I purchased my car from Advanced Auto Sales in October of 2019 and since buying it I have had nothing but problems! Within the first week I was back because the check engine light came on. It took me 3 weeks after purchasing to get an inspection sticker. After getting the check engine light fixed I had to go back two other times for the same issue that they couldn't seem to fix. I also had to get the heater core replaced and a few other repairs that cost me $1000. I haven't even had the car for three full months, but have already put in so much money in repairs. This place sold me a lemon. Do NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!! First week after I bought my Sonata I was already running into problems. I took the car back to this dealership and the man who had been helping me, Jimmy. They fixed my car in under 24 hours, which the mechanics who "work there" just put a temporary "bandaid" over the problem. I now had to take my car to MY mechanic and another third party to get honest answers who told me that Advances Auto Sales had lied to us about the Sonata's history and any potential problems with it. I drove up from Salem, MA because I liked the selection & had the vehicle I had been looking for, for a few years. The vehicle was clean & in very good condition. The sales guys were extremely accommodating, letting me inspect the vehicle & go for a fairly long test drive (on the highway). They were willing to work with me on the price & as it was late when we closed the deal, they had the vehicle ready for me the next day at the same time. I was running late & they waited for me. I saw all the negative ratings and had to give mine. I went to other dealerships and used car places.. horrible service and junk cars. Being a customer service person and a mechanics daughter I have knowledge in both and this was the best vehicle, best price and best experience ever! The vehicle was in perfect condition and interior like new and they were even able to offer a discount and not only take care of the registration; but, get my inspection sticker for me and also did not charge me for this! As I sat there with a 3 yr old who made himself at home.. the final process for paperwork was a quick and easy transaction. I've purchased new vehicles at dealerships and this was a pleasurable and fast and courteous experience and it was on the road in 24hrs. I will definitely be sending my friends and family when they need vehicles. This place is awesome and another thing to add is that there's no pushy salesman or shady vibes. A positive experience, happy customer and a great place to refer to everyone. I am rating them highly because it was a simple transaction where I think they got the big things right, and I was able to purchase the vehicle at a very fair price. I bought a 2013 Acura MDX at their place in October 2017. I liked that they let my wife and I test drive the car without them being in the vehicle. Later on, they were willing to let me go to my auto mechanic check out the car prior to continuing with negotiations. (They were within 15 miles). The car checked out good and I could tell that they had done the following: Replaced all 4 tires (albeit with low budget tires...not great but we can work with them), fully detailed the car, new wiper blades, new oil, and I am sure they did a couple other things...it was in good shape. The car checked out at my mechanic. They also discounted the car fairly and took into account that it did not have mats and needed a second computerized key. I did not finance the car so that simplified things as well. We've had the car for 3 weeks now and we are happy with it. Based on this, I do recommend checking out Advanced Auto Sales. read more

The worst place to buy a car they sell you lemons. Their cars have so many problems they are conartist who shouldnt be in bussiness at all. they lie and treat you so rude after they get your money luckily I backed out before the bank can release funds and theyre giving me a hard time about getting my deposit but thats why we have laws, and they are in trouble. Do not go here save yourself the hassel they are awful people who lie and steal. the tire rode was coming off the vehicle basically and failed inspection they dont care this place is a nightmare STAY AWAY!!! read more

I definitely give it one star,had car 5 mths been there 4 out of 5 did they fix things yes but took long and my opinion is they mad about 5000 and I'm really not happy cars worth 4500 wow but t do like car,had eight things go wrong radio still doesn't work,hopefully Lee helps me out with this extended warranty read more

Terrible place to buy a car or truck. Purchased a vehicle for 10k, and it didn't pass inspection. Was told by owner " My mechanic has gone thru the whole car and it has no problems, Well tie rod was cracked how a mechanic missed that ? Then 3 weeks after I buy it it wont start well the batt was dead ok again "My mechanic went thru the car well the terminals were rotted and it was a 7 year old factory batt. But wait it gets better the car had a noise was told by the owner it was just the new tires well no the bearings were gone. The owner is very rude and as the other reviews not just from here, same he gave me a hard time, did not in my mind give a crap about the buyer just the cash. And he put my families life in danger selling a car with a cracked tie rod and bad bearing..... IF YOU WANT TO GET RAN OVER THE COALS AND HAVE A PROBLEM VEHICLE THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. read more

So first I will address that it took multiple tries and a long time of waiting just to get a hold of a salesman. It may be overwhelming but it is also a lot easier when a salesman approaches you. After finding and testing a car I asked the salesman if there were any issues and I was specifically trying to hint at the breaks because they look rusted and would not last a while. He assured me that the car had no issues. So after the test drive we went in and talked about price. I was getting a decent deal but he wouldn't even negotiate with me, wouldn't even give me a student AND military discount. At the time I still believed the price was good so I stuck with it idiotically. After the initial process I ended up having to change my 1000 down payment to a 1500 down payment and then he told me I still needed to pay 340 dollars in order to receive a decent monthly bill. Since I needed a car badly I agreed, again idiotically. The whole initial process was about 2000 but that's also the fact that Massachusetts is a fairly expensive place so I get that. Going back to what I said about the car having no problems I will just flat out say front and rear wipers are gone, battery was completely dead after 3 weeks, fuze blown, breaks hit the head, suspension is gone and needs replacing. This car hasn't even been off the lot for 2 months. My point is hear guys take terrible care of their vehicles and don't actually care about vehicle quality, they only care about getting paid. Please if you're still reading go anywhere else. You'd even be better off buying a car off craigslist because these guys are no good. If you are looking for a replacement or a first car for your teen or anything then please do not go here. read more

Purchased more than one lemon here. Dash lights came on within a week of purchase and I was told they couldn't help me until they stayed on. Naturally now that is out of warranty they do stay on. Per my mechanic and BMW they lied. They said the computer keeps track of every idiot light that comes on and they just have to read it. BMW thinks it's 1 a crossed wire or 2 the on-board computer. Probably gonna cost me a fortune. Problem 2 with same car. Seat belt warning kept going off on passenger seat . They tried to fix and when they couldn't the took my perfect condition seat and replaced with a badly worn one. I said it was not acceptable and they said I would have to pay to get it reupholstered. They gave me the number of a guy that does work for them It was going to cost 225.00 which I didn't have. I spoke with them frequently telling them I didn't have the money yet please hold on to my seat. Now I call a week ago and say I want it back in and they say no problem just come on down. Lies!!! Today they say they don't have my seat I abandoned it. SMH. They also said that I accepted the car back with the crappy seat so it is my problem. Bought another car from then that was supposedly RE-Certified!!!!! Had problem with a strut guess what not covered. Now possible alternator you guessed not covered and also out of warranty anyway. Have a friend who purchased a lemon from them too. Unfortunately told me when it was too late not to buy anything from them they are crooks. Well I am getting a lawyer and maybe it's too late for me and maybe not but it's not too late for you. Buyer beware. If you already purchased a car from them and something isn't right return it before it's too late. They smile and play you until your warranty is over then oh well. BTW did I mention the other car they sold us couldn't pass inspection. Bald tires! Yes they replaced them but who sells a car with bald tires? What kind of place are they running. Did they really think we wouldn't notice? Again SMH you have been warned.
