I've always like this place and have been going here for a couple of decades. At a recent visit, I messed up the time and missed the appointment. There were several people behind the counter but one woman was so rude and condescending that it ate away at me and I had to write. i didn't get her name but she was an older women with salt and pepper straight hair. please get rid of her for the sake of your reputation. missing one appointment in 20 years is not an offense that should be met with such awful treatment. read more

I have serious eye issues, Optic neuritis 4 times. Very difficult to fit contacts and glasses and need constant monitoring of my eyes after I see my neuroopthomologist. I have been going to Dr. Juba for years and very happy to have found someone who is willing to take on a challenge, Many eye doctors are not wiling to or know how handle something more than a routine eye exam. read more

My Silhouette frames got out of allignment. I walked in to ask if they could adjust them - for free, I am new to Denver. They were quick, they were able to adjust the frames so they fit prefectly. I have a complicated RX, prisisms and bifocals in my lenses which makes the adjustments critical for me to use my glasses for distance and reading. I found the office polite, understanding and I will come back to them for my eye exam and glasses. I have nothing but good things to say. read more

After waiting 3 weeks I was so excited to see Dr. Juba. I received 2 eml confirmations from Advanced EyeCare Centers, I arranged childcare, I arrived early. When I arrived they said Dr. Juba was with another patient and they didn't have me on their schedule, blaming technology. I waited over an hour, spent approximately 10 mins w/ Dr. Juba. She said, your prescription is "exactly the same". I left without being given my prescription. I e-mailed them requesting it, then I had to call to get it, after waiting 2 days. The prescription Dr. Juba wrote was not, "exactly the same". In fact she wrote me two DIFFERENT perscriptions! I called to clarify. After waiting all day, Dr. Juba finally called me. She proceeded to tell me she didn't have time to give me an, "optometry lesson", and how disappointed she was that her staff had offered me a discount on my office visit! She was condescending, and spoke over me. She had abysmal communication skills and non-existent patient care skills. She also seemed out of touch with her staff and displayed no respect for them. It was pretty shocking. I really wanted to give this practice the benefit of the doubt bc technology mistakes can happen; however, after my experience with Dr. Juba I will not be returning. read more

Jamie took great care and with a great personality did an amazing job on getting my prescription sunglasses perfected (with bifocals and prism). The first time I went there, she happily adjusted my old glasses frames for no charge, so I decided to take my prescription there. I'm thrilled with the result. Terrible customer service. Called ahead to ask if I can stop in to check out their frames. The person answering the phone said yes, it was okay to come and call when I arrive in the parking lot. So, when I get there, I call and waited for about 5 minutes, when a lady comes out and tells me their too full and to make an appointment for later....taking my business elsewhere! read more

Every person I have interacted with at Advanced EyeCare is nice, professional, and cares about my eye health and my needs. From checking in, to going through the appointment all the way until we picked up our glasses, we felt taken care of. The doctor answered all of my questions and didn't mind that I had brought my own list of contact brands that I knew I could afford. He looked through the list with me and based on what I had, he suggested the best option for my eyes. When we went to pick out glasses we had a hard time deciding on frames and the employee helped us look at styles and gave us prices after insurance for each frame as well so we could better decide. When I was unsure of what style I wanted, she went through almost every section with me looking through and making suggestions until I (finally!) settled on a pair. When I came to pick them up, they let me walk around and wear them for a bit to make sure they were right. I have now been wearing them for six months and they are the best glasses I have ever owned. I am so glad we found Advanced EyeCare and we will be back every year! read more

I have been a patient here for over 20 years and the Staff is top-notch. I see Dr. Golesh all these years and I appreciate his expertise and how thorough he is. The main reason for this review however is to express my great satisfaction with Jaime! My new glasses arrived and I thought the Lone Tree office would be open on a Saturday - however they were not. I called the Centennial Office and Jamie answered. I let her know I was hoping to get my new glasses before I went on vacation. She let me know that she could head down to the Lone Tree office and open it up when she got off at the Centennial office. I was THRILLED by this news! She truly helped me out in a pinch. This place is absolutely horrible. I was referred here to purchase glasses and the people were so unbelievably rude that I wound up leaving. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The receptionist was so rude and snappy and the man who attempted to help me purchase my glasses was short and snooty. They seem to have a nice selection of products but in the end, it wasn't worth it. I couldn't believe how badly I was treated especially since I was a referral. read more

Foreward: I attempted to look for a corporate e-mail to directly discuss this with, but since there isn't one I could find I am posting my concerns here on Yelp. I've been a long customer of Advanced EyeCare Center because my parents always took me here for my glasses when I was under their care. However, having interacted with the staff and the place directly, I found that it is not the great place I always visited as a kid. Today, April 20th, I stopped by this location due to some dissatisfaction with my frames and was curious if I could exchange them. I was greeted by Jamie at the front desk and she said that they should be able to do something if I bring my glasses in and I had no issues. But I came back an hour later after picking up the glasses from my house and was greeted by Elina. All the times that I've come to this location, I have never seen Elina with a friendly face nor attitude, and today was no different. She asked me some questions and I started looking at frames while waiting for someone to help me. Shortly, Jamie comes out on the floor and asks me if I found anything yet and I tell her that I'm just starting to look. She stands there watching me look at and try on frames, clearly impatient, which by the way was my biggest concern last time I was here in February for new glasses. Back then I felt rushed by the staff and although I didn't tell them this, this is why I went in to exchange my glasses today, I picked some ones that don't reflect my style due to feeling rushed. To me, glasses are more than just a tool to see better, they are a part of my personality so it's important I pick the right one. So I pick out a frame I like from the catalog and let her know. Now, my biggest issue was after she placed the order for the glasses. She asked me if I wanted to keep these current ones or turn them in now. I hardly had a chance to think and say anything when a few seconds later she interrupts me saying, and I quote "Nope, just keep them, we'll call you when they're ready" and went back to her work without another word. I have never felt so unwelcome at an establishment and it was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting. I'm giving the office 2 stars only due to the excellent service from Dr. Fincher. He is the kindest person I've met there and he makes the appointments very enjoyable with his bright attitude and pleasant conversations. However, I felt so unwelcome today by the front staff and left the building in such an upset mood so I do not think I'll be coming here much anymore after today if at all. They may have over 48 years of experience, but it all means nothing if they cannot treat each customer with a friendly attitude and with respect. read more

Hands down the BEST optometrist/eyewear store around. Matt and the staff that help to pick frames and fit for customers are top notch! 2 years ago I discovered my need for glasses. Since then, I've become kind of an addict in regards to trying new glasses with fun frames. I love coming in to check out items from their inventory. I actually walked in for an eye exam because my eyes were bothering me at work, and I was getting lunch across the street. The staff and Dr. Fincher got me in right away and they took my insurance. Dr. Fincher was really nice and reassuring and took the time to explain everything that was going on. They had a good selection of glasses, but mentioned that they have a better selection at their Lone Tree office. The girl helping me pick out glasses was also very helpful and pleasant. I was very happy with Dr. Fincher at Advanced Eye Care. The staff and the doctor were very respectful of my time and very welcoming. Dr Fincher took his time with me and provided me with multiple options of contacts and glasses. I have a complicated eye history and he took the time to explain things. I used this Eye Doctor last year and he was good. The glasses were never made properly and after taking them back a couple of times to get replaced, they said the prescription was correct; I decided just to get a new prescription this year to see if that helps. Tried to call 3 times to make an appointment, put on hold for more than 10 minutes each time and finally hung up. Went by today to make an appointment in person and waited for someone to be available, Sat in the office for about 10 minutes right in front of the front desk and no one ever offered to help me. Finally left and looking for a new eye doctor. Good Doctor, OK opticians and terrible staff. read more

I have used Dr. Golesh for many years and have referred many people to him for eye care. I've had nothing but positive experiences with him, his staff and everyone at Advanced Eye Care. I've had many pairs of glasses made here and always been happy. I cannot imagine why anyone would be unhappy. This is the best eye care office I've ever used. The opticians are effective and friendly and helpful. I suppose there are some people that will find something to complain about no matter how good you are, but I have been using this office for 20 years and feel welcomed and cared for year after year. I would like to say they had great optometrist but, I never saw one. I visited this particular location because i was looking for a single kind of glasses. After walking in and looking around at their selection I found the pair I went there for. I was first put off by the person at the front desk who didn't seem to see me, as she asked just about everyone else is she could help them. So, then I said I needed help. I asked a question about prescription lenses for this pair of glasses. She said she didn't know so she would ask. She turned around and asked, the optometrist i assume, who was in a small room off to the side. Then came back with an answer. To which I had another question. Her response, you're going to have to ask the optometrist. Waiting for an additional 10 minutes and seeing the many exchanges of the the front desk girl repeat the routine of, "can I help you"? Only to throw a question into the small room and return with the answer of, "you'll have to speak with the optometrist". I almost volunteered to stand by the front desk to answer, "probably not", every time she would ask another customer if she could help them. Long Story short I left with out the glasses and or any idea if an optometrist really did work there or if it was one of those fortune cookie, fortune making machines, in that small room off to the side. read more
