I got a quote for brake job, $239 he says, so, I bring the car in next morning, again they say $239, I sign the thing and leave the car there, 25 minutes I get a call from them saying you need rotors, plus with our 15 point inspection you also need back brakes...it'll be $567. I say " I never agreed to a $567 brake job, I agreed to a$239 brake job, that's what I signed, and im on a fixed income on social security, I can't afford a $567 brake job, put my car back together. I get there and he says " I'm charging you $93 for labor" I said You never stated you were charging me $93 if I disagreed to the job" He says " you agreed to do the job" I said " Never agreed to a $567 brake job, I agreed to a $239 brake job, nor did you state up front you'd charge me $93 if I disagreed with your price, this is Bullsh#@" Keep away from these con artist bait and hook specialists... read more

Beware. The former owner, Rick Bilger no longer owns this outfit. The new operation is a ripoff. The prices are steep and the work is bad at best. I had several things to be repaired, two of which broke again one and three weeks later respectively. When approaching the company about their warranty, I get the song and dance....oh, well, you know some of things can break. A second opinion from another mechanic made it clear, that all the things that went bad within the last month were because they were installed wrong. Stay away from that place. read more

They have wasted my time multiple days when I made appointments early in the morning, for a job they didn't do right the first time. Didn't even get to look at my vehicle today when I made an appointment last week for 8 in the morning. The first time I took it in they messed up the alignment so bad putting things back together (on a Friday) I had to take it to a shop 1st thing on a Saturday morning (they're closed weekends) to have the alignment done. I had just moved to town, and suddenly noticed issues while braking. I made an appointment online after reading many reviews and looking over their website. A little while later I received a phone call to verify the appointment and asked what the issue seemed to be. They moved my appointment up two hours the next day. In the mean time, my boyfriends trucks abs system was on the fritz, so we called and they got his car in right away. Both vehicles were fixed and on the road the next day. I felt comfortable knowing they were licensed technicians and was never made to feel inferior or taken advantage of. There was a charge for the inspection, but I felt better knowing they were looking at the whole vehicle. They emailed a list of suggested repairs with a quote, and then asked how I would proceed. This as an honest repair shop. They even have a courtesy van. They repaired my car at a fair price the first time. They ask a lot of questions up front, which helps their mechanics spend less time diagnosing and repairing. They charge customers less money as a result. read more

Never EVER go here!!! I went for a simple taillight that was out and they wanted to charge me $500 to replace it! I decided I would just buy it online BUT they still wanted to charge me $120 for a half hour of their time!!! I was told it would be $20 if it was something simple (which it was)!!! read more

Would not recommend. They started out by keeping my vehicle for 5 extra days and on the original day I was supposed to pick it up they called 15 minutes before I was to come and get it and said they 'lost' a tech and it wouldn't be done until the following Monday. Wouldn't you know if a vehicle isn't going to be finished way before 15 minutes before pick up time? They fixed my rear differential and a week later I heard the same noise again so they said they would recheck their work and fix it. They 'fixed' it and the sound was louder this time. I had a certified mechanic look into it and he found that they got the tooth pattern wrong on the gears which they apparently don't know anything about. They also broke my emergency brake. Claimed it was broken when they got it and made me feel like I was the liar.. read more

I had an alternator and battery issue on my way to work. I called to see if I could drop my vehicle off, with no appointment and AAP was very accommodating and worked my car in. They were very helpful, and noticed some additional issues (which I knew about) to address soon. They got my parts in and I had my vehicle the next day. I think it was a little over priced, but for having a last minute issue and getting the help I needed, I was okay with paying for their service. Never go to this shop unless you want to be scolded by the owner, Rick Bilger. I called them on phone to schedule an service and they told me the service was only $17. When I arrived at the shop, the cost was much higher and I decided not to take the service. I was scolded by the owner when I was walking out of the shop. I thought this is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I brought my car in for a fuel leak and a shimmy in the steering. The fuel pumps for this run about $800 for both and a major cost for labor to remove the driveline and fuel tank. A couple of hours later, Rick's crew called to tell me that my car was ready for pick up. My bill was $29.00! The Tech found that there was a recall on my vehicle and today it's getting repaired for $0. This ethical business saved me $1000 or more. Nice to experience professional integrity. One of the worst auto shops I have ever been to. Now I have been screwed over being a woman and all they think I know nothing about cars in which I have worked at an auto shop for wanting to be one of the only women who know what they are talking about. My A/C wasn't working so they found that the radiators high speed level wasn't working and the whole thing needed to be replaced when I asked them how much it would cost he gave me the estimate of 781 dollars..... I told them the hell with that and proceeded to call other shops three other shops one in which we chose Moonlight auto gave me an estimate of 216.......with tax and everything its almost a 600 dollar difference. To me that is the biggest bull honkey I have ever heard. So sorry advance auto pros that you couldn't screw over a woman who knew better I hope you stop getting business for being so overly priced its like stealing. read more

This is one of the worst repair shops I have ever been to. The first time I went it was to get the brake fluid flushed. I naturally assumed that they did a decent job. Come to find out that my brake fluid was polluted again the next time I took it in. (This was a different shop). I took it back to them and they offered to flush it again for free. Figuring it was s simple mistake and since they were so nice about it, I agreed. I also had them inspect the front drivers suspension because I was hearing a rattle. They had my truck all day and supposedly fixed the cause of the rattling. In addition, I had them swap my catalytic converter out for a new one, and change the transfer case oil. Both those jobs went smooth. I hope I don't find out differently in the future. I also had them do a general inspection of the vehicle. This included a detailed brake inspection. After picking up the vehicle at the end of the day, the rattle was still there after I was assured it was fixed. I immediately took it back and they said to bring it back in the morning and they will take a look. Not satisfied, I took it home and inspected it myself. After working on it all day and doing a 90 dollar brake inspection, they failed to miss that cause of the rattle was 2 LOOSE CALIPER BOLTS AND A LOOSE BRAKE LINE BRACKET. Not only was this obvious after looking at the vehicle, but it was incredibly dangerous for me to have driven off with it like that. Now thoroughly irritated, I had the brake fluid re inspected by a different shop. It was still contaminated. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an auto mechanic that is supposedly certified by the better business bureau. I am absolutely disgusted and will never take my vehicle back there again. They are expensive, inept, and downright dishonest. read more
