With all the healthcare fraud and breeches...there was so way I was going to do that. The receptionists at ContinuEM were super nice and got me checked in within 5 mins. Never did they ask me for anything financial other than my copay which was expected. Once I saw the doctor, boy was he thorough. He explained what was going on, what to expect and what I was doing that could make things worse. They gave me a steroid pill right there in the office - no need to go to the pharmacy! And they observed me after I took the pills to make sure I didn't have a reaction. It was actually a good thing that Exer didn't work out!

They did X-rays and was told the radiologist wasn't in and they'd confirm with me today if there is a fracture. I've called twice today and still they tell me the report is not back yet. I am baffled. This is supposed to be URGENT care. The receptionist just told me that they could have it ready tomorrow. I have sons who have had fractures and the urgent care place I went to were able to tell me right then and there. I will likely take her to my usual place today and what a waste of time, money and energy spent here.

The exam bed has no paper nor sheets, during this Covid19 they should at least have the bed covered, once my session was over they didn't even provide any towels nor paper towels/tissue to wipe ultrasound gel off my belly I had to wipe with my undershirt. I came here as a result of an Injury. The process has been brutal and difficult. Needing multiple appointments and seeing different medical staff. Since booking this appointment I have been nothing but promt and proactive. Original my appt was at 8 am and I had a van left asking me to come in early at 7:45 so I agreed being accommodating for them. I arrived at 7:38 and the door was locked so I drove next door the Taco and waiting to see if a car would pull in soo once I saw a black Prius pull in I got in my car and drove right back Into the parking lot. It's now 7:48 and I wait for the employees to unlock the door and then I walk in. Once I walk-in I let them know I was there for a 7::45 appointment and she immediately just said I missed my appointment. I was shocked because I just saw her and another man unlock the door. I said but you we not open. she said you were supposed to be here at 7:30. She was so cold and not caring and just said we need to reschedule you. I drove all the way here at 7 am. I tried calling this location to see if they can still take me in but no one ever picked up. Yelp says they close at 5 pm so I went anyway. Turns out, they stop taking in patients after 3pm, which I thought was a little weird because i've had my x-ray taken later than that before at other imaging centers. Anyway, I wasted my time going here and now I gotta take some time off work again just to get my x rays done on a different day.

They should eliminate making doctor appointments altogether and instead have people take a number based on their appointment order. Calculate your estimated waiting time and your distance from the clinic, add the travel time and a 5-minute heads-up, and have your phone ring when it's almost your turn, so you can travel to the clinic and arrive just a few minutes before the doctor is ready to see you. This would eliminate the huge crowds, long waits, and lack of parking. How can the CEO and doctors of this place not get fired for operating like a 4th-world country!? Lots of patients waiting in a large clean and reasonably comfortable waiting room. My appointment was 9am, I got there around 8:45, and was called at 9:45; so bring your water and be patient. If you are fasting, better get the earliest appointment possible so you don't starve. I got out around 10:30, and there were significantly more people in the waiting room. I was helped by 3-4 technicians and a couple more being trained. The technicians were all friendly and helpful. They don't read the chart so they can't really give me much information, just told me that the doctor should be contacting me with results in 3-5 days.
