My Samsung Washer was experiencing a issue with a SC code. I cleaned the drain filter before I called for repair but still had issue. I call Pac App repair and they came out in 1 day and he was able to repair it with no parts. The problem was related to the drain line being clogged. The quote he provided was honored and I gave him a extra $10 for doing the work. I am very happy with the repair and it great to have someone that is honest and you can trust. The appliances in our home are old, and many are starting to show it. Unfortunately, this is the case with our dishwasher. Based on glowing reviews and location, I reached out to Pac's Appliance Repair. I spoke with Pac on the phone on 10/19, and made an appointment for 1.5 weeks later on Friday 10/29, when I had taken a personal day from work to accommodate that appointment and others. I was quoted a time frame of 9:30-10:30am. I even texted him to confirm as per our conversation. At 10:09am, when I hadn't heard anything and Pac hadn't shown up for tha appointment, I called him. It was obvious that I had startled or woke him. He claimed that he had forgotten something at home, had had to turn back around, and that he was "on (his) way" and would arrive within 30 minutes. He arrived nearly 60 minutes later, with no apologies for his tardiness. It didn't take Pac long to determine that the motor on the dishwasher needed to be replaced. He quoted a price of ~$230 for the motor, not including the labor. I asked about cost of repair vs. replacing the whole unit, to which Pac really didn't reply nor offer any professional advice. I can't say that I was impressed at his mum response.. I paid the $50 service fee for the 10-15 minutes of his time. Sadly, I would not seek out this company again due to the lack of professionalism (communication, timeliness, lack of apology for time wasted). read more

I have a Whirlpool counter depth side x side refrigerator that has been hyperventilating lately... on top of the fact that it has problems dispensing ice ... and having frost appear on leftovers in the refrigerator... apparently it's 11 years old and having tween issues... maybe. But it's more likely that Whirlpool has designed obsolescence into its product... Since they only guarantee Parts availability for 7 years from build... So since this was built in 2007, parts are no longer available after 2014. On a more serious note... Francisco came out to take a look at this and from the repair parts available out there it would have only been slightly more to just buy a new fridge. Ugh, 1K for repairs SO not worth it. He showed me the price lists on refurb controllers ... pretty transparent. Me likey. ;-) Anywho, I'm getting a new Frigidaire French Door replacement now. Francisco is awesome! He came out to fix my dishwasher because the springs had popped from the door so it was very heavy! He came and within half an hour, all was fixed. He's been doing this for 20 years so I felt comfortable with his knowledge & skill set. He charged me $139 as a flat rate to come out + parts. The other reason I'd recommend him is he's flexible and understanding. I wasn't able to answer the door when he got to my house so understandably, he left. I texted him with an apology and asked if he was still in the area. He said he moved on to his next job, but could try to come back. Francisco returned my call after I left him a message about my dryer causing my clothes to smell like burnt plastic. My husband cleaned out all the lint after this happened but it still had the smell. Francisco told me that the smell would last about two weeks afterwards because it was the smell of the lint being on fire.
