The front of the show room boasts a beautiful island, kitchen cabinets, and an oven range to die for. It's a great spot for mingling and enjoying examples of what Liam Brex has to offer. In the back is another kitchen set up with yet another gorgeous island, oven range, built in drawers, and surprise refrigerators. I loved the wine cellar cabinet and fridge space in the island! I have to say, it's pretty genius to utilize their space after hours for local events. Not only is it the perfect place for gathering , cooking, or baking, but a wonderful opportunity for Liam Brex to introduce their work. I've lived in Naperville most of my life and had no idea this was here despite them being founded back in 2007. We found Granite Crafters through a friend and their kitchen looked great so I gave them a call. We are doing some minor remodeling in our house and counters were a must. We had ceramic tiles on the counters before. Very 80's and very hard to clean. Whoever thought that grout on a food prep area was a good idea is not smart but I digress. We ended up getting kitchen counters and then asked about doing two vanities as well. At the granite yard there were scrap pieces they wouldn't sell to us but he said he had some at his shop that could work and they did. Our bathroom went from builder grade to amazing in two hours. Marek was prompt at calling me back. That's a must with contractors for me. We went to the granite yard to pick out our granite on a Saturday and he was able to install it a week and a half later. That's with fabrication and everything. He said they would be here between 1 and 2 and they were here at 1:15. Being on time is also a must. I have dealt with contractors that didn't call me back for days, didn't call me back at all and my personal favorite, lost his notes and wanting to come back to remeasure a month later. No thanks. We are in the very north suburbs and he still came on time. The selection of granite is enormous, the work is impeccable and the price is unbeatable. I did my homework and couldn't be happier that I went with them! Marek is very knowledgeable and super helpful. He answered all of my questions and there were lots. Do yourselves a favor and go with Granite Crafters.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I was disappointed with my visit to the Kitchen Studio. I was…read morelooking to install new countertops in my kitchen and bathroom. The Kitchen Studio popped up in my google search as being a local dealer of the specific higher end material I wanted. Upon arrival, an employee told me "they don't do just countertops". Okay. That isn't clear on their website. Then she went on to tell me she can't think of anywhere in the area to refer me that "just does counters". First, of all, there are at least 10 countertop fabricators within a 10 mile radius of Glen Ellyn. Someone in the industry should know this. Second, I'm sure the Kitchen Studio has an in house fabricator or they subcontract it out to someone local (most likely) and thus, why on earth would you not give this person my business??? I have a fairly large kitchen and master vanity. My quotes from the other local fabricators, who do, in fact, exist, are coming in at $120/sq foot and up. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because all their kitchens on houzz are truly lovely and I'm sure if you hire them they would design a beautiful kitchen.

However when cost estimates were developed for contract signing for the project implementation phase, her personal fees were 3 times of what they should have been per our retainer agreement. When I pointed out the retainer terms, instead of correcting, they sent me a new retainer document and told me their process has changed. The change is permanent and sometimes there is a little fallout like this. These were Susan's words in her email to me. I took them to court ( case#2019SR000483 in Dupage county) to get my money back which I did. Susan herself is talented and personable but her business partner and company co-owner's dealings are disappointing and ignorant of basic business ethics. Susan kept saying he handles all money and pricing aspects. I had to walk away! Update 1/10/2020: I stand by my comments and the fact that you completely disavowed the terms of retainer and when I pointed out the pricing terms that we agreed to In the retainer, you emailed me a new retainer document with all pricing terms removed from it. I would have never signed anything or paid you $7k based on that new retainer devoid of any specifics. This was an act of complete lack of integrity. If you are serious about building reputation, practicing integrity will help. Good luck
