I really like the windows, the house is so much quieter than with the previous windows, the quality is excellent and a good value. The window installation went pretty smoothly the installers were friendly, the installation actually took 2 days, when I was originally told it would be done in 1 and then someone still had to come back 2 days later time to reinstall the blinds, so I was without window coverings for that time. I was very pleased with the end results of the installation. My home was in need of an update i felt like the ac or the heater wouldn't cool or heat my home. But after the new windows were installed you could feel how quickly the temperature changes and stays in the home and the noise from the outside is definitely less. These guys called me to ask if I was interested in energy efficient windows. Who isn't, right? They offered to send someone out to give me an estimate. This sounds excellent. Well, this company sends Brett. (Sorry Brett, grab a fire suit.) Brett claims to be the nephew of the owner. He's not. They're not even related in any way. They attend barbecues together. Let's be clear. Brett, who is a genuinely nice guy (someone I could be friends with), shows up with a laptop and a near 2 hour PowerPoint presentation, which I made him power through (no pun), reducing my wasted time by 30 minutes. He shows me a contractors license in the slide. I'm not a contractor. I'm just a normal guy. This means nothing to me. I don't know what I'm looking at. He shows me other jobs they've done. Cool. What about MY house, guy? Oh sure, sure. It'll be (adds literally random numbers together, I kid you not) 30k+, BUT with a few weird "rules" and incentives, he can bring the total down to nearly 20k but I have to sign NOW, and hands me a pen. Oh I dont get an itemized quote? I just have to take your word at 20k and this will be done? Jog on, friend. I say no. He's pissed. He leaves. Thank you for wasting my time. I get a call the next day, "well Brett's not my nephew, he's new [say it isn't so] and I can send someone else, a supervisor, who can give you a far more competitive price." The man on the phone says to me, confidently. "I'll give your supervisor the amount of time it takes to write the estimate," as Brett has also gone into the red for my wasted time tolerance. "10 mins, nothing more." "We can't do that." "Why not?" I ask. "Well there's a presentation..." Oh you mean the TED Talk about industry jargon and number adding that no one understands? Hard pass, mate. I wouldn't let these guys on my property to use the bathroom, let alone let them do any work on my house. Not for any amount of money. Not even for free. The red flags run RAMPANT over the phone and they bring more with them when they show up with their projector and podium for the inevitable commencement speech about how legit they are as a company, how people trust them, and how good their work is. Good businesses don't need to say how good they are. Their work quality and reputation is the foundation on which they can stand on. Not cold calling with fancy, shady AF incentives and SIGN-IT-NOW-contracts. My sincerest apologies to Brett, my guys just working his job, but also misrepresenting himself, which, speaks volumes about the people above him. Don't do it, friends. Find someone else. read more

This is the second set of windows I installed in this house; the first time, it took two days with two people. With AHES, they sent two people and worked efficiently and quietly. I had to put my blinds back up, but I explained that the silicon sealant needed to dry before the blinds were returned where they belonged. I have been wanting to update my houses paint job since I moved in 3 years ago. It started with call that I would normally hang up on or say not interested , but for some reason I answered and started discussing about turning my home into a energy saver, I was intrigued and had scheduled for some one to come out to my home and give us their little presentation. Sounds very promising. Alex came on time, very professional and very polite. He basically sold us on the whole Tex-cote product for painting our house, I fell in love with the idea that I would never have to paint my house again unless it's to change the color. Alex stated that with Tex-Cote it never fade, chips or cracks, this product also showed the difference in thermal reading between a regular painted house and a Tex-Cote painted house. Alex answered all our questions and concerns. He is very knowledgeable with the product he's carrying. Alex did an amazing job in product demo, doesn't look like he's nervous tho it's his first time going to the field. Installation was kinda quick, week after Alex came out another guy came to take measurements and evaluate the structure of our home, he noted down everything that needed to be replaced and repaired, also picked the color for the house and trim. The following week I was contacted by Megan and was told installation would start that thursday, so in 2 weeks from when Alex came I was getting my house makeover. It literally took a weeks time to repair, prep and prime, and then finally paint. Sergio and his team came on time and did an amazing job, good communication and had respect for my home. I have no complaints about this company. If ever I will purchase another house in the future they will be my number one contractor for upgrades. Give this company a try. I was approached by Advanced Home Energy Solutions to replace windows and sliding glass doors in my condo. Although I didn't plan on making these home improvements I did have problems with my sliding glass doors so decided to have them replaced. It was a large investment for me but each of my four sliding glass doors had a problem so I figured this was the time to take care of it. As the say, "Proof is in the pudding". Had 11 windows replaced where the pm sun hits the most at the back of the home. Today is 98 degrees and my air just went on at 1:00 pm with thermostat set at 78 degrees. Before we had these windows you could feel the heat radiating through our windows enough so you could not sit comfortably by one lg picture window. NOW, you feel no heat on the inside of the windows! I open the house up at 5:30am and close by 8:am and the house stays cool. 5 stars for the windows, had a few issues with end cosmetic issues caused by installers but quickly taken care of. read more

Next step Mr R Bowman project manager came out and took measurements. He was very efficient, well mannered and dressed appropriately. My windows were ready in about 6 weeks. Two worker's came out and installed my new windows in about 4 hours. They took down my window air-conditioning units. And moved some furniture. They cleaned up everything. And put all furniture back where it was. My experience with everyone was excellent. My new windows kept sound inside better. And keeps outside noise out. I'm really happy with them. I was called and gave permission to have them come to give me an estimate. Alex arrived on time but that's when things went wrong. BEFORE he would show me windows he said he has to run a "soft credit check". That's where I should have asked him to leave. He had problems, nothing went through, he had to call his boss to do it. When all was said and done I didn't qualify which is ludicrous. He left not ever showing me anything but having already run my credit. That night I got an alert from TransUnion that my credit had dropped 7 points due to a hard credit check from Service Finance who I was never asked about. It was a HARD credit check not a soft one. I never gave permission for a hard credit check, I did however give one for the soft credit check. I sent Alex a text telling him what happened and asked that it be corrected. No response. I sent another text on Monday asking that he contact me, again no response. I'm stuck with a hard credit check I didn't authorize while trying very hard to rebuild my credit. 7 points may not matter to some but to me it lowered my score enough that purchasing a car is out of the question thanks to them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are untruthful, non-responsive and won't show you their products without a credit check FIRST. You aren't even given the opportunity to see what they are trying to sell you without running your credit first! read more

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical because of the price and I felt communication was a bit lacking. But our new windows and screen door were installed, and they look great! We love the Anlin windows and are very happy with the long warranty they come with. The installers came promptly and did a great job; they covered the floor, installed, and cleaned up afterwards. It is amazing to see how people like to collect bad reviews. This company works very hard to get this review from me, and I don't want to let them down. I want to replace 10 big windows (107 x 71) and one patio door. The sales guy came as we agreed. He starts his presentation and we start to talking money. His first price was around $24k, he calls his office and they gave him a list of discounts he can give me. he ends up in $14k. we agreed, and we scheduled a measurements appointment in two days. So far so good, (yes. the good end up there, how did you know?) As agreed, a guy showed up to do the measurements. After a short time he left, and so am I (need to work time to time) When I came back, I opened my bedroom window to get some fresh air, I discover that the mosquito net wasn't there. I went out and found it in the bushes, and all bend. (see picture) I called the office, and they said that they will send someone to fix it and put it back. At this time I started to doubt this company's integrity. So I canceled the contract as the law gives me 72 hrs to do so. The new guy came as agreed, But he has less knowledge how to fix it, Before he arrived I went to see if there are any other damages to any other window. Sure. I found that the seal around one of the windows was broken (see picture). I showed it to the guy, and he took several pictures too I sent them an email and text asking when they will be here to fix the 2 windows, but no response so far. Well, tomorrow morning I will call another company to come and fix it and I will send the invoice to this company. I hope they will not drag me to court. to be continued. read more

Talked with their salesperson and he told me what to expect and that they warranted their parts and labor for 10 years. The installation of the heating and air system took 2 days. They came when they were expected, were professional and helpful in moving a trunk out of the hallway. The system is quieter than the original and is supposed to be more energy efficient. They installed a new thermostat as well. No problems. They redid the ducting with no problems. And they cleaned up after themselves before leaving. I have no complaints. read more

From consult to installation was only 1 month, compared to the 12+ weeks expected with the others we consulted with. They also helped us get multiple discounts to drive down the cost of the windows. This company is not straight forward about quoting you a price. After sitting through a 3 hour presentation for a new heater and exterior painting, Tommy, our sales person said that they just need to run our credit for a soft pull even though we said we wanted time to think about it. But we were told in order to "lock down" their price they quoted we would have to sign a notice to cancel in 5 days. We canceled the next day after I did some price comparisons and realized that we could save three times the amount they were charging us for the same work. Tommy said no problem, everything would be canceled. Then we found out our credit score went down! When we called the company they said there was nothing they could do and that we would have to call the loan companies ourselves to cancel. I cannot believe that Tommy lied to our face about this being a soft pull and it was actually a hard pull. This is a horrible company, do not trust them!!! We signed a contract with Advanced Home Energy Solutions in March 2019 to fix our leaky roof and coat the exterior of our home. We did not hear from the company for a month after signing the contract most likely due to the home owner's association approval process. Late April we picked colors for the home and May 3rd we met with the Foreman for coating the exterior. Jose was a pleasure to work with and provided amazing costumer service. The crew spent 2 days prepping the exterior and 2 days painting/coating. On May 15th they completed the exterior paint and on May 17th and 18th they completed the roof. It rained the next day and we had no leaks! I will admit, I became worried after reading some previous Yelp reviews, but the contractor Tim assured me that we would be happy with the results and he was correct. We are very happy with the results and hope we continue to have a good experience with this company in the future as they are providing a lifetime warranty on the coating. The original contract stated the roof would have a 25-year warranty however the end product ended up being only 15-years. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the change in the warranty and the office called without knowing the specifics of our contract asking for down payments which initially caused distress. Tim and Jose made up for it with their commitment to customer satisfaction. read more
