have had great experience with Micheal over many years. However, recent experience was beyond awful. he sent a guy to fix our ice maker... twice... wasn't fixed the first time. after second visit we ended up with water all over hardwood kitchen floor. When I contacted Michael directly he said he would get back to me when he could figure things out?! Wouldnt commit to coming out (himself) to fix it! so we have a mess, ice maker doesn't work, and I'm out $325. I will NEVER call him again. I would call these guy back in a heartbeat. Super professional and super fast. After a self-cleaning cycle my oven stopped heating. A quick google search told me that was a common problem, but taking out the oven and replacing the fuse myself? No, that could result in disaster. So I gave these guys a call and Alex was able to come by the same day. He called first and he was very friendly. He gave me an estimate prior to beginning work and within 1 hour, I had a working oven and the price was more than reasonable. One thing I noticed was that Alex was extra careful not to cause any damage to floors or make a mess while he was working. I really appreciated that. I went with Advanced Applianced Repair because of the high rating and positive customer feedback I found on Google reviews. I have had to call this company out three times to repair the same issue with my Maytag refrigerator. Each time the repair technician said it was ultimately a different issue even though the symptoms were the same. I have now paid more than half of what the refrigerator originally cost (and about half of what a new one would cost me to purchase) in these "repairs". Only one of the three "repairs" actually resulted in any improvement, yet I still face the same symptoms. I asked if it would be better for me to buy a new refrigerator and was told it was ultimately up to me but that the repair would work, so I trusted the technician. I called on Monday morning and left a message. I was IMMEDIATLY called back and spoke to a kind gentleman who said he could be out by 12. He arrived on time and diagnosed and had it fixed in 45 minutes. The bill was very generous in price and the service was nothing less than excellent. My dryer stopped working. I called this company (Advanced Appliance Repair in Cumming, GA) and they sent someone out. He was there for two hours. I kept checking in with him. I saw that he googled the dryer type and what could be the possible problems, he had to call someone to ask about it and all he could think to do was to clean out the lint filter. He kept complaining about the dryer brand and did not want to take it apart to clean. So he asked me to go get a stick for him so he could drag it through the lint filter. When that didn't work, I asked him to take it apart. He finally agreed. He still couldn't fix it. He said that the control panel was out and that it would be around $500 to fix. I explained that I understood, but we would probably not go that route. He pretended to put the dryer back together. He complained as he was leaving that he had to spend two hours taking apart a dryer. Although, I don't think he realized I overheard him. When I had to move the dryer several days later, it fell to pieces because he didn't attach anything. I'm just grateful my children didn't go in there and touch it! He did NOT run my credit card on site, but waited a week later to run it. He was quite unprofessional, which I could have overlooked, but he didn't have the skills to back it up. At one point, he was literally sitting on my laundry room floor playing chess on his phone! I would NOT recommend using this company, ESPECIALLY to anyone that is home alone with their children. read more

I am very sad to say that I have to update my previous review for this company. Mike never went to my rental house personally to fix my dishwasher, instead he sent someone else. After about 1 week or so, my dishwasher started not draining again(the same exact problem as before). I called Mike and expected the same patience and understanding that I got from him the first time before he got my business. I left him a message, and after awhile when he called me back and I explained to him that my dishwasher was still not draining, he seemed very irritated and upset with me. His tone of voice was not friendly; he was rude, and continued to tell me that the problem is our fault because the dishes are not being rinsed , and that he offers no warranties of any kind. I explained to him that a year down the road, I can understand if he didn't want to offer me a warranty, but only after a week or so, if the problem still exists, I would at the very least expect him to go and look at it before guessing, take care of the problem and not charge me again unless if it's a new issue causing the problem. His told me that he is not going to send his repair guy over to my house to fix my nasty, dirty dishwasher and not charge me again. This is extremely unprofessional and rude language to use, extremely bad customer service, and just simply wrong. I have already told everyone I know how unhappy I am with this company, and I will NEVER EVER use them again. read more

Best appliance repair service I've used in years. I had problems with my microwave and called Advanced Appliances Repair. I described the problem. The technician said it would require a specific part and that he'd check the price and call back and he did. He gave me a quote and set an appointment for the next day, giving us a two hour window. He made the appointment and replaced the part as described. The service was quick and reliable. The technician really knew what he was doing and the company met their commitments. I always try to support local businesses. In this case, the local business was better than anyone else we could have found. The next time I have a problem with any appliance I'm contacted Advanced Appliances Repair. They do great work for a good price and they honor their commitments. read more

They replaced a pump in my Bosch dishwasher. Original problem still exists and they've cashed my check and will not return phone calls. Obviously they don't know how to diagnose this dishwasher. I would steer clear of these guys. read more

I just had a service call from absolute Appliance. Very prompt , professional. Very fast response , called Friday and appointment was Saturday morning. Unfortunately my wine cooler was to expensive to repair , but appreciated the explanation and time he spent with me. I would recommend them if the need arises for an appliance repair. read more
