My son in law had a serious abscess on his tonsil, recently. I called this practice and a wonderful lady named Erin answered. She was incredibly empathetic. I couldn't believe she got him THAT DAY. She completely understood the severity. The swelling was extremely painful, until he saw Dr.Dov Bloch. Dr. Bloch is exceptional in every way. He immediately did what the Emergency Room couldn't. He made an incision to drain it, and saw him twice more and now he is fine! Dr. Bloch also cleans my ears and has never hurt me. The quality of care with him is exceptional. Also my office experience on the phone was seamless. This is a unique practice where they have the likelihood of a desired health outcome. My whole family is grateful. read more

This place use to be a great place to go, years ago. Everyone in the office had a not want to be there attitude. Doctors walking in a daze. At least the one I had. Desk lady had a tude. I had to make an appointment for the allergy place but first I had to walk cross the lot to pay a bill and come back by 4 to schedule. Very non customer service driven office. The other locations are much nicer and friendlier. This place has got to do better.... Done read more

Having arrived on time for a 1 o'clock appointment, after a brief wait I was ushered into an air conditioned examination room and told "the doctor will see you shortly". 35 minutes later, without so much as a knock on the door let alone an explanation for the delay, I decided to leave. The nice receptionist was the only one who bothered to apologize. Not wanting to deprive myself of potentially good medical care, I rescheduled with another doctor at their Ridgefield facility. Obviously I can't evaluate the medical care because I never saw a physician. But to whatever degree the doctor in charge is responsible for the comfort of his office patients and the efficient running of his office. Dr. Bloch's rating that day was unsatisfactory. read more

Scheduled a same day appointment and Dr Bloch was great! The staff are great. Highly recommend this practice.

Very fussy about Medicare insurance they will except. Hardly anything! Coy about offering self-pay discount, If any. My wife charge $400 for a half hour visit. That's $800 an hour! I don't care what procedure they performed. Hold onto your wallet. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! Apparently telling the appointment setter why you want to see a provider is sufficient info to know what high billable testing is required upon being called thru. I went in for sinus congestion and dizziness. When my name was called, I was immediately whisked away to a hearing test without even being asked why I was there or told why they were doing the test! It was only after the testing was completed that I was able to explain why I was there. And, even then the PA did not sufficiently address both issues but made sure to order more EXPENSIVE testing for only 1 of them! So, I ended up making another appointment with another provider. This one was worse! My sinus concerns were fobbed off as neurotic hypochondria and he acted as if I was wasting his time! And, to boot, he advised that I keep my appointment that the PA ordered. Needless to say, I will not be returning! Instead l went to a urgent care where a PA in General Medicine was able to detect a sinus infection where the seasoned ENT Specialist did not! My daughter had a history of chronic problems with her ears when she was a child. We had been seeing a Dr in new milford. Our original dr had come up with great ideas to keep her ears dry and keep her out of the operating room. Well danbury hospital took over everything and that's where our troubles began. These Dr's in this practice it's like they threw her old medical records away. If your gonna treat a chronic case you need to have a history. They were not interested in what we had found that worked well. They don't take to suggestions very well and are extremely lazy and rude. You will get treated like a number not a human being. They are just a bunch of Dr's that think they know everything and you know nothing.we were told never to clean her ears with water and that's the first thing they wanted to do. I wanted the Dr to suction the wax from her ears but instead he copped an attitude and shoved us off on his nurse who got really mad when I wouldn't allow it. Horrible experience. Went to see Dr Batti for snoring, which turned out to be obstructive sleep apnea caused by enlarged tonsils behind my tongue. He sent me for tests and to see a GI doc which I did of course. Went back, for follow up and he basically said I'm fine. It must be something else. Meanwhile my symptoms are worsening. He seemed like he didn't want to listen and made it seem like I was crazy. I also want to comment on the office staff. I waited for 2 weeks for them to finally get my approval for a CT scan after me calling them a few times to find out why it's taking so long. Each time I called no one knew anything. Second time I needed a sleep study, same thing happened. I finally called and said forget it I'm going to see another doctor fir another opinion. Overall bad experience. I have worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 20 years and see how medical offices run. I am in the medical field and know the patient comes first, at least that's how we run. I should have found a doctor at Yale but was just looking local for convenience. I quickly changed my mind. I would never recommend Dr Batti nor his office as he made me feel not important, and I left feeling worse than when I got there. He was quick to dismiss me and left me feeling like this was just the way it was going to be. If I was not empowered enough to know that I should definitely get another opinion that would suck! I had radiologists review my CT scan and two said my tonsils were very enlarged causing my symptoms. So I guess I'm not crazy! read more
