After having used this dentist for years, it saddens me to have to write a bad review. However, I believe it's fair. I drove 40 miles to the appointment and was 12 minutes late. I accept responsibility for being late without calling, but I didn't want to take more time to pull over to make the call. Once I arrived, I was told that we were going to do more work than I remembered. Again, I accept that I forgot about the extra work. I apologized and said I would not be able to do the extra services today. I willingly agreed to pay the $50 fee for shortening my appointment. They took x-rays and charged me for them, but then Dr. Bainer met with me and told me not to come back. He said I don't get many services there (so I don't spend enough money with them?), I've been late before, and I was rude. He said I received a free cleaning before, but that was because they had not done a thorough job and offered to do more cleaning when I mentioned it. I do not believe I was rude. I do not appreciate being scolded by the receptionist and the dentist, especially after I've apologized and agreed to pay the fee. I found their reaction unacceptable and unnecessarily rude. I would suggest to others that they find a practice where they will be treated with common courtesy and respect. read more

Came in for a crown and cavity. First off, very impressed they were able to take care of the crown the same day. I didn't know that was even possible. Dr. Bainer and John, the Dental Assistant, are absolute professionals, but also very friendly and reassuring. That goes for the whole team there. Every step of my procedures went as easily as it could, and the steps were documented with photos as they went along so I could see them afterwards - which was fascinating to view and showed how flawless the work was. Going to put what she said about it since it's appropriate, "I walked in and was 10 minutes late (it's a easy to miss driving by it several times before realizing which building it is) and right away the doctor comes out and introduces himself - nice! I've never had such attention paid to my teeth before in my life. I am so happy i found the Smile Gallery office after having my retainer break (from another dentist office in Temecula). It had not even been a year since getting that one when it broke (second one breaking from that Temecula orthodondist). I was told a replacement was available at a high cost (it is the clear plastic kind after Invisalign braces). So I called around and kept getting high cost quotes until I contacted the Smile Gallery. Thank goodness I found them. My new retainer was under $100 when all other offices wanted over $250-300.00 to suppy one of the same kind. Go to Smile Gallery if you need a retainer replacement. I have very sensitive teeth, and he was extra careful to make sure I wasn't in pain, even though I know it makes the process harder for him to do what needs to be done. I was just telling my son yesterday .. no one waaaaants to go to the dentist, but you go because you have to. Much like may others, I have had my fair share of bad experiences with dentists. I had some major work done a year ago that left me utterly destroyed and vowing to never have to sit in that chair again - seriously, one of my the most traumatic experiences I've ever had. That is of course until the dreaded "ache" takes hold and well, theres only so many times you can brush your teeth a day. LoL This was me until last week ... doing my best to keep from making that call. Weak. I know ... I called. I called fully expecting to have to wait for at the very least a few days before being seen. However, they were able to set me up with an early spot the next morning. *cue the anxiety* The office is in a great spot ... easy to find, parking wasn't bad at all. Walking into the office and immediately greeted and helped with with smiling eyes (thanks to the mask mandate). Sat down and what seemed like a couple minutes later I was showed through the office to ... the chair. The office where the magic happens is larger than it looks and seems to be spaced out perfectly allowing for each chair to have its very own section; thats what it felt like when I sat down .. very private corner. This is very different than the past visits I've had with other dentists. You're already quite vulnerable with your mouth wide open laid on your back that an open room concept, while great for the home doesn't necessarily bode well for the dentists office .. at least not for me. So here I am, in the chair, the assistant is doing assistant things ... listening to the issue I have, xrays, etc. Her demeanor was comforting; as was her voice. Dr. Bainer enters after a short while, takes a seat and very thoroughly explains what is about to happen. His demeanor was equally as comforting. Not once did it feel rushed nor did it feel like he was force feeding me 'dentist jargon', but rather spoke in terms I could understand and did I mention thoroughly? Thankfully, the work I needed wasn't significant today, but I must say ... I'm thoroughly impressed. I will have to backtrack on my position with my son and clarify. No one wants to go to a bad dentist, but certainly everyone wants to have healthy teeth and gums. So it wasn't so much that I didnt want to go to the dentist, but I just didn't want to got to THAT dentist. If this first visit is indicative of their body of work then I am looking forward to seeing THIS dentist. See you in March. read more

Very nice staff and doctor, however: I went to Dr. Bainer for a sore on my gum near a crown on my front tooth. He looked at it and said it would probably go away in a couple weeks. When I went back for a cleaning a couple of weeks later it was still there and was told I probably had an abscess. He then referred me to a plastic surgeon to have my front 2 teeth extracted and implants. Estimate approximately $13,000. I asked if the infection shouldn't be treated first and he said it wouldn't do any good, implants were the only option. I went to another dentist who root planed the tooth, cured the infection and I still have my own teeth. read more
