I described what was happening and he started to troubleshoot the issue. Kevin (the tech) continue to work on the unit over the next couple hours. He took his time to eliminate all variables to determine the root cause of the problem. Kevin explained each step he was trying to ensure I know what may be issue. He located the issue, but he did not have the part on the truck. Kevin explained that the part was not needed during the warm summer days, so he was able to bypass the issue without causing any damage to the unit so my family could have cool air over the holidays. On the next workday, Kevin returned with the needed part and corrected the issue. Many thanks to Kevin and his strong work ethic to ensure the customer was happy and cool during the hot summer days. The technician called me just before noon on Wednesday and told me he'd arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived just when he said. He (Josh) did a great job. He was very thorough. He checked the refrigerant level and the starting capacitor and thoroughly cleaned the coils. Took maybe 45 minutes.

One of the first nights we used it, it cut off because it wasn't draining properly. Before that, the installers drilled the holes for the upstairs registers in wrong place. The workers denied that they did it! To be honest, the company did make that right. The holes were filled and a painter came in to touch up. A few times a week during the summer, I have to go upstairs and dry out the the area around the air handler in the attic. Attached are some photos of the sweating of the upstairs unit and the improperly drilled holes. I'll not be using them for anything else. We had to replace our downstairs unit this summer. Needless to say, we didn't use Robersons!

T & D Heating and Cooling wired and serviced a brand new Mitsubishi mini-split system and branch…read morebox. I was forced to call them several times because the lines kept freezing up (see attached photo) it would not cool and the system would display a fault code. Despite my efforts explaining these problems, Thomas Holley (owner) & Graeme Chipperfield (tech) kept telling me there was nothing wrong... yet the system would never operate correctly. So I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, several things were found wrong that T&D did; (1) the refrigerant was serviced wrong, (2) they did not pull the contamination out of the system and (3) the system was addressed wrong (see description on attached invoice). Several minutes after the Jacksonville tech left, the fault code came back. I called the tech and explained what was happening. He asked me to check the wiring at the branch box to see if the indoor units A & B were crossed. When I checked, (4) they were in fact crossed... I re-wired them and the the fault code disappeared. After all these corrections were made, the system has been operating without any problems, no line freezing, it cools/heats and no fault codes. I contacted T&D owners Thomas & Denise Holley several times asking for a "partial refund" from the $808.00 I paid them for the work they did wrong. I provided them with documentation from Jacksonville Heating Contractors and information from Mitsubishi Tech Support that identifies what they did was incorrect. But they refuse to even talk with me about this and take responsibility for the work they performed. T&D has shown no business ethics and the owners have no integrity to make this right. Beware!

From the outset, we were sold a vision of reliability. A reputable company, a full-service experience, and the comfort of knowing our tenant would be taken care of. What we received instead was a dysfunctional unit from day one. Two weeks later, it's still not working--and not a single person at Delcor is stepping up to resolve the issue in any meaningful way. I'm not just speaking as a frustrated customer--I'm speaking as someone who tried to do everything right. We didn't go with a cut-rate contractor. We chose a well-known company and paid upfront for a full system. That trust was met with radio silence, departmental runarounds, and a shocking lack of urgency. Let me be clear: the unit had defects from the moment it was declared "installed." It leaked. It was missing critical components. And instead of taking accountability, Delcor has chosen delay over resolution. They continue to request final payment for a job that isn't done. Not working. Not livable. In the meantime, we had no choice but to spend more out of pocket for a temporary cooling solution--just so a human being wouldn't have to suffer in an unconditioned space during a heatwave.
