So I insisted on seeing a tech and going through the steps one at a time, against the initial advice, I was giving everything turned out perfect, I could not remember my Apple password, which was not needed.     Easily one of the worst retail experiences I've had. The Apple Bethesda store completely failed at…read morethe most basic aspect of customer service--acknowledging that customers even exist. I walked into the store while there were plenty of employees around, yet not a single person approached me or asked if I needed assistance. Even worse, I greeted multiple employees with a simple "Hi," and they couldn't even be bothered to respond. Being ignored like that is incredibly disrespectful and made me feel completely unwelcome. For a company that charges premium prices and prides itself on customer experience, this level of service is unacceptable. It felt like the staff had no interest in helping customers unless they were already engaged with them. A smile, eye contact, or even a simple greeting would have gone a long way, but apparently that was too much to expect. I left without getting any help because it was obvious that no one cared. If this is the standard of service at the Apple Bethesda store, management needs to seriously address the culture and customer service training. I won't be returning to this location and would recommend others consider visiting a different Apple Store instead.

    I can't say too many amazing things about this business. Alex is a godsend and saved me from losing…read moremy phone number. Xfinity Mobile screwed me over for a month with assorted shenanigans and incompetence. So much incompetence that they accidentally canceled my phone number which they told me could not be recovered. I had this phone number since college and wasn't interested in giving it up. Came over to Xfinity from AT&T and experienced nothing but horrible service. I didn't ask to be put on a prepaid service (called NOW MOBILE) and they signed me up on one over the phone on January 15th and told me they couldn't get me off for SIX MONTHS. All I got were apologies and ineffective attempts to correct the situation. Apparently NOW MOBILE doesn't support something called an "MDM feature function" was allows them to retrieve a phone number after it was canceled. THEY suggested I cancel it from NOW MOBILE to reboard it onto Xfinity's mainline service. I guess the rep that signed me up the night of 1/15 was looking for an incentive pat on the back from management or maybe didn't know what he was doing exactly - who knows, but he set the wheels in motion the ultimately led to tons of wasted time and a canceled phone number. NOW MOBILE doesn't offer live phone support, so you end up on virtual text communication with people overseas.... China, India Pakistan, Philippines, etc. Extremely slow, repetitive, communication challenges. They should call the service "NO MOBILE" because it was awful. Anyway.... I was completely despondent/lost Thursday and had given up hope until my brother suggested that I go see Alex. He's super skilled and super knowledgeable and most importantly super enthusiastic. We were successful in porting an otherwise dead phone number over from Xfinity to SIMPLE Mobile (a service he sells) and I'm back online. The prices were even less expensive - which was the reason why I stuck with Xfinity and continued to take the poor service I was getting from them. The service didn't port over immediately and I was so worn out by all of this that I told Alex to just get me a new phone number. The status was stuck in "in process" which I thought was because my old phone number really technically was no longer available (according to Xfinity). Alex encouraged me to stay positive since it could happen anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours. Lo and behold - 7 hours later I got the good news. The order was completed!!!!! I could restart my phone. He made my day! I can't recommend this guy enough.

    Oren was recommended by a former co-worker and we hired him to perform IT work in our town…read moregovernment office. Oren is very knowledgeable, professional, reliable and honest. He will tell you if something doesn't need to be done, or if it can be done at less cost. He's also a really nice guy. These are some of the things he helped us with: Switching our email system from Google Workspace to Microsoft Office 365 for business, including email migration, calendars, and files shared between all the users, He synced our computers and mobile phones, and backed up emails. He also set up Office online so we could have access to our files and contacts when not in the office. He set up daily computer backups on a local network storage device and to a cloud service. Oren suggested installing remote access on our computers so he could do evaluations and diagnostics remotely. That really came in handy for us as he was able to provide support even when he was elsewhere or had a break between clients but was too far to make an in-person visit. IT consulting and training. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues. I highly recommend Oren at Restart Computer Services for your computer needs for office or home use. He's very good at explaining things so if you don't know how to do something, he'll show you how.

After I described the issue to him, Oren advised me, honestly, that buying a new laptop was more cost-effective than using his services. I knew he was right after hearing his explanation, which was patient, courteous, and very thorough--all for someone he was advising against being his customer. I deeply admire and respect professionalism like that, and I so I felt motivated to write this review. Honest and trustworthy people like that deserve your business. Use these guys; I will.
