I was referred to Dr. Chen from my dentist, Dr. Cheng, for a root canal. After 5 failed root canals and 4 extractions later, with the most recent being severely abscessed and extracted even after 2 separate root canal treatments in prior years, I've become a little hesitant that root canals work on me!! No one I've ever met has anywhere near my track record, lol!! However, Dr. Cheng( who I trust highly) assured me that he was sending me to " the best," and that a failed root canal is really only human error!! Well so far from the moment I walked in, Dr. Chen's office has lived up to being the BEST!! Ashley and Shayna greeted me with a huge smile and made me feel very welcome, as did Chaniff and Mara when I got back to the chair!! They go out of their way to make it a comfortable, pleasant experience by offering you drink, snacks, and even headphones for music or movies. You can definitely tell Dr. Chen requires top notch service with a smile from each employee!! I've honestly never had a better experience doing a root canal, and remember it isn't my first rodeo, lol, this is #6 so I've had lots to compare to!! At first I was a little disappointed that it couldn't be completed in one visit, but after he took time to explain why the outcome would be much better with two visits, that made a lot of sense and hopefully that will be the key to my very first successful root canal!!! Root canal. Two words no one ever wants to hear, unless a friend needs one. If you do happen to hear those two words, I have two more for you: advanced endodontics. From the moment I walked into their building, I was impressed. The guest reception and waiting area is clean, spacious and welcoming. The people... they make the business feel more like family, who genuinely care about your well-being. They understand the apprehension and anxiety many are feeling and respond with assurances that everything is going to be alright. The consultation was brief, yet filled with information about the possibilities and the procedure. I was fortunate to get back in for the procedure just a few days later. Again, the staff went over what was going to be done and what to expect. Believe it not, it was pain free and I was out of there 75 minutes after walking in... and still smiling. I recently had a root canal at Advanced Endodontics, and wow... I was so freaking nervous walking in there, and I walked out feeling like I had been such a big baby. The staff there is awesome and wicked friendly. Dr. Chen is a funny guy, I really liked him, and he and his staff made me feel very comfortable. I was really worried about the shots, and Dr. Chen used this weird vibration thing in my mouth, and I asked the assistant whether it was going to hurt when I get the shots, and she says "That was the shot, did it hurt?" No, it didnt. I was blown away. I didn't feel a thing the rest of the time. They sent me a thank you card for visiting their office, that I got a few days later, and called a week later to make sure I was feeling great, which I was. I would definitely tell anyone I know if they need a root canal they want to see Dr. Chen, hands down. Awesome. read more

Had two root canals performed last week at Advanced Endodontics Clermont office. I was very nervous and scared but was put at ease once I talked to Dr. Vaidya, his assistant Nina and Maya at the front desk. I told them my fears and concerns and they all were wonderful. The two root canals were performed without pain skillfully by Dr. Vaidya with laser drilling. He explained everything with patience and knowledge. Nina was also great and compassionate and is a wonderful person and Dental Assistant. I had a lower molar that needed a cap and it also had respectable size abscess just for good measure. The Tech who was a super sweet heart, must have ESP. She picked up on my nervousness and just put her hand gently on my arm and that made such a difference. Considering the size of the abscess I'm surprised the dentist could actually save the root, but she did. They are a terrific two some. After which they call my home to check on me. There is NO reason to be nervous or even afraid to go to Clermont Advanced Endodontics. If you need to have a root canal I highly recommend Dr. Tej Vaidya. As someone who has had a lot of dental work, I can say with certainty this is as close to pain-free as you are going to find. He is patient, detailed, careful and comprehensive. He was compassionate and diligently listened to my concerns. His work was thorough. The staff there was also amazing. Triana Hinds was particularly outstanding. I came in very nervous and in pain. She walked me through every step before it happened, she was conscientious in every detail as well. I went to the Clermont office for a root canal, and to have a tooth whitened. The staff was very professional and very friendly. Mara and Dr Chen took care of me. I had the option of watching a movie or listening to music while they did the procedure. I loved being able to listen to the music with the headphones. Next time I will try the movie.
