1 star review is for orthodontics only. The dental hygienists gets 5 stars. Let me start by saying I was a HUGE fan of this office for many years. However Dr Kerbs has proven that just because a dentist is legally allowed to provide orthodontics, it doesn't mean they should. Dr Kerbs made me a ridiculously thick night guard and I kept returning to have him grind it down more because my teeth were hitting. They didn't give me eye protection while grinding and a fleck of plastic scratched my eye and I had to go to an optometrist. Dr Kerbs also gave me Invisalign, but after I finally left his office for good I had to go to a real orthodontist and get another round of Invisalign to fix my teeth that were hitting. While in Dr Kerbs' care I suddenly had significant gum recession in those teeth that were hitting from their Invisalign and/or thick night guard. Here it is 3 years later after $3,000 for the additional Invisalign from a real orthodontist and $7,000 for a gum graft from a real periodontist to cover my exposed roots on those 4 teeth. But that's not all. They gave my kid a Vivos night guard to "expand her palate" and didn't properly check in with her for a full year. If they did, they would have realized the device had created a posterior open bite!!! How was my kid even chewing food?! This was my wake-up moment. We immediately stopped using Dr Kerbs and I took my child to real orthodontists for consults. All of the orthodontists told us to throw away the Vivos, and that she had no adult teeth so it was way too early to start any sort of Ortho treatment. Another expensive mistake. I learned a lot during this process, I just wish I had gone to an actual orthodontist in the first place. I guess I should be thankful I didn't try to do any gum grafting with him because he can sell you that too. read more

After being a long term patient, 12 yrs, I was let down by this office and doctor. I have chronic TMJ and wear dentures. My dad had recently tragically passed away last year and my old dentures had expired. I had an urgent need, but instead he decided to torture me with a nightguard that bruised my gums to move some shifted teeth. Once that didn't work, the partials process went HORRIBLY wrong. I lost a whole year of my life, and I am left with NOTHING! My teeth have been altered and damaged from this mess. I feel completely let down. He is not very understanding when it comes to pain and you can end up hurt in the process. I hope this review can spare someone from this yearlong torment, physical and mental anguish I endured here. It was only my desire to have a more holistic approach to dentistry that motivated me to switch. I was amazed to find that on his staff he has an oral facial therapist. Jenae has helped me tremendously in understanding the role of the tongue in so many aspects of health. This place was just weird. Dr. Kerbs didn't even introduce himself during the appointment, just kinda awkwardly said hi. When he asked me who my regular dentist was, he was surprised my dentist hadn't recommended him (I came based on my own research for a second opinion/consult). Like it offended him. He then looked at the information the tech gathered and told me one thing and then contradicted himself when he took a second look. And somehow the alignment of one's shoulders is critical to dental health? They take headshots if you during the consultation. The women working there seemed to revere dr. Kerbs to the extreme. I made two follow up appointments for some dental work. I ended up calling to cancel one of them as I wasn't sure if I was ready to go through with the procedure. I called back later to ask about the second appointment and Sarah (I think her name was) said she took the liberty to cancel the second one as well. Her attitude was quite curt during all our interactions. I dunno if it was because of my ethnicity or what but their office and clientele seemed to be very homogeneous. At least that was the vibe I felt being in the office. I decided to get another consult with another dentist and took the rest of my business elsewhere. read more

Dr Kerbs' team is by far the best I've ever experienced on every level! I was referred by a hygienist from another office, which tells a lot. Thankfully, during my initial cleaning, Jenae found I had a crack in a molar which was in the early stage of infection. This would have otherwise led to abscess if it had not been extracted, with no other options since this already had a root canal. This could have been easily overlooked but wasn't. Dr. Kerbs took the time to explain everything before, during, and after the procedure. There were no surprises. I'm impressed with his calmness and technique. He personally called me that evening to see how I was feeling. Highly unusual. I was able to get an amazing weekend response from Sara and Dr. Kerbs when I was in need. Outstanding holistic dentist, and staff. I literally spent a year searching for a holistic dentist. I was told by another dentist that I needed 2 root canals, but was aware of the biological risks and didn't want to do it. This began a year long search for a dentist who had the skills to holistically treat a deep cavity. When I spoke with Sara on the phone, she listened carefully and asked me to send over the xrays. I could tell Sara was sharp. She also communicated clearly what the options could be and the cost, and I knew I had found the right place. They booked me quickly because the tooth was already compromised. Luckily, it was caught in enough time to be salvaged without a root canal. Dr. Kerbs was careful and skilled and thorough. He even found another cavity next to the treated tooth and saved that one as well. Both teeth were treated with ozone.The office is pleasant, with gorgeous nature videos and candles, and a warm pillow...spa-like. And staff was exceptional. Dr Kerbs fitted me with Invisilign retainers to straighten my teeth and afterwards replaced very old bridgework on my front teeth resulting in a new and much improved smile. He was patient and very thorough about his work. He never rushed the process until the result was to his high standards.. He also went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure the final outcome was what I wanted. He is one of the few AACD accredited dentists in town, so if you desire the best outcome for a beautiful smile, this is the place. We are so glad we found this practice. We use Dr Kerbs for myself and my 9 and 11 year old. The kids love the office and prefer it to their previous pediatric dentist. Finally out of my braces! Dr. Kerbs had originally said 2 to 2.5 years, and they came off in 2 years plus 1 month. The man knows what he's doing. Also, he was crazy perfectionist about it, which I was happy about...and not just the aesthetic but the health of my teeth and the fit of my bite. My teeth look and feel amazing. And this week I went and did the Zoom whitening. OK, it is not the most comfortable procedure, but Sarah and the rest of the staff make it the best it can be: pain meds prior to starting, a hand treatment, neck wrap, warm blanket, headphones with my fav Pandora station, and they never let that massage chair turn off. I did have "zingers" for the next 6 or so hours. And the next day my teeth were more sensitive to hot and cold. But 48 hours later they are just fine and noticeably whiter. Much whiter!! read more

Best experience! Very relaxing office and everyone is very nice. While you get your teeth done you are well taken care of. Dr. Kerbs knows what is best for you, I had gone to a different dentist in the past where they had messed up all my teeth after having braces for five years, my teeth were shifted/overlapping/my bite was off and now, fortunately; Dr. Kerbs is in the process of fixing them for me and is doing excellent! Dr Kerbs is great! I have been going to his office for about a year now and he and his stuff have been nothing but great! Everyone in there i super nice! They are concerned and pay attention to your needs. They offer warm scented wraps to put around your neck and even paraffin hand treatments to relax you while they work on you. They also partner with Care Credit which is great since dental is really expensive. I hate going to the dentist, but I highly recommend Dr Kerbs. If any of you are considering going through the process to get your teeth whitened with Zoom technology, please, consider my experience first. I was told several things: the process takes about an hour. There could be slight discomfort felt in the teeth during the first 72 hours, for which they suggest Advil or Tylenol. Your teeth can reach up 8 shades whiter. Here was my experience: the process took 2 and 1/2 hours. During the treatment I experienced intermittent sharp shooting nerve like pain (similar feeling to receiving a filling with not enough novacaine) that literally took my breath away. This continued for 8 hours. I took Advil the first day, the pain continued. I am now 4 and 1/2 weeks out from my treatment and I am still experiencing constant sensitivity with my teeth. There is a constant dull ache in my front teeth and a sensitivity to cold, hot, and breathing cold or hot air. Honestly, it has been pretty miserable. Breathing in the shower, breathing in while running, drinking tea and water, trying to fall asleep in a cold room has all been affected! Friends, family, and myself find it hard to tell a difference in the color of my teeth. If there is a slight lightening, it sure is not worth the amount of pain, suffering, and financial cost of this treatment. According to Dr. Kerb's office, this reaction is not at all common. I am here to tell you that it is a POSSIBLE reaction and should be considered as such. I worry that there has been permanent damage done to my teeth, as I have NEVER experienced sensitive teeth like this EVER! And nothing seems to help. We are bombarded with messages of how to look younger...better, smarter, less wrinkly, thinner, cleaner, on and on and on. Whether it's whitening your teeth, or something else, consider the risk to benefit ratio. The Zoom technique obviously is not as safe as they are claiming it to be. Be wise. Make better choices. I wish that I had. I would take my tinged yellow teeth back in heartbeat! read more

BEST DENTIST EVER. Not only is Dr. Kerbs great, the staff and office is fantastic as well. They're on time, respectful, kind, and you can tell that they actually care about you. It is very relaxing, unlike any other dentist experience I've had. He really knows what he is doing. I felt very comfortable. The office has payment plans, for people like me with no insurance. They offer warm neck pillows, blankets, back supports, and other comforts to make you a little less stressed. It's so great, didn't even feel like I was at the dentist, it was more like a spa trip!
