    The Short: Good visit & friendly customer service experience. The Long: Definitely a change from the days of being able to simply walk-in, take time to browse around and then make a purchase. It's been a while since I've been to an Apple store, but I had to make a stop here due to my "iPhone 10" was on the fritz and in need of an upgrade!....* Yes, I held out and refused to buy another iPhone for the last 4 years!! lol Nevertheless, the mission was accomplished at this store. Due to the pandemic, the store is mainly available for online pick-up orders and appointment purchases. Unfortunately, I did not have an appointment nor did I place my order online but I was allowed to walk-in and get assistance with my iPhone upgrade. Everything was straightforward and simple. I walked in, traded my phone for a new one and was out the door in less than 30 minutes. The experience itself was positive and I did not feel rushed but I must say I do miss being able to shop around and browse the actual store. Thanks to covid, only a limited number of people are allowed into the store at a time and your shopping experience is brief -- NO browsing, NO touching the products, NO in-store setup or assistance with your purchase allowed....and social distancing/masks are mandatory. Other than this, overall, the service was fast and friendly. Truthfully speaking....If it wasn't for this store being the only store in the area to have the iPhone model/color I was looking for in stock, I probably wouldn't frequent this location. I say this for the mere fact that this store is a bit on the boring side....no wow factor, no learning hub spaces, and the store itself is just an open box with four walls....sitting chairs/tables in the center of the store. The DC Carnegie Library Apple Store and Clarendon location are my favorite locations in the DMV and got this one beat for sure. At least the customer service was great here and I must say they were very accommodating, given I did not have an appointment.

    Apple is usually a reliable company that is known for their in store experience. So I am disappointed to report a less than five star review. I came here to bring my mom so she can get a new iPhone and told her it would be easy based on the service that is usually awesome. Today it was not. We got there at 10:30am and no greeter approached us as they seemed to be too busy talking to themselves. After finally getting the attention of someone we were informed that they only had 3 sales specialists (I counted close to 20 employees in the store) and that we had to make a reservation. Already upset we agreed to an appointment at 11 am and went to a coffee shop to wait. We can back at 11. This time a greeter with an attitude checked us in and asked us to wait by the table with all the phones. After repeatedly asking on status a sales person met us at the table at 11:20 am. Once Alex arrived, the famous service returned. He walked my mom through the process and helped her select the best plan option and phon for her. He accepted the trade in and got her a great deal on that. He even put the screen protector on the phone for her and helped her get the new phone fully operational before we left. If it had not been for Alex, this would have been a 1 star review. Apple you are better than this. Do better next time.

    I came here to get a new MacBook and also to learn how to transfer the stuff from my old MacBook to my new one. The process was very orderly. I got lucky and got a street spot right in front of the store basically. Reservations are required so if you don't make one ahead of time if your lucky then you can make one there it'll just likely be a while before its time for your reservation. I came during an off-peak time so I was able to schedule a reservation for an hour after I arrived. They suggest getting in line 15 minutes prior to scheduled reservation so I just sat in my car and waited it out. Before getting in line they have someone there asking your covid pre-screening questions and verifying your reservation time. There were also spots lined along the sidewalk denoting where patrons were to stand in line. They were also monitoring the number of people in the store at one time. I wish I could remember the young gentleman's name who helped me with my MacBook purchase. He was very informative and insight and made my purchase a breeze. He also informed me of how to transfer the data from my old MacBook to my newly purchased one. I would definitely come back to this location due to the efficiency.

    The tech support was terrible because they were not responsible with their job. My AirPods weren't working, so I sent them in last week. Today, I picked up my AirPods Pro, and they still don't work. When I asked the staff why the AirPods weren't connecting to my phone, they told me to charge them for 30 to 60 minutes. However, after charging them for two hours, they still don't work. The tech support at Apple 4860 in Bethesda has wasted my time, and they didn't even check the AirPods properly before returning them to me. I'm now confused as to whether they even repaired my AirPods after keeping them for a few days.

    This business has relocated for unknown and unexpected reasons …read more I called in June to see if they were able to repair my Electro voice powered speaker. They said yes - Speaker brought in and 69.00 Diagnostic Fee paid - the were very efficient in determining My amplifier component was Blown -- They said I would need to pay for the replacement component up front and I authorized payment for "new amp " via credit card via textual and phone communication . I specifically told the Manager that I wanted Electrovoice OEM replacement components- They said no problem and speaker would be ready in approx 2 weeks . Segway -- 3 months later - they said delay was that they Did not have a Technician on Staff and job was on hold till they could find a replacement technician. I became somewhat suspicious when the manager kept trying to sell me on idea of getting a custom replacement speaker -- Told him , No Thank you sir-- Then he tells me That the future for investing was Cryptocurrency and they had a on site Bitcoin Vending Machine - that worked by digital payment . I told him I was Not interested and we needed to focus on the task of repairing my speaker. I had made multiple calls over the summer to check on the status . The Manager would not return my calls by text nor cellphone conversation. However, when I utilized someone else's phone with a different # , he would pick up the phone and answer promptly . I went there to see WTF was going on . He assured me that it was a labor issue . He needed more time. Long story short - he has some ? " Technician" "complete the repair" . I go to pick it up and notice that there is an aftermarket Brand Amp ... I said this was not what we agreed on . He stated when the initial tech ordered replacement OEM amp - it did not fit I said to him- that he did not order the correct Mfg OEM Why ? Because I personally called Electro voice in Greer SC and gave them the serial number and part numbers on back of matching speaker. They verified they had exact replacement and also offer a factory revamp and repair of my unit . I thought one stop connect would be a faster and effective solution I was totally Fooled by this Con artist -- I now have a speaker with incorrect bootleg part that still doesn't function properly -- I called to ask for refund and I would return the Bootleg amp . The manager has now moved the business ( He said that something unforeseen had occurred and they were in the process of relocating to Herndon). He has stood me up with more excuses beyond reasonable and professional consideration I have been more than patient - trying to give the guy a break ( that was my Mistake ) He refuses to answer my call . I would like notify the Police but this is a Civil Matter -- I would not let these people change a light bulb in my flashlight -- This Business is unethical , unprofessional and totally inept . Guess I will resume our discussions in small Claims Court -- Bottom Line : Stay Away And I do not believe Yelp and its reviews as well .

    I can't say too many amazing things about this business. Alex is a godsend and saved me from losing…read moremy phone number. Xfinity Mobile screwed me over for a month with assorted shenanigans and incompetence. So much incompetence that they accidentally canceled my phone number which they told me could not be recovered. I had this phone number since college and wasn't interested in giving it up. Came over to Xfinity from AT&T and experienced nothing but horrible service. I didn't ask to be put on a prepaid service (called NOW MOBILE) and they signed me up on one over the phone on January 15th and told me they couldn't get me off for SIX MONTHS. All I got were apologies and ineffective attempts to correct the situation. Apparently NOW MOBILE doesn't support something called an "MDM feature function" was allows them to retrieve a phone number after it was canceled. THEY suggested I cancel it from NOW MOBILE to reboard it onto Xfinity's mainline service. I guess the rep that signed me up the night of 1/15 was looking for an incentive pat on the back from management or maybe didn't know what he was doing exactly - who knows, but he set the wheels in motion the ultimately led to tons of wasted time and a canceled phone number. NOW MOBILE doesn't offer live phone support, so you end up on virtual text communication with people overseas.... China, India Pakistan, Philippines, etc. Extremely slow, repetitive, communication challenges. They should call the service "NO MOBILE" because it was awful. Anyway.... I was completely despondent/lost Thursday and had given up hope until my brother suggested that I go see Alex. He's super skilled and super knowledgeable and most importantly super enthusiastic. We were successful in porting an otherwise dead phone number over from Xfinity to SIMPLE Mobile (a service he sells) and I'm back online. The prices were even less expensive - which was the reason why I stuck with Xfinity and continued to take the poor service I was getting from them. The service didn't port over immediately and I was so worn out by all of this that I told Alex to just get me a new phone number. The status was stuck in "in process" which I thought was because my old phone number really technically was no longer available (according to Xfinity). Alex encouraged me to stay positive since it could happen anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours. Lo and behold - 7 hours later I got the good news. The order was completed!!!!! I could restart my phone. He made my day! I can't recommend this guy enough.
