primary bedroom. Based on those conversations, we were told the downstairs system would be properly sealed and the garage-air problem would be corrected. Unfortunately, when the technicians were finishing their work, it became apparent that the most important part of the job -- stopping air from being pulled in from the garage -- was not included on their work order. I raised the issue while the technicians were still here. They contacted Nick, and we were then told that sealing that area would be done when we eventually replaced the entire HVAC system. Replacing the entire system had never been part of our agreement or the reason we approved this $4,500 job. Had we been told beforehand that the work being proposed would not address the fumes/garage-air issue, we would not have authorized the work. The technicians who came to our home were professional, polite, and clearly trying to do the job they had been given. I actually feel badly for them because they seemed to have walked into a situation where they had not been given all of the information that had been discussed during the sales appointment. The frustrating part is that we spent a significant amount of time explaining exactly what the problem was and what we needed fixed. Yet after spending approximately $4,500, the original problem remains. I still cannot comfortably run my downstairs AC because the same smell is coming into the house. UPDATE: After I posted this review, Nick called us. Unfortunately, instead of trying to resolve the problem, the conversation became argumentative and his description of what had been discussed was very different from what we were told when we agreed to the work. This was especially concerning because the technicians had already contacted him while they were at our home regarding the same issue. Again, the reason we called Air Works was to stop garage air/fumes from entering our downstairs HVAC system. That problem was not fixed. We had previously used Air Force HVAC company for years and decided to try Air Works based on a recommendation. I regret that decision. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Air Works get every single promised repair and outcome specifically written into the work order before authorizing the job, particularly if the recommendation is coming from the salesperson rather than the technicians who will actually be performing the work.
