Friendly fast service that is super affordable. - I had an appointment at 10 and they got me out of here in less than 10 minutes... I didn't even finish the freshly brewed coffee they had available in their clean reception area - Thank you Steve and Ryan! I wish I found them when we first moved to LE in 2015. When I searched for a smog check in 2015 I ended up paying more than my car registration. Something told me to Google search for my smog check this year and Advanced Auto Care popped up. Such a blessing! I have a 2001 Lexus and the registration is $145 the smog check is only costing $39.95. Will definitely be a repeat customer. When driving down Collier, make a right at Riverside drive by the cemetery, and their facility is in the same parking lot as the recycling center. read more

I personally don't recommend this place to any one. Over priced hwy robbery. The parts for my daughters car cost less than 650.00. Charged us 2500.00. So if the hourly shop rate is 100.00 per hour it took 18 man hrs to do a clutch. Never again will you rip my family or frends off. read more

We needed to smog check our grandson's 1998 Oldsmobile, to transfer title. As AAA members, we went to Advanced Auto Care (AAC) because they are a preferred AAA shop. AAC provided us with the service we needed to get the car to pass smog. We were so impressed with their experience, work ethnic, honesty, integrity and professionalism, that we took our 2007 Chevy Tahoe for service. We were experiencing noisy and rough driving conditions. They test drove our SUV and provided a thorough description of what was needed for parts and labor to fix the problems. I took my 2012 ford flex in to get checked out before a long trip (change the oil ETC.) They check out everything and found a leak in my water pump , I set a appointment for that to be done when I got back , It seem a little high on price ($1500.00) but at the same time they told me I should get other things done while they had certain parts off to save labor cost (change plugs/timing chains/belts) which took it to @ $1995.00. I looked up how to replace water pump and seen why it was so much (12.5 hr labor pump inside the engine & very complex job) Got back and took it in for work . I had to rent a car during this time 3 days , The job took longer and steve offer to take care of the rental for the remainder time , They finished the job and ran very good , 3 days later the car was running bad took it back in and they looked at it and said they would fix it No charge.it was a seal or something and they said they would do there best to get it done same day , They all went to work on it asap to get it done as they did so I didn't have to rent another car for work . Steve and Ryan run a good ship. Up front with you and back there work . It's hard to find honest and good working mechanics and back up their work . 2016-2017: Have taken my two vehicles for repairs & service. My Toyota Car and Old Silverado Truck. They fixed my broken door and replaced my windshield. Advanced Auto Care provided better Customer Service than Temecula Toyota Dealership who REFUSED to Repair a Recall on the Faulty Drivers Door! Absolutely amazing, have had multiple vehicles maintained from old to new. I had a transmission replaced brand New from the factory. Have had better service here then DCH Kia who not only left the cars worse but even stole a battery that was shipped to them from the factory due to a recall. The new service manager wanted to get me back but Advanced Auto Care was all over it and transferred the dealer paperwork to their system and brought my 2012 and 2013 vehicles up to date with recommended services in half the time for half the price. I then took an 1996 Isuzu Rodeo for power windows and an oil change and they had it all done in a day. I also took a 2002 F150 for AC, Heater Core and the works. Truck ran like a brand new truck and they stood by their word. I have then avoided all dealerships and trust this place with all my vehicle issues and recommend my friends to this place. read more

As a substitute teacher who does a lot of driving to various school sites and as a ride-share driver for Lyft and Uber, it's mandatory that I have a reliable vehicle. I started taking my PT Cruiser to Steve and Ryan about three years ago, when I needed a smog check to renew my car registration. They were very efficient and up front. I was impressed with the amount of time Steve would spend to explain the diagnostic test results and what needed to be done asap or what could wait until a future date. I won't go anywhere else. I agree with the positive reviews here. I feel that I've developed a trust relationship with them and their work. Not only that, because I was able to apply for a NAPA credit card for all of my auto care needs through them, I've never had to be concerned about doing the necessary repairs and regular maintenance. My credit score went up from the use of the card, and ironically, with great credit, I was able to purchase a brand new Prius (just last Friday). I will no longer be seeing Steve and Ryan for my current auto needs. However, my recently licensed daughter inherited the P.T Cruiser from me, and she will be taking her baby to Advanced Auto Care to keep up with the maintenance of her car. I had a Lexus RX350 and was overheated, car will not start at all. My car was taken here the wk of xmas and I was told that it needs a new engine. The cost was not in my budget, so my car was there for a bit over 2wks. And I thank God for Steve, his a manager there. He was such a life saver at this difficult times we are facing. Long story short, he waived the storage fees and I only paid for the diagnostic $125. The shop itself is super high tech and so as the mechanics doing the job. Steve even have his guys helped pushed my car on to the tow dolly, which was so appreciated. I went to Advanced Auto and I thought the guys were really nice and everything was great. But they never told me I was going to have to pay $90 for an estimate and then only half of it would be applied to the work. Most places apply the whole estimate. They also charged me a lot more for the work then what it actually cost me when I went to another shop. I could not believe the difference in price. They knew I was a single woman and I didn't have the money for how much they were charging me but yet all they did was say oh well we can Finance you. I guess what I'm trying to say is buyer beware shop around cuz there are other mechanics that you can get the same work done for a lot less. read more

The prices are so much more reasonable than the dealership and AAC actually performs more checks on my vehicle than the dealer recommends - for a less expensive price! Had both of our cars smogged here and they provide great service for a special price of $29.99 +certificate. Only downside, out car failed the smog first time around and I thought they would have not charged us anything since it failed but guess they don't do that. Some mechanics assume all women are car dummies, but I was treated very well. They even have a shuttle service to take you home and pick you back up when your car is ready. The worst customer service I have ever had from a repair shop. I tried to let steve know exactly what was wrong with my car and I asked how much it would cost to fix it. He proceeded to argue with me to get a diagnostic and told me he couldn't help me unless I got a diagnostic. I wanted to replace my whole transmission but I guess looking at my car is more important than actually fixing it. If your going to get work done at this shop keep in mind their diagnostic is 90 dollars and to buy your own scanner is 90 dollars they dont have the customer in mind they just want their 90 dollars. read more

OMG, this shop is the best! Both Steve and Ryan are awesome guys, very knowledgeable when it comes to cars and professional too! I am so happy to have found, finally a shop that I can trust will do a great job on my cars. Now, I have taken 3 cars to these guys and those three cars have been left almost like new. Seriously take your car there, you will not be disappointed. Oh, one more thing...their prices are in my opinion pretty darn good, I could almost say cheap but as we all know when it comes to our cars...it's never cheap so I would say very reasonable. I base reasonable pricing due to a particular job that I know my 2004 Honda Accord needed but always put aside because of the cost, I was told in 2 different places that it would cost $600-$700 until I took it to Steve and Ryan who charged only $200. I took my 1992 Toyota Pickup in for a slight timing problem. My truck passed smog the last time tested so I knew there could not be much to consider. This shop had my truck over THREE days. I called end of first day......we could not get to it today. Second day, they could not get to it. Third day, they finally got to it. This would be a small job to them, but they decided to blow-up the job telling me they removed my camshaft cover to inspect the timing chain to be "spot-on" timing. I immediately began to suspect BULL-S. If I had a sticker hidden in the valve cover (unbroken) I could call them out for lying. I did not. They had me pay $388 for a throttle position sensor. This is something with a code reader they could have found without the excessive "work" they billed me for. I will NEVER take my truck there again. read more

I've been going there for a long long time , I just had them worked on my car and it cost me about $1300 to fix , find out after I took it back 3 times that my car is not fixed or they fixed something else unnecessary I am assuming they didn't now what's wrong with it . I took it to the dealer ship and they told me that the part they used it's not new ( after the market part ) even though the owner of the shop said it's new . The part they used is the original put not new ( I paid for a new part ) , so there was another problem with the car . any way I was very very disappointed from The owner Steve because I trusted him to fix all my cars . Never will do business again with him . I was reading another review from a lady and I think they did the same thing to her and she said that they may look nice and friendly put its not true . The only place that was courteous on the phone, and just so happened to be the cheapest for a smog check with a deal they had going on. Very informative with the paper work, and the visit was fast and efficient. Before leaving I mentioned/asked about the service light and mileage that, Jiffy ---- "Didn't know how to reset"(1st&last time goin there) and they reset it with a professional and friendly manner. Definitely tryin them out for any other car maintenance in the future, since my family has been getting you know what, in our you know what's at Express T---- and never goin back.
