I was treated by both Dr. Lange and Dr. Dinh for my dental and orthodontic treatment at MacArthur Dental Arts. This office has state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, and most importantly, his entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. In particular, both Nicholle and Brandy have been beneficial with the various treatments I received here. However, communication could be improved, as some of my phone calls, texts through their messaging system, or emails are sometimes left unanswered. I received GREAT care here at MacArthur Dental Arts! I had this AWFUL white spot on my tooth that I wanted GONE! It was my biggest insecurity. I was given the recommendation of whitening, followed by the ICON treatment. I did research beforehand to better understand what to expect. Im so glad I did it! They did both treatments in the same day and it went so quick! The doctor and techs were SO gentle, knowledgeable, and answered any questions/concerns that I had. The dentist and hygienist were great, but the administrative experience was unacceptable. As a new patient, I was assured my cleaning and x-rays were covered, only to be billed afterward for a panoramic x-ray due to an insurance frequency limitation. The office failed to ask about prior imaging, request records, or disclose beforehand that this x-ray might result in an out-of-pocket charge. When I called to address the issue, I was told I should have "advocated for myself." Patients are not expected to know CDT codes, track panoramic x-ray frequency, understand insurance rules, or interrupt care to ask technical billing questions. That responsibility falls on the office. Good clinical care does not excuse poor administrative practices. I would not recommend this office. read more

This was my first time at Dental Arts. I was there for a Cleaning and checkup. My hygienist was Taylor and I have to say she was great!!. She was very professional and friendly. She did a great job Cleaning my teeth and had a very soft hand and caused no pain whatsoever. She did a thorough job checking the health of my teeth and Gums. After the cleaning Dr Dinh looked at my teeth. I was pleased there was no upselling only gentle suggestions for some needed care. I would highly recommend MacArthur Dental Arts. The entire staff is very friendly, the office is clean and welcoming, and I haven't gotten the high sales pressure vibe that I've gotten from other dental offices. Dr. Lange patiently answered my questions and made realistic recommendations, rather than pushing me toward an orthodontic solution for my son. Alondra helped to replace my nightguard with a stronger model for my heavy clenching/grinding. Last but not least, Sharon and Melissa patiently and professionally worked through a billing/insurance misunderstanding with me in a way that made me feel that they valued me as a patient. I'm going to start off with what I think was the best part of this practice -- Dr. Nicholas Dinh. From the first encounter, I knew I'd trust him with my beautiful teeth. He was very confident and straight to the point; no fluff or all the spizazz. I felt the consult was very efficient and he was able to answer all my questions. I can tell he is very thorough and meticulous which instills confidence with my decision to continue treatment with this practice. Furthermore, my encounter with Yen, the dental hygienist, was nothing more than spectacular. Again, I felt like she was very thorough and made each one of my teeth squeaky clean. When she finished with floss all I heard were squeaks; truly admirable. Lastly, the parking was very open and had no problem finding a spot. This is my new home!! read more

I had an appointment today at MacArthur Dental Arts for a teeth cleaning. My dental hygienist, Yen has had 9 years experience. She was so professional and most of all Gentle. She began with X-rays and then the cleaning began. it was not the usual scraping form tooth to tooth. It was such a smooth, gentle process and pain free! Before I knew it she started the polishing that made my teeth feel like pearls! The Dentist who owns the practice is Ryan Lange, DDS. Doctor Lande has done fillings, root canals , implants and probably 3 crowns on me in the last few years. A crown takes from start to finish less than 2 hours. He takes photos and X-rays, and puts the information into a 3-D printer, 45 minutes later he puts on a finished crown and you go home. I have never had any pain from the procedures, AMAZING The office is 1 signal north of the John Wayne Airport. I have referred friends, family, and neighbors and they all have been very pleased. Mary is a wonderful hygienist! She is gentle yet thorough, and does not rush through the cleaning. This means a painless experience and no unnecessary gum pain. All of the doctors I've encountered are also very kind and caring. The dental office is in a great location and the front desk staff is extremely responsive and accommodating as well. I've had to reschedule a few appointments the past 3 years I've been here and they have always been prompt and helpful.
